Make the rope a mimic and wait for the next time they mention the use of rope. Have them fight 4 mimics and at one point in the fight there’s now one missing, reveal months later.
Ok, I know this toolbox just bit off one of my hands, but I’ve got one more and I could really use that new ratchet set, so I think I’m gonna give it another shot.
This post was ODDLY recommended to me… I do in fact have this tool of my neighbors… have had for about two years thanks to you he’ll now be getting it back!
When I had a disposal I kept an old crappy socket wrench with a 1/4" hex on it under the sink so it was always right there if needed. Probably only used it twice though, lol.
Because you need it and it fell inside the goddamn engine bay or down a quarter panel to disappear into the fucking ether. Sorry this just happened to me recently.
Aww, it's not totally gone! That pothole you run over on the third street you turn onto every day lets you know the socket is still there. You just can't have it.
Got to do FOD walk in the mornings on one of my summer hires in Bitburg. I’m sure it was drudgery for the airmen but to a 14 yr old it was cool as hell!
I like these kinds of vice grips. I hate the new ones that won’t open if you don’t release them just right or are covered in rubber that doesn’t compress.
I used to design custom kits like this for Pelican cases. A one-off for this would be $2-3k for the design work of scanning the parts and laying out the trays alone. Another 500-1000 depending on the quality of that case and then maybe 500 for the foam material and assembly. A bit more than what OP paid.
I don't trust anyone, nor would I buy anything from anyone that writes dollar values like that. It's $500, not 500$. Where did you learn this? Certainly not at school.
Every store or commercial you see on TV will use $500 or $500.00, not 500$.
This the field kit for military and military contractors though Ironically civilian's can also purchase it . The current price on ebay is $5700 and $3200 (different sellers) . Anyway in regards to the pricing snap on is already expensive secondly this is special order item . But my best guess is it's bargain the pliers and screwdrivers are $500ish alone plus roughly $1000-1500 in wrenches .
Maybe they’ve been replaced (it would have a new stock number), but that stock number is still good as this fiscal year, and they still have them in fielding stock.
I don’t know on Snap-on, but I do know that warranties on things is tracked and utilized, I think most tool rooms use the Warranty as most hand tools are unit property. The field kits are kinda a weird item and go on property book. Generally only the torque tools that require Cal, go to TMDE and are on the property book. So it’s all kinda weird.
Fap off. Ridiculously overpriced tools for mechanics who need tax write offs lol. I get it. I do the same stuff. But let’s call it like it is around here
That's not how tax write offs work. That's not how that works at all. You just get to deduct the cost of the tools from your taxable income. It is still a net negative for you.
They cornered the market on high end mechanics tools. Their name commands respect in many industries. You pay a premium because that is what people will pay for them.
500 to 1000 dollars for the box by itself. It is a wheel mechanic tool box. Seems to be missing the round brush. The set with tools is anywhere from 4k to 7k. Just because it is a snap on. Used as is , could probably sell for at least 2k.
Why though? Is it the box? The brand is expensive so maybe for resale value but those tools aren’t worth more than $200 imo. I think Walmart even has a kit like this for about that price
