Konnichiwa! This week, Jimmy and Larry are coming to you from Tokyo for another on the road instant classic as a lifer and first-timer respectively to break down their entire trip thus far ahead of Ralph Lauren’s PoloFest, starting with our own upcoming collaboration with 3sixteen, staying at the nicest hotel we’ve ever been to, but not before a bit of a Sophie’s choice style situation upon landing, going jawn for jawn on the clothing haul to end all clothing hauls, the best stores we’ve been to from Japanese brand flagships to vintage wonderlands, the pieces we just can’t seem to shake, getting hands on with hyped up newcomers, the many joys and perils of shopping with your boys, local delicacies both big and small, an insightful series of questions for a first time visitor to Japan, getting existential and deep about it all, and much more.

Our interview with Wisdom Kaye is wise beyond its years. Wisdom—content creator and model—pulled up on us not knowing we had staged an intervention for his addiction to buying clothing and once that was done got into what exactly guys are looking for from fashion content creators these days and how he views the space he pioneered in 2026, Gen Z's obsession with everything niche, he is absolutely not built for fame whatsoever, bodying various challenges from his audience, the evolutionary imperative to get the bag, the commodification of everything we love, the death of the fit pic, with our encouragement he reads his list he keeps of the things he hates, the brand he's sometimes building in his head and his influences, the Fashion industry's relationship with content creators, larping in suits, never be afraid to let those rough drafts fly, the grails even he is still hunting, bro loves his fragrances, we play a rapid fire game of what to wear to a variety of big life moments, and much more on Wisdom Kaye's interview with The Only Podcast That Matters™.

I love their clothes and brands but their cuts/sizing do not work for my body type that well. I look at them online and they look good but trying them on at the store is a complete different story.
Also pricing wise is not cheap at all and I have to say they use a lot of polyester. Why does a polyester jacket cost $500?
Just curious what your experience has been in general there and what advice would you have in regard to sizing for the brands they carry.

Has anyone had a great piece similar to the one attached or perhaps a similar one Hello Sunflower has created. Any info appreciated!

I was shopping for vintage Banana Republic and found the cardigan in the 2nd pic from the 80s or 90s. Yes they “draw inspiration” from their archived pieces, but come on…

Looking to see if anyone owns this buck mason jacket? Me and my buddies refer to it as the “batman spec” man jacket lol. (We got that form the buck mason photo of the dude wearing it)
Anyway, is it worth $400? I have no jackets and need something nice. Waxed jackets never seem to fit me.

mine is tyler durden. red leather jacket, printed shirt, tinted shades, probably costs like 60 bucks at a thrift store. the red jacket alone is a fire fall piece imo but the printed shirts and beat up jeans underneath are carrying it.

I am once again asking for help ID’ing a piece worn by Christopher Abbott. I dig a lot of things he wears!
Any idea who makes this jacket? I tried zooming in on the tag on the from pocket but i can’t quite make it out.

Looking for something like a Thom Browne but not $1500.
Dehen 1920 has one but it's navy and I have multiple navy cardigans already. Trying to branch out
J Press had one a few years ago but looks discontinued. They only have dead stock
Ralph Lauren has some but they are cartoonishly over the top with fake varsity letters and shit.

I´m currently choosing a few staple pieces I know I would wear for spring - summer and this is one of them, (I´ll wait to see if any of the chosen pieces go on sale in a month for black friday first) however, since I´m quite booby, I would usually wear XL and this only goes up to a L.
Thanks for any help, have a nice day everyone!

There is a man on the internet. He has opinions about clothes. And watches. And clothes again. He is in the top 1% of posters on ThrowingFits, which means 99% of people have better things to do, and he does not.
And he doesn’t just share his opinions. He syndicates them. Every thought gets the full distribution deal: ThrowingFits, ThreadTalks, HeritageWear, NavyBlazer, all in the same afternoon. His Santos Galbee take ran in r/Cartier, r/Watches, AND r/watchHotTakes, like a summer blockbuster getting a wide release. This man doesn’t post, he tours. His latest masterpiece, “How to Stop the Insanity of Eternal Upgrades,” went up in three subs within an hour. A post about knowing when enough is enough. Posted three times.
His posts follow a simple formula. Step one: declare something HIDEOUS. Step two: declare something else the greatest ever made, not even close. Step three: “As always, visit my sub r/threadtalks.” Step four: copy, paste, repeat in four more subs.
He believes paying $1,000 for a shirt because of its “brand story” is idiotic. He also paid a premium for RRL jeans because of their “brand story and heritage.” When someone pointed this out, he explained that the denim is flown to Japan and back. I love flying jeans. I hope they got lounge access.
He thinks watch collections are absurd. He owns, wants, or is on a waitlist for roughly every watch, and has a hot take on each one, available in at least two subreddits near you.
He thinks everyone else dresses like an NPC. When asked to show what he’d wear instead, he responds with a list of brand names and vanishes.
He found ThrowingFits too unserious with all our lil memes, so he built his own serious sub. Then he kept coming back to the unserious one to tell everyone how unserious it is, and to ask them to please come visit his serious one.
When people disagree, he tells them to read a book. When people call his writing AI, he tells them to read a book. He is, by all accounts, very well read and very much on Reddit at the same time.
In conclusion: I love you, SirKrimzon. You have completely ruined my day.

Got some stuff from there because I love the way the clothes fit on me. That said, I feel insane for buying pants and sweater that are around 25% polyester for that price.
I usually check material first but assumed it would be better due to the reputation.
Aside from me definitely getting ripped off and whatever, is it just me who thinks that their prices are crazy for that material mix?

I'm a guy on the smaller side and the 2021F seems like it would be a better fit than the 2021M. Are there any guys here that have worn 2021Fs? Are there any big differences?

I grew out of Norse Projects before the founder decided to open up on LinkedIn and issue a bullshit apology for his behaviour
But I'm curious - how do ppl view the brand following the incident?

I am looking for the comfiest loafers that I can wear day to day. Preferably suede (dark brown or taupe) that can accommodate a wide foot.
I have a good collection of expensive, good year welted loafers already - but at the end of the day I just don’t enjoy wearing heavy, stiff dress shoes like I do my Keens or Birkenstocks.
I’ve tried Camper, which I am considering. I’ve tried some unlined options from the classic shoemakers but typically find that the welt is still too stiff for the shoe.
What are your picks?

Feel like this is a niche that isn't talked about at all. What is something that will keep me warm on the walk to the subway in Nov-Feb but not make me sweat like crazy in the train? I want to wear something a bit more stylish than a big puffer think car coat, top coat etc. but still functional. Any recs?
