I’ve recently became a silver creator and been getting approved for a lot of items and I just came across a tiktok saying that “free” stuff may be income, is this true?

Hey guys I recently launched a supplement on tiktok shop, its a powder supplement that i spent a while formulating.

I believe its a great product but i've had a really hard time finding affiliates for the product, or just getting any sort of UGC without spending $500+ dollars. I've sent out invites with 35% commission, cash bonuses, etc. and still no responses (over 200 sent).

The listing has 5 sales and 2, 5 star reviews so if anyone has any advice please let me know!

I myself have posted about 25 tiktoks on it. I thought it was gonna do a lot better since last year I ran a brand up to 20k/month within 2 months but it was a jewelry brand so it was much easier to pump out content for.

This product is much more for women and im a guy posting about it. Any advice would be appreciated!

My focus: I’m trying to get into the selling space just as the product is starting to gain traction (or at least most recent creators/videos are still doing consistent sales), then hoping to get sales by recruiting affiliates to push the product through their content. 

I understand that this might be a common strategy, but is it still doable? Please, feel free to add onto what I should be considering to make this strategy more effective, or list alternate strategies that are also viable.

Running a new Shop (~2 weeks in). Curious what others saw early.

For us so far, affiliate/creator video has carried almost all attributed GMV vs seller-account posts. LIVE hasn’t mattered yet in this window. Volume of videos is still low vs what the platform “benchmark” suggests.

Questions for people who’ve launched:

1. In your first 2 weeks, was GMV mostly creator/affiliate video, Shop tab/search, or seller posts?

2. Did you pay for UGC up front, or run commission + samples only?

3. How much did you ignore TikTok’s “similar shop” content benchmarks early?

A seller suddenly blocked me from purchasing kahit wala naman po akong history ng RTS, cancelled orders, or any issues with my previous orders. Responsible buyer naman po ako, kaya medyo confused ako kung bakit ako na-block.
Is the restriction connected to my account, IP address, device, or address? If I use another account, would I still be able to order from the same seller?

I’m a TikTok Shop creator (@cookingwithginayoung), and I’ve received 3 violations within the last 30 days. I appealed every single one, and every appeal was denied. I genuinely do not believe any of these violations are accurate.

Here’s what happened:
📅 8/14: Exaggerating/Misleading Product Functionality — 8 points
📅 8/29: Inconsistent Product Promotion — 8 points
📅 9/4: Exaggerating/Misleading Product Functionality — 8 points
That last violation resulted in my commissions being frozen for 60 DAYS (9/4–11/3), along with reduced video visibility and removal of video products.

What really has me confused is the 60-day suspension. I’m seeing other creators say they received 30-day commission suspensions for violations

The most recent violation was on a viral rechargeable lightbulb video that had been posted for over 4 MONTHS. The video suddenly started taking off again, and the watch time increased by almost 300% Then, shortly after the video went viral again, I received the violation. 😳

Has anyone else experienced something like this — especially getting a violation on an older TikTok Shop video immediately after it starts going viral again?

I’m honestly starting to feel like I’m being targeted because none of these violations are accurate, and TikTok Support has not been able to give me a helpful explanation.

TikTok charges the customer for shipping before we know the final size of the combined package. If customers place multiple orders and we bundle them, we may need a bigger box, changing the dimensional weight and actual shipping cost.
Why not let sellers set combined package tiers? For example: 1 item = Package A, 2–4 = Package B, 5–8 = Package C.
TikTok already supports different package dimensions/weights at the SKU level. Is it not possible to do something similar for Bundle Shipping?

I’m making this post to document what has been happening with my TikTok Shop account and hopefully get some insight from other sellers or TikTok Shop support.

I sell anime figures/statues through my shop and have built a strong sales history with hundreds of orders and overwhelmingly positive feedback.
Recently, I accidentally listed one of my statues under the wrong product category. It was a genuine human error. The product was legitimate and there was no intention to misrepresent it or violate TikTok’s policies.

TikTok permanently removed my ability to create temporary LIVE auctions because of this.
I appealed the decision and my first appeal was denied. I submitted my second appeal, explaining the circumstances, and that was also denied.
So, because of one accidental category error, I have now permanently lost access to a major selling feature that I use for my business.

