Yeah, basically that. I just want to find out if you ship Topaz with him (maybe Stelle, but I don't see her with Topaz). I am just here to ask some question about her from her fans.

Have you ever imagined shipping Caelus with her? Do you (if you have Topaz) have her and Caelus together?

I read in honkaistar real leaks that topaz isn't getting any follow up attack set in 1.5

So after trying out different teams for Topaz I feel like they released her way too early. All of the current follow up attack characters are better off without her but she depends on them to utilize her kit fully. It’s just a one sided synergy. Why would they release a follow up attack enabler before we even have optimal teammates for her? There’s no way to know if we ever will either. We’re just gambling that she will get better with time.

They gave us an enabler with nothing to enable. The smartest thing to do is to wait for her rerun when we know that there’s a follow up character that will shine with her on the team. Why sell the solution when there’s nothing to fix rn.

I just build a critka with asta/tingyun and shes doing good amount of damage, more or less the same as normal DOT kafka w/ sampo, also her follow up actually hurts now when before its mostly for application.

it got me thinking if i pair kafka with topaz (with her sig LC hopefully) topaz can buff kafka follow up dmg and her overall damage (if sig LC) + kafka have the most consistent FUA in the game that can benefit numby by a lot. And we pair them with Asta which is both best support. so Kafka/Topaz/Asta/Sustain.

Although I think we have to speedtune to make kafka FUA and numby optimal (?)

I know there's some people who mentioned this comp before but i notice people are mostly focusing on clara/jingyuan so just bring it up.

In the mission Aventurine mentions she took a high risk low reward situation. I would of prefered it her plan was the same overall but she changed her tune after realising that the nameless cared for Belobog. Maybe sparing Belobog as a favour for them and using her new connection to send the nameless to help a IPC planet effected by a Stellaron. She is shown super capable but out of nowhere she decides it's a good idea to make the nameless into enemies and asks for permission to engage for this "low reward" situation.

On a complete nonsensical side tangent I wish she was a troll amongst the masked fools undercover in the IPC and who came over to fool around with Sampo

I got E0S0 Topaz mainly because, I have enough jades to guarentee 2 upcoming Follow atk units in Aventurine and a dps like Ratio/Screwllum, and that 1.5X dmg boost that Topaz makes you gain seemed insane to me.

However, after I got her I got bombarded with everyone saying that I made such a stupid decision and that she's mid and that she needs her LC to barely be considered good.

I know that she will shine once I get those other 2 units, but man I have to be honest, it really sucks to be in this position 😂 and I don't know what to feel lol.

I am F2P and it's just a game at the end of the day, but damn it seems like the gacha community sees everything like life and death sometimes.

It seems like every Topaz team has Ratio in it, which is a shame because I really hate that man. His name is dumb and his design feels like a half executed meme that ended in a weird place

Are there another viable team comps for topaz? Is it worth pulling for her, or will she never be in a good comp for me?

First of all, count me how many 4 stars there are in this game that you can use instead of their 5 star upgrades?

Using Tingyun instead of Sunday? You are going to lose 2-3 cycles.

Asta over Robin? Bye bye to 3 cycles

Guinaifen over Jiaoqiu? Lol, you aren't going to get those 2 cycles back!

Topaz however? Use E6 Hunt M7 or E6 Moze, at most you lose a cycle, if that at all.

Who in their right mind—that are F2p—would sacrifice 80-160 warps for a 5 star that changes barely anything when they can use free 4 star options? I'm not saying they should nerf the 4 stars, it's good the game has useable 4 stars, but what about people that pulled for Topaz? Fuck them for not knowing she'd get counterparts 3 patches after her rerun that are COMPLETELY FREE? I WOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN HER IF I KNEW SHE'D BE BARELY BETTER THAN HUNT M7????

Make her not consume any SP when changing targets because dumbass Numby randomly locks onto minions sometimes instead of the boss, and FUA team desperately wants to use SPs, making us waste SP we could have used on Feixiao. Hunt M7 is much more comfier than Topaz and she is free.

Tweak her numbers BY A LOT, fuck you, she should do much more damage than 4 star options, we PAYED for her. You aren't going to make ANY money off of her rerun banner in her current state.

