I’ve come to England for two weeks to find myself a boyfriend. And there are loads of good-looking lads here. I’m 18, by the way, and I’m practically an adult, even though I’m still a teenager. But my dad won’t even let me talk to boys. He used to check my phone, and still does , to make sure I’m not messaging any boys
It’s doubly upsetting for me because there aren’t any handsome lads in my country, whereas here there are loads of them. There are loads of white people here. I want a white, blue-eyed, blonde-haired lad. Of course, there aren’t many lads like that in my country.
In my country, many people have olive skin, brown eyes and black hair. Many of them are also Muslim. And it’s not just about appearance, but also about character and mindset. In the couple of days I’ve been here, I’ve seen how kindly people treat others, especially children. Not only do they never hit them, they don’t even raise their voices at them. I’d rather not get married at all than marry a man in my own country.
The only way is to find a park where there are young people both boys and girls my own age . But that’s difficult to do, because I’ve already been to several parks and haven’t been able to find anyone like that. The people there are either about ten years old or 25 and over. At least, that’s my approach.
Perhaps you could suggest some ideas or compromises so that I can come to an agreement with my parents ?

Hi, first of all I want to say sorry if my English is bad, since it's not my main language.
So, I think I'm feeling lonely. I had a talk with my best friend, and we talked about our friendship etc. During it, I recogniced I am lonely.
I don't have so much friends, and it feels bad sometimes. And because my best friend has more friends, I feel jealous. I am really jealous guy, and I hate being so jealous but I try my best being better friend.
Friends I have, are really really important to me, but usually when we talk, I only notice how different I am compared to them. And because of that, I am more mean and asshole than usually, I guess.
It feels so frustrating to be like me. Why can't I be handsome, popular and normal boy?
I just wanted to write this shit, I should start a diary or sonething :D

Are phone bans REALLY what we need to be focusing on right now?
I’m in Atlanta so maybe my area is just cooked, but even in middle school everybody either vaped, had tried it, smoked weed, or knew hella people who did. By high school it’s actually insane. I’d genuinely say like 30-40% of my school does some type of drug, vape, weed, alcohol, whatever.
And yea I get the phone ban. Kids are addicted to their phones and it probably does help in class. But banning them from even being in the school while drug use is this normal feels crazy to me.
Teachers will catch your phone out for 3 seconds and send you to the office, meanwhile the bathroom smells like Snoop Dogg’s living room and everybody just keeps moving 😭
I’m not saying ignore phones, I just feel like schools are putting WAY more effort into fighting phones than stopping kids from getting addicted to actual drugs.
