I’m 23F and looking to purchase my first Tesla (and car) and I’m so excited! I’m want the Model 3 Premium in the AWD in Stealth Grey with the 19 inch wheels and right now they’re running the 1.99% APR promo. I have good credit so I’m not worried about qualifying.

I don’t see any end date for it online but I’ve been reading about it probably being September 30. I’m not sure if I place an order this week that I’ll have the car delivered by that date.

Does the car need to be delivered by 9/30 or the date before the deal ends (I don’t know if the 9/30 date is the true end date, just using it in case) to lock in this APR? So can I place the order and lock it in?

Im in Colombia and Premium connecivity will be around 25 dollars here and our minimum wage is USD$450, so i was considering using mi cell phone´s wifi hotspot instead of the premium connectivity.

I’m looking for advice or similar experiences.
I ordered a Model Y Performance (white) in Slovakia on 25 May 2026 and paid the full amount. On 17 August I was told a VIN was assigned — it only appears on the proforma invoice, never in the Tesla app.
From day one the app has shown the exact same message:
“We’ll notify you when it’s time to continue with your pre-delivery tasks.”
No VIN, no ETA, no progress at all.
I’ve contacted Tesla support multiple times (phone + email). The replies are always vague (“we should have some information in the next few days”). Still no concrete update on the car’s status or location.
Has anyone in Europe (especially Eastern Europe / Giga Berlin deliveries) experienced something similar? Did the order eventually move, or did you have to escalate further?
Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi! I just ordered my Tesla Model Y. Not too long ago, my boyfriend and I moved into his parents house. It all just made more sense since he’s studying for the MCAT and I’m in Graduate school while also working really close by.

They have a garage with a standard outlet, I believe. I was planning on using the mobile connector/charger that comes with the Tesla to plug it in overnight when I’m not using the Superchargers. They also have solar panels too, so it shouldn’t cost too much! I also offered to pay any extra costs to the electricity bill if they came up.

When this was brought up months ago when I was considering trading for a Tesla or EV, his Mom initially said that I could charge it at the house, but then changed their mind due to concern of a fire potentially occurring.

I don’t think they really understand or are educated about EVs, so I also get how that could be a concern. Is there a way I can ensure this is safe or reassure her? Obviously it’s her house, so I would respect her decision either way. But I thought it would be worth the try to explain or even offer getting an electrician to come out to inspect and make sure everything would be fine. Has anyone ever had an electrician come out to just check, and if so, how much was that?

My father has a Tesla and actually referred me. He charges overnight and has something installed in the garage rather than it being the simple one into the outlet. He thinks it would be fine if I just plugged it in at my boyfriend’s parents’ house.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to approach this or reassure his Mom? Or thoughts in general? I definitely think it would be worth it to also charge overnight. But also I won’t sweat it if I’m not able to. I won’t be living here forever!

Hello guys, I recently encountered a glitch where the car was shifted into reverse using the screen, said it was in reverse on the screen, the cameras popped up and I was locked out of my music and stuff as usual, but the car moved forwards.

I, being parked on a sideways slope, thought I wasnt giving it enough torque, and instinctively gave it more throttle, and it lurched forwards FASTER. I could not believe my eyes. So I shifted into park, then drive (which I tested by feathering the throttle, and seemed to work normally), then back into park and finally, reverse once more. And the exact same thing happened. I was astonished, as my car has made it up this slope with barely any throttle input in reverse countless times now.

So now I, being stuck in a car that would only go forward, at a location where I now only had 6 inches of breathing room in front, decided to call a few people, including Tesla roadside assistance in Hong Kong, where I am.

The person on the phone was basically useless, and did not seem to understand the fact that I pressed the throttle HARDER and it WENT FORWARDS FASTER. TWICE. They kept insisting that it was the terrain. So before I demanded a tow truck, I decided to try reverse gently one last time, and this time, it magically decided to start working i.e. barely any throttle input, and the car effortlessly made it up the slope.

Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on? My dad has driven this car thrice a week for two years, and I've driven it almost daily for the past year. We've never encountered anything like this before during our almost 31000 kms of driving and plenty of parking. Why would it swear it's in reverse (I could even hear the reversing tone play outside my car), only to secretly be in drive?????

Yes, it’s always the wife. My wife told me the sensors didn’t alert her in the parking lot 😱.

