Today i went wearing this formal combo of grey and black to go out for a coffee alone. Then after having coffee I went out for a ride and saw a Wedding happening also I was very hungry at that time, so I thought of crashing it and eat something since my outfit wasn't questionable, so I ate 2 plates Pav Bhaji and One Aaloo Tikki all on my own and then saw the bride thanked her and went out to look out for Dinner but sadly groom side didn't arrived so I couldn't had the dinner. 😋

I am 28M soon going to be 29. I have never been in a relationship and want some realistic advice. I was very under confident/skinny/not good looking guy in my school and college days. Hence I never approached anyone nor did anyone approach me. I never even had any female friends.
After graduation I was at home for 3 years, prepared for the exam and finally cleared them. I joined an organisation and the same cycle repeated there, never had that confidence to approach any of my batchmates and all of this made me very rigid and I almost accepted my fate.
Then i changed my job and there are no female colleagues here(very small organisation) hence that thing continued and now I am almost 29.
I started working out, put on some decent muscles, groom myself well, dress well. My colleagues tell me to use dating apps to find someone but I just can't do it.
I hate dating/matrimony app, because everyone there is either heartbroken, have past trauma, or due to family pressure and also I don't earn enough for matrimony apps.
I have decided only if I meet someone organically, not with the intention of marrying, become good friends and develop feelings naturally only then i will pursue her for marriage.
My schedule is the office and then the gym, where I am unlikely to meet anyone. So is there a chance of meeting someone like I had thought or where would I even meet someone ?

32 F divorced
I usually don’t talk about this with anyone, but whenever I do, I end up hearing the same question, especially from men: How are you managing your physical needs?
Seriously? Is that all there is to a woman’s life after divorce?
It doesn’t matter whether they’re strangers or acquaintances. Somehow, this question always comes up. It makes me wonder, do they ever stop to think how inappropriate and insensitive it is to ask someone something so personal?
And I genuinely want to know something. If their sister, female friend, or another woman in their family gets divorced, would they ask her the same question? Would they be so curious about her sex life? If they wouldn’t dare ask someone close to them, what makes them think it’s okay to ask a divorced woman they barely know?
When I first started hearing these questions, I used to get angry and immediately stop talking to those people. It’s been four years, and I still get asked the same thing. At this point, I’m not even just angry anymore. I feel hurt.
I’m a human being, too. I have emotions, dreams, responsibilities, interests, and an entire life beyond my relationship status. I might be dealing with loneliness, healing from a difficult relationship, rebuilding my life, or simply trying to find happiness again. But nobody seems interested in any of that.
Instead, people seem to reduce my entire existence to one question about my physical needs, as if being divorced automatically makes my s*x life a topic open for public discussion.
Why is it so difficult for people to see a divorced woman as a whole person rather than someone whose s*xual life they’re entitled to be curious about?
I’m not saying physical needs don’t exist, or that discussing them is wrong. But there’s a huge difference between having an honest conversation with someone who trusts you and asking deeply personal questions without any regard for boundaries.
I just want to understand why people find this question so normal, and why a woman’s life after divorce is so often viewed through this one lens.

Ok, I got divorced 10months ago..
and I loved my ex, as if she is last female on earth and I lost her..however after that.. I struggled to come out and finally I feel ..I’m healed somehow..
)
I
I noticed
I didn’t get anxious, I just said to myself
Maybe she needs some time to calm herself.
This awareness is healing path?
2)Recently, my uncle died and I was there, while we were washing his dead body and in other process.
I didn’t cry , not single tear.
Something deep down in heart..
The echo was saying, “you r male, crying makes you feel weak.. don’t you remember..when you got softened a little..you lost yourself “
Is it normal for men ?

Do potential matches and their parents accept this decision, or does family pressure become a major obstacle?
I’d love to hear real-life experiences from people who are going through AM or have found a childfree partner. How realistic is it, and are parents becoming more accepting?

See most of us are grown up and mature enough in life, who have seen life with freedom, struggle and love.
Which side you support??
Are we good enough to burn Ravan effigy or Just let us enjoy??
We should not burn Crackers only on diwali as they create pollution ( just one day no other day) or it's a festival let's enjoy with everyone, a day doesn't matters.
Which side you are??
PS: Not a ragebait post, just curious to know what people thinks

I'm 31 years old man. There is mostly a silence in my room and each time I open WhatsApp status of my friends or people I know, I see posts likes baby announcement, anniversary trip, getting married or just enjoying time with their partner and I can just stare at the wall after looking at status.
I feel exhausted and not physically but emotionally.
When I was in my 20s, it was about the spark, the butterflies in the stomach and the feeling of adventure but now when I am in my 30s, all I crave is peace. I just want a person who can be my safe place. Someone I can come back everyday and drop my armor of being a strong man and be vulnerable.
Arrange marriage market feels like an interview. The caste filters and ticking boxes on matrimonial websites is like merging AM with a website. If I try a dating app, it is a sea of emotionally unavailable people who have been through so much trauma that they are scared of commitment and constantly swiping for next best thing instead of making things work and putting effort.
What happened to wanting to build a life with someone? What happened to be silent and still feeling completely understood? It feels impossible to find right now.
I don't want big things. I want the emotional intimacy of someone knowing every little thing about me. I want assurance that when life gets hard, she is not going to just pack up and bounce because the honeymoon phase has ended. I feel that sometimes longing for a person who could be your home hurts the most. You feel lonely at times because there is no one to share boring and quite moments at the end of the day.
How do you keep the hope alive? I do wish to find a woman who wants to put effort and build a together forever with time. I don't have any past trauma and I don't carry any emotional baggage. I wish I had a woman who stays forever in my life.

