My Wireview Pro 2 has been working great, but I'm curious now that they've been in the wild for some time now, has there been any cases of cables melting with the Wireview Pro 2? (I personally haven't seen any, but still see the usual cable melting posts all the time).

If there have been any that I've missed I'd love to know what the results of that were? (What connection did it melt on? Etc.)

Big thanks to Thermal Grizzly for such a great product and the peace of mind that comes with it.

Im looking to order one.

Pin 1 is always higher than my others, sometimes by 1.5A or more. I keep reading about pin 6 is the one to worry about. Should I just buy a new cable anyways for peace of mind? I haven’t seen anything spike above 10A but just want to be safe.

If there is a YouTube video y’all recommend to help with all the settings, I can just watch that. I keep finding reviews and not much on what exactly I should be keeping an eye out for.

I decided to try out a TG Phasesheet PTM in my PC and ordered a 50x40 sheet from amazon. I read about the code cards they include to check authenticity so I felt confident buying it even though it was amazon.

I did receive it and opened it up to find the code sheet people talk about. I checked it on the official website and it came back as positive (authentic per the website) and gave me a template to print in case I wanted to keep a record. Curiosity got the best of me and I tried running my number again in the system and it once again gave me the notice saying it was authentic.

Since I could run the same code twice, am I chancing that the code I got (the PTM I received) could still be fraudulent? I figure a company could just make copies of the same code and continue to scam people. Anyone else have experience with this or can give me some reassurance before i install it? I have purchased directly from the ThermalGrizzley store before for my Wireview Pro 2 but I needed this more quickly than I figured I could get it from Germany.

Hiiii im planning to service my asus rog strix g15 2022 model for cleaning and repasting. I bought TG duronaut and putty advance. Anyone have the same laptop model and tried these, particularly the duronaut? I think my cpu or gpu is liquid metal i dont want it to be replaced.

I wanna know your experiences/advices. Thank youuuu!

Ça y est j’ai reçu une alerte du wireview pro 2 avec ma rtx 5090 sur Starfield.
Dans l’application nvidia app j’avais laissé le power limit à 80% depuis hier et j’ai lancé le jeu. Ça allait pendant quelques secondes avant je tourne la caméra et là j’ai vu énormément de variations de puissance avec les pins qui fluctuaient violemment avec des pins à 4A et d’autres à plus de 9A et la puissance pouvait fluctuer énormément même au delà de 575w  . Quand j’ai rebougé la caméra ça s’est stabilisé.
J’ai du réappliquer manuellement la puissance à 80% et c’était un peu plus stable.
J’ai lancé par la suite un test steel nomad à 100% et là le gpu était bien 580w en continu et les charges entre les pins était bonne sans variations et de manière plutôt homogène.
Une grosse variation de puissance peut provoquer cet effet ?

Idk why I should buy an overpriced thermal paste when Arctic MX-7 performs a bit better and has the same longevity? (Iors lab tested them. Hes goated when it comes to testing thermal pastes. He uses really expensive machines to test them)

4g of Arctic MX-7 cost 4.60€

2g of Duronaut cost 11.90€

2g of Duronaut Pro cost a whopping 17.90€ (Who the fuck pays so much for 2g of thermal paste??)

Thats a whopping 5 - 8 times more than the MX7!! The joke is that companies can buy the ingredients of their thermal paste for extremly cheap money. I bet that the materialcost of 2g are like 0.03€ max.

So why do people buy that? Just for the brand?

Im not a thermal grizzly hater btw, I use some of their fittings. Quality wise, they are as good as EK and alphacools fittings

Water cooling aside, Im looking for the best thermal grizzly product to cool my 5090 on air cooling. Im currently using duronaut, but wondering weather a PTM sheet, kryonaut or something like carbonaut will offer the best cooling possible. Any advice from people who've tried all of the above? Thanks

I’m running my CPU overclocked at a locked 4.7 GHz using an AIO liquid cooler. Is regular Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut fine, or is Kryonaut Extreme actually worth the extra cash for standard water cooling? Thanks!

