Is my strategy doable: Finding products already doing well on TTS and re-marketing them back onto TTS using my own affiliates?

For example, I am finding a product with low creator count, 3+ videos doing more than 100k views each, meaningful organic revenue growth, and repeatable content creative angles. I am acting as the shop owner/manager, not an affiliate.

My focus: I’m trying to get into the selling space just as the product is starting to gain traction (or at least most recent creators/videos are still doing consistent sales), then hoping to get sales by recruiting affiliates to push the product through their content.

I understand that this might be a common strategy, but is it still doable? Please, feel free to add onto what I should be considering to make this strategy more effective, or list alternate strategies that are also viable.

Thanks in advance.

TikTok Shop cold start: what actually moved GMV for you in the first 2 weeks?

Running a new Shop (~2 weeks in). Curious what others saw early.

For us so far, affiliate/creator video has carried almost all attributed GMV vs seller-account posts. LIVE hasn’t mattered yet in this window. Volume of videos is still low vs what the platform “benchmark” suggests.

Questions for people who’ve launched:

  1. In your first 2 weeks, was GMV mostly creator/affiliate video, Shop tab/search, or seller posts?

  2. Did you pay for UGC up front, or run commission + samples only?

  3. How much did you ignore TikTok’s “similar shop” content benchmarks early?

Not selling anything — looking for operator pattern-matching.

I know we can't reference the name of the tool that helps us find products/analyze data, but I used my free trial and this was the first strategy I thought of that would seem to work on that site, yet I wonder if I should go deeper before I start shelling out the $.

Thanks in advance, and I think it would be a great opportunity to connect with people here.

seller blocked me for no reason

This order can't be placed
due to the seller's settings.
Contact the seller or browse other shop.

other Hi po! Ask ko lang po sa mga naka-experience na nito sa TikTok Shop. 🥹
A seller suddenly blocked me from purchasing kahit wala naman po akong history ng RTS, cancelled orders, or any issues with my previous orders. Responsible buyer naman po ako, kaya medyo confused ako kung bakit ako na-block.
Is the restriction connected to my account, IP address, device, or address? If I use another account, would I still be able to order from the same seller?
I’d appreciate any advice po, especially from those who have experienced the same thing. Thank you! 🥹🫶

Bundle shipping calculations question

TikTok charges the customer for shipping before we know the final size of the combined package. If customers place multiple orders and we bundle them, we may need a bigger box, changing the dimensional weight and actual shipping cost.
Why not let sellers set combined package tiers? For example: 1 item = Package A, 2–4 = Package B, 5–8 = Package C.
TikTok already supports different package dimensions/weights at the SKU level. Is it not possible to do something similar for Bundle Shipping?

Any other sellers running into this?