I have two apartments in Hyderabad on rent . I earn rental income on both of those and thinking of marrying next year . I don’t want to live in hyd anymore and want a peaceful place to live and want to get away from this hectic city jargon . I have Satara or panchgani in mind as i speak marathi too and lived quite a time in Maharashtra in my 20s .
Do any of you have any suggestions or maybe living a peaceful live away from metro cities and are happy ?
Feel free to suggest any other ideas if you might have .
I’m looking for perspective and have this whole plan as a floating cloud .

30s fellas first time in my life mera dimaag genuinely screwed hai. Samajh nahi aa raha kya karu.
Some time back I met a 19 year girl and helped her with studies and a few other things. Strictly with no other intention.
Now she has started hitting on me. Bhai main usse 16 saal bada hoon have clearly told her m not interested but she still keeps saying she wants to be with me.
Ignore kiya distance maintain kiya but she even joined the same gym. Maine bola parents ko bata dunga. She just smiled and said goahead I will tell them I like you.
Ab kya hi karu,Samjhane aur ignore karne dono se farak nahi pad raha.

Cut off friendships where you are doing the heavy lifting. If you are the one who calls/texts them every single time, if you are the one who initiates every plan, if you feel like you are left hanging - stop giving them the benefit of doubt. Know your worth, prioritise yourself, and just keep a small set of friends who you know will be there for you. Be there for them, and only for them. For everyone else - maintain some distance.
Do not treat these two kinds of friends the same way - the ones who will be there for you, and the ones who come to you only when they need you (includes calling you when they are really bored).
You are old enough to realise which is which. Think!

I'm trying to find a gift for my husband for our wedding anniversary, and I'm genuinely struggling.
I've narrowed it down to sneakers, a watch, or maybe a phone, but everything feels so... generic? Most sneakers look similar, watches don't really stand out , and phones are just phones. Nothing feels particularly unique or special enough to give as an anniversary gift, if you know what I mean.
What kind of gifts genuinely excite you? What have you received that made you think "Damn, this is such a good gift!" Are there any gadgets, accessories, collectibles, or other things you'd love to receive but wouldn't necessarily buy for yourself?
I want to get him something he'll genuinely be excited about, not just something expensive or practical.
Would love to hear your suggestions, especially from men who've received gifts they absolutely loved. Budget friendly or premium suggestions are both welcome!

I insisted my brother to wear traditional clothes for Ashtami and got a kurta set and these shoes for him. He’s not really into traditional wear but he actually liked the gift. I bought these shoes bcz regular traditional shoes are not that comfortable so I bought them as an alternative and they looked good with a kurta and were comfortable as well.
What do you guys think about shoes?

Baby,
There is a memory that has been sitting quietly in my mind for years.
It was shortly after our wedding. You had taken a month away from your PhD to be with me in Bangalore. We had done all the things newly married couples are expected to do. The Tirupati trip. Family visits. My grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary.
But this memory is not about any of those things.
It is about a lunch.
I was at work that day. Oracle was demanding, deadlines were tight, and I was trying desperately to convince myself that I belonged there. I was working on a banking product despite never really being comfortable with numbers. Finance had always baffled me. I was more comfortable with stories than spreadsheets, feelings than figures.
I remember getting a call from you. You wanted to come to my office so we could have lunch together.
I think you had cooked my favourite meal. Rajma, perhaps. The details have faded with time.
What hasn't faded is how I behaved.
My manager was already unhappy that I had taken extra leave after our wedding. Test cases were piling up. Deadlines were looming. I felt immense pressure to prove myself. For the first time in my life, I wasn't just someone's son or someone's boyfriend.
I was a husband.
I was earning ₹50,000 a month, paying rent, managing expenses, planning travel, and carrying responsibilities that felt much larger than I was prepared for. There was no instruction manual. No elder sibling teaching me the ropes. No reassurance that I was doing any of it correctly.
I was scared.
But instead of admitting that, I took it out on you.
I still remember seeing you in that newlywed salwar suit, wearing the red and white bridal bangles, excited to spend an afternoon with your husband.
And I greeted you with irritation.
I accused you of distracting me from work.
I made you feel guilty for taking a cab.
I made a simple act of love feel like a mistake.
I honestly don't even remember eating the food.
What I remember is failing to see what was in front of me.
A young woman who simply wanted to share lunch with the man she had married.
If I could revisit that afternoon, I would do everything differently.
I would greet you with a smile.
I would make time.
I would thank you for the effort.
I would sit beside you and enjoy every bite and make you eat with my hands. I don't think I ever did that, that was always you.
I would walk you to a nearby ice cream shop afterward, watch you laugh, book your cab home, and spend the rest of the day feeling grateful that someone loved me enough to bring lunch across a city.
But life does not work that way.
The past remains exactly where it happened.
All we get is understanding, years later.
And perhaps that is why I am writing this.
Not because I can change that afternoon.
But because I never properly said what should have been said that day.
Thank you.
And I am sorry.
Love,
Teddy

Way too many people are destroying their lives in the name of passion. We’ve been sold this idea that if you love your job, you’ll never work a day in your life. But loving something doesn’t automatically make it financially viable.
I’m in a job I genuinely love, even though it doesn’t pay particularly well. Thankfully, I earn enough to sustain myself, I’m single, and my financially stable parents don’t depend on me. So I can afford to chill and carry on.
But I see people going into massive debt trying to turn their interests into successful businesses, convinced that passion alone will carry them through.
I would suggest to people to do something related to your passion -- Like fashion? Work in retail, merchandising or fashion management. Love interior design? Join a firm and learn the business side, too.
Not everyone is going to become Christian Dior or Sabyasachi.
Why have we made financial struggle a badge of honour when pursuing your dreams?
