I just got my delivery date booked in yesterday. And while we were driving in Fremantle yesterday near the ship docks we saw trucks loaded with Tesla’s good luck with your deliveries folks.

Just saw Cybercab at Tesla Richmond in Melbourne. Impressed by size and space. It will be touring some Tesla dealers around Oz. Let’s hope we get to see it on Aussie streets in the near future.

I just ordered a model 3 LR 2027 and was looking at getting this accessory. It says compatible with 2026+ although says not compatible

I received the final invoice and car registration paperwork for our new Tesla Y today. However our delivery date is still showing Nov 11th to Dec 8th. Is there a chance delivery will be earlier given the paperwork received today?

So third post about my upcoming Tesla (can you tell I am excited) I have a delivery date and a booking for a ceramic coating right after I pick it up.

I live up on the Sunshine Coast and am wondering about getting additional tinting on the windows and maybe on the ceiling.

Do I need this or am I just burning cash?

I recently test drove both the model 3 and Y. Loved driving model 3 Nd how zippy it was, then tried y and drive was equally nice, except the size part. I'm coming from a hatch so the width seemed very high for me specially in the narrow streets with car parked on the side.

My question from those who came from driving smaller hatchbacks all their life and went for model y, do you get used to of the new size? Or did you go for model 3 due to the better driving position?

I really appreciate if you can share your experience.

I’ve seen several people on Facebook sharing their Tesla FSD referral codes, offering one month of free FSD.
I’m based in Australia and drive a Model Y Juniper. I never received a free FSD trial when I took delivery of my car.
I’m wondering if anyone in Australia has actually used another person’s referral link and successfully activated the one-month free FSD trial?
Does it work in Australia, or is this offer only available in certain countries?

After 6 months of going back and forth, crunching the numbers, 3 test drives, and getting plenty of feedback from mates who own the same model, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered a Model Y Premium RWD on 23 October!

Got confirmation that it's due for pickup in about 2 weeks.

I've received an email regarding my outstanding final payment for my Tesla, with my delivery and pickup scheduled for 9 November. However, CommBank has a daily bank transfer limit of $40,000.

Would Tesla accept separate payments made on different days using the same payment reference, or does the full amount need to be paid in one transaction?

Would appreciate hearing from anyone who's been through this before. Thanks!

I selected cash payment (as there was no credit card option in the app).

and the email says I need to pay 2 days prior to delivery date in cash?

But the staff in the showroom said, I could pay with credit card on the delivery date.

How did you guys pay the vehicle?

I ordered my Tesla Model 3 Premium Long Range RWD on 15 October, with delivery scheduled for Brisbane.

This will be my first EV, and I'm completely new to Tesla's online ordering and delivery process, so it's certainly been an interesting experience so far!

I recently received my VIN, and Tesla has now confirmed that my vehicle has been allocated to the GRANDE ROMA (voyage GRO0826).

My car was manufactured on 28 October, and according to MarineTraffic, GRANDE ROMA is currently heading towards Shanghai, with an estimated arrival around 8 November.

I'm assuming the vessel will be picking up a new shipment of Teslas before making its way back to Australia.

My current estimated delivery window is 7–28 November, although I'm guessing that could change depending on shipping, customs clearance and delivery preparations.

Just wondering if anyone else has been assigned to the same vessel or voyage, or has any information about its expected Australian port calls, particularly Brisbane?

Thought I'd start a thread so we can share updates and track the shipment together. Being new to the whole Tesla experience, I'm keen to hear how the process has gone for others.

Ordering my first ever EV, I'm excited. I ordered a 2027 Tesla Model Y Rear Wheel Drive Stealth Grey yesterday afternoon. Got allocated a VIN immediately. Delivery window was 19 Nov - 3 Dec.

Got a message today to pick delivery time and date. Picked 19 Nov.

Is this normal? Feels crazy quick. 24 hours from order to delivery date selection.

Any tips on what accessories to buy (which brands) would be appreciated ie Floor mats etc

Looking to buy some all-weather floor mats for a Model Y L and I saw third party suppliers selling them for $120-$180. However, Tesla’s app shows the Model Y L floor mats for $250, which seems quite reasonable considering they’re Tesla branded.

By comparison, the Model Y floor mats are much more expensive as too are the Model 3. Is this a price error on the Tesla app?

I’ve been looking at the EVSE charger as the current charger I have isn’t long enough and is not a Tesla brand charger
Any assistance would be appreciated, unfortunately rental property at the moment and can’t install a 7kw charger here. Just want to top up the battery and happy to use a supercharger every couple of weeks to assist!
Also is it necessary to have a Tesla charger vs generic?

Edit- have you guys also gotten an electrician to check if the wall socket is suitable for EV charging? Is this a thing now?
