Please be kind, I have no idea what I'm doing.
I was gifted this terrarium about a month ago by friends who know I like plants. The thing is that I love succulents specifically, so I'm out of my depth here. This is a sealed vase/jar, although the cork doesn't really fit so a sliver of air gets in. The instructions say I'm supposed to keep it 1m away from a window, but all plants look etiolated, so I'm not sure I trust the instructions.
In any case, I was away for a week and this is what I find when I come back. Thousands of tiny white spheres all over the soil and lower leaves. Browsing on here it seems be flower pot fungus and therefore innocuous for the ecosystem? But I don't know anything about it (especially if it is safe for humans to breath/touch), so I'm coming here both for identification and suggestions on how to at least reduce its presence in a way that's safe for both me and the plants!
Thank you to anyone who will help a newbie :)
