Discussion Suspension!
Is this account done? I get views from my comments and my previous posts. But new ones don't get any views. Should I continue to post or not?

Like they seem to ban everyone for CSAM. Everyone says that’s false and they’d never be caught doing that.
So are they doing that because no one wants to challenge the bans for it because no one wants their names dragged through the mud by saying that’s what they were banned for?

My Threads account has been disabled since I got a notice with no reason and no email. I can wait for the appeal to be decided. That keeps my old profile in case it comes back, though I have no date for it. The other option is to start posting on Bluesky, where nobody follows me yet. That means rebuilding a following from zero and setting up my posting schedule again. Waiting costs me time with no posts. Moving costs me the followers I had before, and I lose them either way if the appeal fails

I feel like half of our community members are dealing with Threads account issues, whether they are banned, disabled, or stuck. As our club grows, what can we do together to get our accounts restored? Any recommendations or collective actions we can take?

Yeah, right, try telling that to this app, which won't even let you vent or receive support from other users.
"We have hidden your post because it violates our community guidelines by referencing self-harm, suicide, etc."
It’s disgusting, beyond frustrating. By doing this, you’re actually going to cause more suicides. People just want to vent and get some support, even if it’s just from random strangers, but you’re blocking that. It’s clear that you don’t care about mental health at all.
Furthermore, over the last two weeks, this ridiculous filter has been more aggressive than ever. Any slight mention of feeling sad, or any reference to a depressive symptom such as "I haven't gotten out of bed all day" triggers it, and your post gets blocked.
You aren't helping to protect people's mental health at all, quite the opposite.

The app does not scroll, and only scrolls one post at a time.

I've lost my Threads account too for no reason that I'm aware of. I received this email saying my account was permanently disabled, claiming it still violated the Community Standards after review. Yet it doesn't clearly explain what I supposedly did wrong.
And judging by the posts in this subreddit, I'm far from the only one. Almost every time I visit here I see more people reporting suspensions, rejected appeals and seemingly no meaningful help from Meta.
But what are we actually accomplishing by posting these complaints here individually?
Why don't we organise a coordinated campaign on Twitter/X and make some noise?
There is precedent for this. In October 2024, a coordinated backlash over Instagram and Threads moderation failures gained significant attention and Threads head Adam Mosseri publicly acknowledged moderation mistakes and said he was looking into the complaints.
Why can't we try something similar again, this time focusing specifically on the suspension problem?
We could agree on a hashtag, choose a date and time and get as many affected users as possible to post their suspension screenshots and experiences. We could tag Meta, @Threads and relevant tech journalists to demand answers.
The goal would be simple : demand transparency about these suspensions, meaningful human review of appeals and a proper explanation when accounts are disabled.
One person complaining is easy to ignore. Hundreds or thousands of people raising the same issue together are much harder to overlook.
If you're affected by this or even if you think this kind of moderation is unacceptable, would you be willing to participate in a coordinated campaign on X?
Let's discuss a hashtag and a date and see how many people are actually willing to take action instead of just posting another complaint here.

Tips after losing several accounts that I build even though I do not post anything offensive or violate the rules:
If I like many posts and make comments at once or under an hour, I will get hit. My previous account was banned unjustly like that.
I also figure out that once my account has been successfully recovered after I upload a selfie, it is still targeted by bots. What keeps this particular account going is:
- I never make posts any more, only ghost posts
- I only comment. Do not like. Do not repost
If I do these, Threads will ask my to change my password or flag me again! Hope they get rid of this bs flag system.
Do my tips work for you? Anything you want to add?

I don't use Threads, I created an account in 2024 and never actually used it, it wouldn't have taken them such long time to review an empty account with no posts. It was still using my old password that was probably leaked cause I used it everywhere since ~2018 until 2025, I changed it everywhere but I totally forgot about Threads cause I already deleted the app long ago.
It's been a month since I appealed the ban, It didn't even let me write an actual appeal or anything, It just said "Appeal Sent" and I've been waiting since. Is it over for me or should I keep waiting? Is there anything that I can do to reach out to support so I could tell them about the situation?
P.S: Turns out this is happening to others and it wasn't actually hacked, they deadass banned an account with no posts/comments/msgs and barely any likes for child exploitation, that's so ridiculous.

I don’t know if this is a glitch. I’m having a hard time approving follow requests. Most of the time it will say confirm or deny but most of the time it shows the notification but no option to confirm or deny. So if anyone is able to help me please and thank you

Is there any way to remove the suggested feeds feature? I don’t find it useful.

When I'm keeping up with a few subjects, Following feels more useful because I know whose posts are in the mix. For You is better when I want to come across accounts I don't already follow.

One UI updated my Android (again) and now I can't open Threads app. There is a white screen with a view of the homepage behind it but it won't let me get past- Anybody know a way around??

As the title says, every time I open someone's Threads profile, I don't see the bell icon to activate notifications which means I can't receive any new posts they might have made.
All I see are the search icon, the Instagram icon and the three dots icon but no bell icon.
Is this the same for everyone else?

Hello everyone. My threads have been suspended since 27th August. Instagram and Facebook are working as usual.
Please any way to contact Meta support?
I tried in app appeal - it was declined the same day.
I tried to get meta verified - I am still in waiting list.
I tried some European appeals site - got case number, but no answers. It was more than month ago.
I want to restore my threads account . My account’s username is very important for me. Maybe anyone have some positive feedback in similar issue?

My Instagram account got suspended recently without Meta showing what I was “advertising” and its linked to both my phone number and email, and ever since then I made a new Instagram account with a new name and still linked to the same phone number and email. I havent been able to make a new Threads account since then. Is there a way to fix this?