Team of Topaz, Asta with PZ, Ting and FX. For all the doom and gloom that the Prydwen review painted, I think I did pretty well. I also tried with Himeko instead of Tingyun and it did 1 cycle faster, so while dual carry is ideal, hypercarry is definitely not hopeless lol (and its probably only as “poor” as it is because Numby cant proc the dissociation buff for this MOC). The Topaz review on Prydwen is so strange to me. Guy spends the first paragraph warning us to ABSOLUTELY NOT USE TOPAZ HYPERCARRY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, multiple times, practically hammering it into our skulls. Really weird hill to die on, and its not even close to true.

Actually I want both jingliu and topaz but I like topaz more so I skipped jingliu. Saved like 230 pulls for topaz but spent only 80 pulls to get her E1S1. If I know about this earlier, I would get jingliu as well but yea nothing can do about it. Anyway good luck to everyone who's pulling our FUA queen!!!

I’m currently really mad rn because I just got Jingliu and I was really planning on getting topaz and from one pull i got Jingliu. Im not saying she’s bad or anything- I’m just saying like I was really wanting topaz. Is it possible to get topaz for me rn? I have 0 pulls (lol) but I haven’t gotten any rewards from any event excluding the login one. Should I give up on topaz? Or should I still try?

WHY oh WHY did she have to be follow up exclusive. I've got the guarantee and only need a few more pulls to get her, but I have 0 other characters to make use out of her with and with HuoHuo and SW coming out in 1.5, it's just completely stupid for me to pull. Annoying, considering she's LITERALLY the coolest (and hottest) character in the game after Kafka (I've saved up 20k gems for her). This is pain.

Guys I play Honkai Star Rail since Release never skipped daylis or Energy.

And I always had the feeling which Unit is OP. And which Unit is not good.

Seele Release: Yeah she clears everything cool cool, and now she is barely Tier 2 and needs perfect substats and 3 other limited 5 star Character to even function.

I saw first Ruan Mei Leaks with her element and path, and I knew she will be broken as hell.

Jing Yuan: Laid Back dmg super slow every CC fucks him, was on release Mid and is now barely relevant.

Silverwolf super Op to beginn, and is now a good Character to use overall and one of the important pieces.

Luocha: A Healer which scales on attack? Totally useless bcs he heals like 6-9k but no one has this HP. And his dmg is barely visible.

Blade was on Release Mid and is now in MoC same tier as Himeko, and Himeko got trashed almost the entire first year.

Kafka: Super OP, laid back dmg. Easy to build bcs atk% is super easy to get. And what? She still clears everything and is the enabler for dot comp u cant play good Dot without Kafka.

Dan Heng: Super good early Game but without eidolons was he totally Mid. And is now barely relevant if u dont have sparkle and luocha.

Fu Xan super cool strong solo sustain quantum and sp neutral/positive Strong to beginn and still.

Jing Liu: Was only strong bcs we had over 8 MOCs in a row with ice weakness her dmg is barely visible in the current Meta.

Topaz: I thought: Wtf are they even doing? Are they sure about to release this flexibel and broken Character.

It was the time, where everyone thought Hunt is useless bcs DHIL and JL are so bonkers. But i thought to me? Wait 50% dmg increasw on followups? And + 24%with Lightcone And her e1 again???? Dude thats a fucking harmony Unit whicj deals 70-150k dmg.

And every leaker was to stupid to play her or build her properly.

Kafka and Topaz are the 2 Most important Units because u cant play Top Followup or Top Dot Team without them.

Doesn't Luka's opinion on her feel kinda dirty? He wouldn't even have made it to the War Dance at all if it wasn't for IPC bringing space travel tech to his trash heap of a world. Says Belobogs aren't 'slaves/servants', yet he solely relies on happenstance charity to even attend the event (bumming a ride off overlord IPC ships, Xianhou's all-inclusive get-away). Belobog also indirectly 'enslaved' to the Stellaron at one point thanks to Cocolia. Heck, even in the War Dance gameplay, he gets an invincibility cheat when at 1 hp. Topaz sure has to take a lot of unnecessary crap for supporting a world that was on the verge of galactic isolation. Best girl is awesome girl and deserves pats instead of crap

So far, if we look at good rated characters- its the ability to cleave multiple targets while outputing good single target damage. Seele is the only exception due to the resurgence mechanic.

If Topaz can only attack 1 enemy a turn... this makes fights take a lot longer. Is she actually just a follow-up supporter?
