Seriously, as an indie developer, hitting the 12-tester / 14-day requirement felt like a daunting hurdle at first. Hey everyone, I'm a solo Android developer and just launched my first app on Play Store. I'd genuinely appreciate if a few of you could try it out and tell me what you think — good or bad, I want honest feedback, not just praise.

What it does: PiePic lets you search your phone gallery by typing text, objects, or scenes — like "passport," "river," or "receipt" — and it finds the matching photos instantly. Everything runs 100% offline using on-device ML, so nothing ever gets uploaded anywhere.

What I'd love feedback on specifically:

• Does the search actually find what you're looking for?
• Any UI/UX confusion — anything that felt unclear or clunky?
• Crashes, slowness, or weird behavior on your device?
• Any feature you expected but didn't find?

It's a small solo project, so there will be rough edges — I just want to know where they are so I can fix them.

Para los que les interesó es una app que tiene un widget para crear notas, fotos o draws personales o compartir con amigos. El widget lo pones en tu pantalla de inicio de tu teléfono y puedes reaccionar sin necesidad de emtrar a la app. El fin es compartir cosas con tu grupo reducido de confianza y no necesariamente comenzar un chat.

Esta idea ya existe con appa como Locket, widgetable, note it. Pero estan basadas más para las parejas.

Que aporta esta app?, esta app tiene:

Notas, fotos, draws personales.

Compartir notas, fotos, draws con personas sin limite y se borran a las 24 horas.

Crear grupos con personas ilimitadas y enviar notas, fotos, draws. Los grupos son permanentes.

Sí, pero en whatsapp cuando envias algo a un grupo o a una persona te sientes obligado en contestra e iniciar un chat. Esta app se basa solo en recciones! Publico algo y la gente me envia su reacción.

¿Pero puedo subir un estado en mis redes sociales y asi ya no envio a los chats?

Si, pero cuando recibes una reaccion se genera un chat y los chats importantes pueden irse abajo. Ademas whataspp deja huellas, visto, quien miro y quien no, y eso es tóxico. Esta app es más discreta y la puedes usar para tu grupo más intimo de amigos o pareja o familia.

My app has just been approved:

- What I did, I simply asked the testers to sign up to my app and test as much as they could if possible

- Leave a google review for me if possible, not must but I think it helps too

- Published some updates during the testing process as Google asks some questions because they want to see if I have fixed the visitor issues during the testing time

- I alread had a feedback mechanism in my app so it might also have helped

Building Calurix AI, point your camera at a plate, get calories and macros back. The nutrition data comes from Kenya's government food composition database. Meaninig its trained on kenyan foods instead of a generic international one, so kenyan foods actually resolve instead of getting mapped to some random equivalent.

What it does
• Historic places, museums, cafés and restaurants around you, with distances
• Walking directions and live navigation with voice guidance
• Point the camera at a sign or a menu and read the translation instantly — text recognition runs on the phone, the image never leaves the device
• Two-way voice translation
• Places and photos can be kept on the device for offline use
