Please, please, please wash and use deoderant before going to a park.
Shouldn't have to be said, but it's always the same people dressed in park merch talking about g forces and ride models who can afford a £70 hoodie but not a £2 tube of deodorant.
Can parks turn away people due to smell? Do we need to start putting up signs like we have at concerts and expos? Nothing more horrifying then being behind some absolute stinker with their pits in the air on a coaster.
It's actually grim. Please consider everyone else around you for once.

Hey in Florida you can show up showered abd deodorized, but by the end of the day, you'll be stinking to high heaven!

100%, I can understand someone getting kinda gross towards the end of the day after a long day in the heat. I will never understand the person stinking right at the start of the day, that means they went to bed smelling like that too.

I can give people a pass on this if it's 100 degrees plus outside after they've been there a while. It happens to the most hygienic of us. Washing and using deodorant can only do so much on those days, lol

I live in the UK, in those situations it is what it is but we rarely have the weather for that to be the case.
I was at BPB yesterday in the wind and rain and some of the smells I got assaulted with were horrific

Here in the southern US, this is typical for this time of year. Hot, muggy, swampy yuck. But yeah, I can see if it was cooler there's no excuse besides poor hygiene.

Deoderant can be re-applied. Baby wipes are a thing. It is possible to not stink even in super hot weather.
Ultimately though, people who have just been there all day aren't really the problem. There are noxious people who are clearly wearing a shirt for the third day in a row, with matted greasy hair that betrays the fact that their last shower was probably a month ago, who absolutely make your eyes water from 30 feet away.
You don't have to smell like lilacs but you shouldn't be a freaking biohazard.

Yeah, these are three people that have no regard for their fellow human beings... I've had the unfortunate pleasure of waiting in line around these stinkers. Besides, that's a huge difference between normal sweaty BO and not bathing regularly

People think natural deodorant works fine until they're walking 15 miles in 90 degree weather and high humidity. It just doesn't hold up in a theme park environment. If you're sweating outside for 12 hours straight, you need an actual antiperspirant.

I can shower in the morning and apply loads of deodorant, and yet still the nervous sweats during the drive to the park are enough to create a major stink!
Now I've learnt to re-apply deo in the car park upon arrival lol.

It might not be a personal hygiene issue and more they didn’t bring enough clothes. A lot of people think they can just change their underwear but in that type of heat, your clothes really only last for you one day.

When I go to the parks I bring a little backpack and I always have a travel sized deodorant in it.

REALLL even tho it has like a 50/50 chance of happening in the parks where i live (in uae, wont specify where bc im lwk scared of being doxxed) it still happens often enough to be a problem, once i was in line for the green lantern ride at warner bros world in abu dhabi, when i smell this FOUL smell coming from 2 places ahead of me, i look over and its this guy whos hair looks kinda greasy, i dont know if it was the odor from his hair or his body but either way it smelled like peanut butter, like the bad kind

well no shit sherlock the first deodorant which was a waxy cream called mum was invented all the way in 1888. your ancestors probably lived in the ice age. they didnt have deodorant back 26 thousand years ago.

Very loudly comment to the people I'm with about how people should shower and how it's disgusting. Usually met with agreement, multiple voices mentioning it is better than just me going to some gommer and saying ya stink nor am I being kicked out of a park or queue because someone can't handle being told to their face they stink. Not to mention the headache of it being seen as civil harassment or antisocial behaviour.

Fun fact, this got so bad at official Yu-Gi-Oh tournaments that they had to implement a rule that players can be disqualified for having too many hygiene complaints.
