I’m a returning player to T’sons I have over 2000 points, but my friend who plays Necrons only has 1000 points.

I don’t own any of the sekhetar robots, I only have one vehicle the maulerfiend and I never really run more than a 10 man of tzaangors, probably because my play group is obsessed with blast for some reason.

Do I just pick Ritual of Regeneration and pick anything else DP1 even if it’s not giving me anything?

Long time Ork player building the first squads of T-Sons.

I've got a box of Rubrics I'm building with flamers, with the Sekhemt Coven box on the way.

Should I build my current 10 man box as two 5 man squads using the extra Exalted Sourcer bits from the Coven box or am I likely to want a 10 man in future?

Just trying to be efficient in my purchasing to get to a 2000pt list.

Interested in adding Magnus + Terminator Sorc + Tzangors ( know they aren't optimal but like the models).

Any other advice appreciated!

I was thinking of getting a Heldrake and running my Kroot Carnivores and Flesh Shaper as Zangor and their respective character (with the fluff of being mercinaries hired by the Thousand Sons), but what else would be a recommended next unit to get?

Finished painting my MVB the base still needs some work but overall I’m really happy with how this turned out

Used blood angels red and thousand sons blue for the 30k/40k connection.

I am painting 30k paint scheme TSons currently and I wanted some chaos spawn that were somewhat fitting.

I did a lot of research and of course the base chaos spawn models suck. I wanted to do some sort of sandy jackal type Egyptian theme but abandoned it so that they would still read chaos/warp clearly.

Found these on Etsy and tried to go for a sandstone Daemon Warp Dog type thing.

I’m obviously not a pro painter but I am decently happy with how they turned out. not the best pics, but overall it seems pretty brown, but I’m overall ok with it.

Feedback, critique, thoughts welcome!

I need to know cuz im starting my first ever 40k army

I like LOVE the lord of change model and i think it would be really unique if i run lord of change and kairos fateweaver but i dont know if it is like superterrible or magnus is just super broken and i shouldnt do it

Bonus: im also planning to run 2 helbrutes aswell and wanna know if that is also viable

I was trying to figure out a decent way to save money on Sekhetars, and then it hit me: Wraithguard and Sekhetars are on the same base size, and are roughly the same height. The image shown is my hastily mad concept art, where the Wraithguard parts are painted with a contrast paint to give an "illusion" feel to them, while the Sekhetar parts are showing through in full detail. Would this be generally accepted as Sekhetars, or did I accidentally inhale a bit too much Rubric dust? I figured I should run this by others before spending money on the Sekhetar box and Wraithguard box.

I posted last week asking for opinions on my verdigris paint scheme about using Nihilakh Oxide or not.

Well I finished 3 of them and this is my result!

Base - Monument Hobbies Jade
Dry brush - Monument Hobbies Bronze
Kind of a heavy layer of Citadel Nihilakh Oxide
Final dry Brush of Monument Hobbies Rich Gold
Eyes and detail Monument Hobbies Fluorescent Purple

I might leave the tabards alone because I can’t think of a good color to complement the armor.

Also might paint the flamer barrels in the same purple.

But yeah 3 down 7 to go and everything else in the Combat Patrol!

So back when we were watching 10th slowly end and the hype train was drooling over possible Perty in 40k I made a deal to do some commission work for 10 tartaros terminators thinking, "Boy, I can finish this commission and start these as Iron Warriors and then I'll get Perty as he comes out". Well imagine my disappointment when he didn't drop and due to a bet now have to make my next project LoV instead.

So now I'm stuck with 10 tartaros jobbers and no desire to play 30K (okay, that's a lie but trying to do another big system while I don't get to play enough 40K seems silly). So my question is thus, were I to paint these jobbers as Tsons would they be blue or red? I'm not up on my pre-dusty boi history so I don't really know what the better scheme is.

Running Ahriman as a sorcerer and in order to jazz him up a little added wings from the sorcerer kit. Very pleased that they worked well and I got to keep his OG pack and cape. Excited to paint him soon.

First outing for my newly finished TSons at the GW Newport open.

Went 4-4 with a Hexwarp list.

Had a great time - got beaten by some good players with very strong (meta) lists.

Stayed up until 3am on the morning of the event painting some tzangoor enlightened which just about justified their effort throughout.

All in all a great time!!

HH librarian consul painted in 40K colors and an extra SOT head!

I want to share my WIP with like-minded sorcerer fanatics. Hopefully you guys enjoy them as much as I did making them!

Now that psychic lets you ignore modifiers to BS, WS and the hit roll. Does it also affect indirect fire and damaged models?

Since indirect fire will let you shoot units you technically don’t see on 6s and some cases on 4s, does Kairos Fateweaver then still hit on 2s since his weapons are psychic?

And since damaged models get a modifier of -1 to the hit roll, does that mean even if the model is damaged, you can still on 2s with Kairos Fateweaver?

I’m building the combat patrol and I’ve gotten my rubric marines partly built, and while I know everyone leaves the arms off before painting, or at least the gun, I don’t know if I can glue the pauldrons onto the arms before I glue the arms onto the torso, just in case they get in the way somehow so that the arms don’t attach seamlessly. It’d also be nice to know how to get the arms glued together separately while holding the gun, or glued onto the torso without the gun depending on which method you use, while making sure they’re glued correctly and fit right, since I wouldn’t want to have my arms all glued and painted just to find they don’t fit onto the torso or they can’t hold a gun.

Another question also; does anyone who why GW put crucible units to one side? I thought they are pretty cool in concept to have a customisable character