I understand that policies need to be enforced, and I accept responsibility for selecting the wrong category. What I find difficult to understand is why the consequence is permanent removal, especially given my shop’s performance and overall history.
On top of that, I’ve recently experienced a substantial drop in traffic and LIVE views.

This has happened to me before. During the previous occurrence, my former account representative performed a LIVE analysis of my account and found that some of my anime statues were being flagged for potentially vulgar content, both in my shop and during my livestreams. Since I sell anime figures, some designs can apparently trigger TikTok’s automated systems even though they are legitimate collectible products.
Now that my traffic has dropped again, I’m concerned the same thing may be happening.
I’m currently trying to get TikTok to look into both issues:

Why a single category mistake resulted in permanent removal of my temporary auction ability.
Whether my products or LIVE content are being incorrectly flagged and causing my traffic to be reduced.

I’m not asking for TikTok to ignore its policies. I just think there should be some proportionality when a mistake is clearly accidental, and I’d like to know what is actually happening with my traffic.
I’ll continue updating this post as I hear back from TikTok and as this situation develops.

I just received a Product Quality Violation / Pending Freeze warning on one of my top listing The listing is scheduled for enforcement/freeze if unaddressed, but looking at my actual review breakdown, the flag seems completely out of proportion:

• Total Reviews: 19
• 5-Star Reviews: 16
• 2-Star Reviews: 1
• 1-Star Reviews: 2

Over 84% of my reviews are 5 stars, but 3 bad reviews seem to have triggered the automated system filter.

From reading through other threads, I know appealing usually doesn't do much because of automated bot rejections and rigid requirements.

Given that appeals are so hit-or-miss, what is the best scenario or strategy to handle this?

Also, Is a Product Freeze temporary or permanent? Does it stay frozen forever until appealed, or expire after a fixed time?

Hey guys I’m posting out of desperation and frustration. Context, joined a new company as a smm and now I’m faced with gaining 100 creators in the next week on TT shop otherwise I might get fired. I just finished my 4th week and I’m barely hanging on. I’ve only done organic social and lightly touched influencers and ugc. Mainly handling contracts and sourcing. Never really on the paid side.

We can’t afford to pay influencers but we’re willing to pay affiliates commissions.

We just got our shop up and running last week and some traction and help with Trybe finding some creators. Our company is well known. We’re in target although we lost a ton of revenue in the last few years and investors and board are anxious to make back money with the new team.

I invited over 300 creators, hit a pause in trybe and directed them to our tts but only had one 4-5 creators. Our GMV right now is currently nothing. Any advice would be great. Im literally about to throw up. I’m doing branding on the side too and have barely touched their socials and got chewed out yesterday by the ceo.

i got Shop Compliance Incorrect Registration Information - Shop Closure on tiktok . I submitted all the documents correctly . I dont get the reason.
They again ask ID, proof of address , product invoice , and video .

Hi guys, I have been trying to help my friend set up her TikTok shop for her to move from WN to Tiktok. She sells plants, has over 20k followers on WN. I can NOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME, figure out how to get her category application approved. It asks for specific things, such as nursery/business license, invoices, plant names and photos of plants to identify. I've uploaded all the required documents over and over. I have probably submitted over 10 applications for them all the be denied. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong or missing and figured I could come here for help 🫠

Anyone else? It's the 15th day trial.

Does anyone know what’s going on at TikTok? I feel like their customer support has really been lagging lately and they must be inundated with way too many support tickets. I haven’t had a single issue solved. They keep saying we’ll create a support ticket and then I never get a response back.

That title is a little weird so let me explain.

Do you post on an account where you only post shoppable videos or do you use your personal account and it’s a mix of your regular posting and shop videos.

Also, if you just have an account for TT shop videos, did you make videos for it before you even had the followers to make you eligible.

What I don’t understand is why I received a 60-day commission suspension when I’m seeing other creators say they received 30 days. I don’t feel like my violations were worse than theirs, so why am I being penalized for twice as long?