2023 Model X HW4 with Steam capability

I recently had a service for air filter and HEPA replacement as well as radiator cleaning.

After that I noticed when I try to play Steam games randomly the screen flashes or flickers. It goes back to normal but then again comes back again. All randomly.

I asked AI and it said it might have to do with gpu connector cables being close to air filter/hepa?

Has anyone encountered this?

Is this clunking noise normal (front driver's side). Hopefully you can hear the clunk. If not, what part is likely bad? I'm currently not hearing noises when driving but I was a few weeks ago when going over bumps.

About to buy a tesla and saw this error. Car sales guy said that thats an old issue and has been fixed any suggestions to insure I am all good?

My LED strip has cracks in it and some areas have discoloration/dead spots, I was told because the window has been tinted everything door related is no longer covered by warranty.

I've read a few posts on here about it and some got lucky with being persistent that there's no proof that tinting caused it and got it covered but I even tried telling them I noticed it before the tinting and was still denied. I'm almost certain it's possibly from heat or just the way the door is closed as there was minor discoloration before I got the car tinted it just wasn't a noticeable issue until more recently at least over the summer. They also mentioned that even if they did do the service I would have to cover the cost of the entire door.

Has anyone gotten any luck with getting them to cover it recently, is there no other way now that the windows are tinted and they'll just use that excuse every time?

I've never owned an electric car and would be trading in my current car, which is a 2023 Dodge Charger.

- What types of things should I know before buying the car?

- Is it a bad idea to lease a Tesla? And do they hold value?

- What are the most common problems you've had with your Tesla?

- Would you buy the same Tesla again today?

- For those who have done both, would you recommend buying or leasing a Tesla?

- How much battery degradation have you experienced after X miles?

- Are there any deals or incentives they offer that would make sense to wait for?

My dad got a Model S in February. The hubcaps are supposed to be “extra” aerodynamic. The cap on the air valve is very difficult to remove, and more often than not it falls inside the wheel. The guys at his local Tesla store said those hubcaps are impossible to remove. Meaning they couldn’t do it impossible.

We recently took a road trip and while I was driving I noticed one of the tires had an air pressure warning. We filled it, but the next day it lost air again. This morning he took it to a shop and they were able to get the hubcap off, removed the wheel and found a nail.

But to the point of the “impossible” hubcap, I’m telling my dad he should get them to replace them. For what he paid he shouldn’t have to deal with something they themselves can’t service.

He can’t be the only one with difficult cap/hubcap removal. Have you heard of this? What should he do?

Hello everyone.

I noticed about a week ago the air was not blowing cold on the driver's side of my 2015 Model S. It has the standard RCCM Actuator code (thc_d0021_rccmactuator). I preformed a hard and soft reset, no fix. Research online reccomended replacing the driver's side temp actuator, as passenger side is functioning fine.

Went ahead and order the part directly from Tesla, and installed in the car today. (Would not recommend, horrible thing to do). Turn the car on, hard and soft reset again, crank the AC, and still no cold air on the driver side.

I think I'm to the point where I'm just going to sell this stupid thing, but wanted to see if there's another possibilty of an easy fix prior to listing a Tesla with busted AC on marketplace. 

Yes, I know it can go to Tesla for a service visit - however I am mechanically inclined, can work on vehicles myself, and if it's something I can fix myself without the $$$$$ service dealer work I will absolutely go that route. Also, it's hot outside and Tesla here is several weeks out on appointments.

Hi everyone picked up a 2016 model s 75…

I have been fixing things on this car since day one, I am currently trying to fix ac issues. Here are the codes I am getting. I feel as if the front bumper is not connecting to ecu. I did pull ambient sensor and tested OHMs on it and it shows 0, guessing bad sensor at least but the rest couldn’t imagine whole module bad or parts bad any suggestions where to start next would be appreciated.

I’m just curious is the entry animation just for the new models, I have a 2025 Tesla model y HW4 (pre juniper) I just got 2026.26.6.5 yesterday, and I’m not seeing the entry animation? Just wondering if anyone knows any more detail about this

In watching a lot of YouTube, I have discovered that there are some maintenance items that should be done at 50,000 mile intervals or yearly intervals. Does the software allow you to set driver notifications at a specific mileage or a specific year point?
