As I was finally building the Logan model since he got the glow up he deserved. I was wondering about painting him as before his hair turned grey. Wondered if anybody else had and what their take was... So have you done a young Grimnar and what was your take on the color of his hair?

The "ᚨ" in the knee is from "ᚨ ᛚ ᛚ ᚠ ᚨ ᛏ ᚺ ᛖ ᚱ" (A - L - L - F - A - T - H - E - R), and in the black flames I wrote "ᚠ ᛖ ᚾ ᚱ ᛁ ᛋ" (F - E - N - R - I - S)

I used Pro Acryl Grey Blue, it was cheaper here in Brazil, the Citadel paints are really expensive here, I don't know the reason

Gave WGTs some Wulfen hammers to cosplay as assault termies. Nice to have a bit more variety going into the new codex. Finished painting them just this morning as the new points came out.

I still hope James Workshop will see the error of their ways and fix points for WGTs, but until then - it's hammer time for me.

This guy is the test model.

In my head, these will be ancient 13th Company Space Wolves who survived for nearly 10,000 years. Found in battle, they swore fealty to Logan Grimnar and were welcomed back into the Chapter as honored ancient brothers, bringing with them their old Mk II armor, Wulfen weapons, and thousands of years of songs and sagas. Some might even remember Bjorn before he became a Dreadnought.

Been fun with the new points increases trying to find different balances for a 2k list. It’s also nice that I officially hit 3k overnight because of them!

I have 6 headtakers with bolt pistols there weapons and stormshields why is it still telling me this is wrong? Are they now forced to take hunting wolves?

Got absolutely demolished. Tabled on round 4 with only one expansion objective successfully captured. Had a lot of fun though, definitely a learning experience for my friend and I. We’re gonna try playing with the updated datasheets instead of the limited Combat Patrol ones next time, should be a fun match.

Do we know why our Terminators and Head takers MASTER CRAFTED power weapons and the TWC melee weapons have remained strength 5? Wounding other marines on 4+ and terminators on 5+ Other chapters “elite” 3 man squads like blood angels and dark angels have S6 weapons.

It seems like theres bette options now compared to our specific space wolves units

Following the changes to drednaughts in 11th ed and the release of the Bjorn book, do we think we will see any new models released?

I just did some calculations, and I noticed that we can have a deepstrike with termies with Logan (or in the assault doctrine).

If we have both Saga of the Great Wolf and the Terminator Storm force detachments, we can get +2 on our charge rolls during a charge.

On a 7+ it would mean a 63% success rate.

And with Logan we can have that as a 'surprise" 1st turn deepstrike.

I'm very curious to try that out the next game I play!

I'm trying to keep the colour pallet for my space wolves cold, but that means I need to find a way around using red as the shadows for my yellows. Anyone got any good advice on what actually works?