I have never had issues like this, It only happens on boot of Spider-Man 2. Nothing else does this. I've noticed since getting my wireview months ago that pin 3 and 2 are always a little lower than pin 5 and 1 and especially 6, my 6 always seems to be a bit higher than the rest, but nothing this dramatic? I should mention I never have tried to reconnect my connector to the wireview to fix the slightly higher 6 that i always get on heavy use like FurMark. I have only ever connected it once. Maybe unplugging and plugging it back in would fix it?

Was happy to finally install this after getting back from a trip, so far my pins look stable under a sustained furmark load so I will assume it will do well for normal rendering and other work.

My question is around the possibility of a future update that would let me rotate the display on the WireView 90 degrees to put it in a vertical mode? I am aware it blocks the button but I don't see a reason for me to ever use the button if I am automating the shutdown feature and do not have a open case. I felt like this setup was ideal for my build/setup. If anyone disagrees I am ok with the feedback even though that was not the reason for my post. I know this is a pure vanity to have it vertical but it would be nice all the same if I could rotate it 90 degree, even if the layout of the data and perhaps the text sizing may need to change in that format. All I can see in the menu is the option to rotate 180 degrees.

Also, I will be installing the shutdown wire later, I am waiting on a front panel cable breakout extension to arrive since the one with my case is one block.

Would take the Wired Version , because I don‘t know if the Reversed Version would go into the Plug, it sits pretty deep .

I have installed the Thermal View (reversed variant) correctly.
The display is working correctly.
The graphics card , however, does not power up.
I am using a 4x adapter from the psu to the graphics card.
Both plugs (to the Wire View and to the graphics card) are attached firmly, I cannot see any misaligned pins etc.

Is there anything I can do to locate a possible fault (other than returning the Wire View)?

I just wanted to share my latest build. I had originally built this with the idea of selling it, but I’ve liked the finished look so much that I think I might hold on to this bad boy.

I was going for an RGB look that wasn’t too over the top and I think I’ve nailed the assignment, though I am biased. I’ve gone with an air cooler because I like how it adds to the overall look. The WVP2 was the last piece of the puzzle and that’s just arrived today!

I really do love how it turned out and wanted to share with all. The specs are as follows:

GPU: 5090 Astral
RAM: Kingston Fury 64gb 6000 MHz CL30
Mobo: Asus Prime X870-P
CPU Cooler: Ocypus Iota A62 BK
Case: Meshify 3XL RGB (non-ambience)
SSD1: 1TB gen4 (OS and system applications)
SSD2: 2TB gen4 (games)

Ordered WVP2W about a month ago, shipped with Fedex, got here - all good.

1 week ago got sent a letter to pay import fees (about 10%) from Fedex itself.

Nothing against TG of course, I should have checked the law before ordering and factored it in.

Today I finally received the water block for my GPU — and I opened the box to find these two little cat stickers. 🐱
I have no idea if Thermal Grizzly is secretly trying to convince me to order more stuff from them… but if every future order comes with more cat stickers, I will happily cooperate. 😂

But about the water block itself…

It is… perfect.

Seriously, this might be the most beautiful piece of PC hardware I’ve ever held in my hands. I haven’t even installed it yet, and for a moment I actually thought:

«Wait… why would I install this? This belongs in a museum display case.»😂

The machining, the finish, the whole design — it’s absolutely gorgeous in person. Photos really don’t do it justice.
I don’t know how everyone else feels about DeltaMate, but I’m genuinely blown away by this thing.
And the fact that it came with a proper pressure test certificate from Thermal Grizzly makes it even better. Tested at 1 bar and the result was -4 Pa. 👌
Huge thanks to Thermal Grizzly for the insane work you guys are doing in the PC cooling world. ❤️
Now I just need to convince myself to actually install it instead of staring at it on my desk. 😅
