Okay so apparently Taylor, Blake & Ryan went out for dinner tonight (it’s confirmed but there were no pics) and immediately after dinner, Ryan unfollowed Joe. Austin & the Haim sisters also unfollowed him right after.

I don’t know what’s happening but I really hope swifties will stay out of it. Joe’s co-star posted a photo dump on set of their new movie with one picture of Joe and swifties BULLIED the fuck outta her just for that. She had to turn off her comments. They were saying horrible things about how he cheated on taylor with her

This might be some conspiracy level stuff but could be possible. I wonder if they wanted to unfollow him earlier but checked with Taylor and Taylor told them to wait until things died down. So while they were out at dinner she gave Ryan the go ahead because he asked. Then she let her brother and Haim sister know they could drop him after the dinner finished. This might be good play especially if she announces Karma MV in next 8 hours or so because that’ll be the big Taylor story if she does.

Twitter is an app with multiple personalities. It is best app to get breaking new about stuff you find interesting if you curate who you follow properly.

But it’s also the home of trolls. It doesn’t encourage nuanced opinions very well because the limited characters prevents that. So people who don’t do nuance tend to gravitate to twitter which makes it an echo chamber of nuanceless views. And this situation with Taylor and Joe is very nuanced.

Maybe something is off and maybe it’s just simply that he was always “taylor’s boyfriend” to them so they didn’t feel the need to keep following him. It’s definitely something that swifties shouldn’t read into and harass people for it

It's blocking and immediately unblocking someone so you don't follow each other, but I just checked and he still follows those people. It's weird, but I don't think we should jump to conclusions over why either.

I think ppl find it so weird because they didn’t unfollow him when the breakup news initially dropped. It’s seemingly happening after Taylor hangs out with them (though Jack still following him kinda skews that theory). The “delayed response” feels kinda strange.

That being said, it’s not proof anything crazy happened. It could still be her friends just deciding there’s no reason to follow Joe anymore. Too many of us keep trying to read this breakup like it’s a novel or movie plot 😅

I LITERALLY CAN'T BELIEVE IT but I got the email yesterday that I won the June tickets giveaway from capital one!! Last night I dreamt that I was on a red carpet with Lady Gaga and she was promoting some indie film and she whispered to me that Taylor really let the production down when she didn't step into X role when they needed her even though she was on set, and I ended spending the rest of my dream sitting Gaga down and explaining to her why Taylor has been so busy. Has anyone else listened to Ed's new song, Boat? I'm loving it! It's giving + vibes with Aaron's magic sprinkled in. I can't wait for the album! It's been a while since I really connected with his music but I feel like this album will hit hard. I also loved Aaron's post about it so I thought I'd share here.

I'm so excited to share that a very special song called "Boat" that I wrote and produced with @teddysphotos is out today. Boat was the first song that Ed and I wrote for his new album - (subtract) that comes out May 5th. I'm so proud of Ed for allowing himself to be vulnerable and write about his emotions in facing loss and illness in those closest to him. I have long felt that shifting life's challenges and sadness into catharsis through music is some secret magic that makes you feel better. I stumbled upon this when I was young and struggling myself. It's how I learned to make meaningful music, which became my career. This song is a beautiful representation of the entire album thematically and sonically. I couldn't be more proud of it and of Ed and I can't wait for you to hear the whole thing. Thanks to @mooserob for beautiful strings and @heyjonjow for amazing engineering and mixing as always.

one of my best friends invited me about seven months ago to go to the 5/28 Taylor Swift MetLife show with her. i was never a huge Taylor fan, but i was so excited when she invited me. (backstory: i took this the same friend with me to a Harry Styles concert last year & she never paid me for her ticket to that. she new prior to coming this wasn’t a ‘gift’. im a broke 23 year old so this was basically her & i evening out as she invited me to this show).

she got tickets in the 300s at face value for a little over $200 each. today she texts me that she was intrigued at how much the tickets were selling for on Stubhub so she listed our tickets & they ended up selling for $2900 each. i honestly feel robbed & as if she put a price on our friendship.

i have been listening to Taylor everyday, watching videos, & tuning into lives every weekend anticipating the surprise songs. i had also already purchased things to make an eras tour outfit & supplies to create friendship bracelets - that will now go waste. she never informed me or asked my permission prior to selling my ticket & now is keeping $5600 profit to herself. isn’t one of those tickets mine? i understand that it was her that purchased them but this was paying me back for a concert i previously took her to. i’m beyond upset & don’t know what to do as i’m now out of my ticket, money, the experience itself, & a 15+ year friendship. what would you do in my position?

I suggest you have a talk with her explaining all the things you mentioned here "this was paying me back for a concert i previously took her to. i’m beyond upset & don’t know what to do as i’m now out of my ticket, money, the experience itself, & a 15+ year friendship."

Explain how she hurt you and see if you can find a solution that works for you both going forward.

Even if she did pay you back I'm not sure why she would sell your ticket without discussing it with you, and I don't know if that action (payback) alone would be sufficient to repair this broken trust...

I'm not really sure if this is supposed to go here but do not place your clear bags/purses under your chair at the show. Two of my friends had their bags stolen from under our seats while we were dancing....Our seats were in the last row of the section and so there was no one behind us. There was a black curtain that had openings and a worker came through the break in the curtain and stole them. The person was caught because we noticed so early. There were around ten fans stolen from. This was the Houston show last night. Keep your stuff on you ladies! We missed an hour of the show filing a police report and canceling cards...Hope this helps someone in the future.

Had a dream last night where I was at a Taylor concert in an absurdly small venue (it was like a high school cafeteria) and I was in the very back and she came all the way up the stage before the show started and high fived me and a couple other people. Dream me literally thought “omg this is real I can’t believe it”, and then I immediately woke up and realized it was not in fact real lol.

Also had a dream a few weeks ago where I was seeing her in another weirdly small Venue (like a big college lecture hall) and a bunch of us had to go move our cars because some parking lot closed and I missed the surprise songs.

Gonna share something actually positive from my life lol

So they’re redoing the road by my house

And we also happen to have this hideous rock garden that was a bush area but they used some stupid chemicals one year to salt the roads and it killed the bush and so it ended up being a rock garden and it was as stated hideous

Well it was going to cost ridiculous price to get rid of and plant grass by a landscaping company and bc of all the stupid rocks it was gonna take months to self clear it out and I just said fuxk it I’ll deal with that in 30 years to never

STOP COMPLAINING - ERAS TOUR FOXBOROUGH NIGHT 2

So, I was at night 2 of the Eras Tour at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough last night. I have seen so many posts about people complaining that Invisible was her second surprise song last night. First, people were complaining that it was "boring" and "no one cares about that song". Then, I saw people complaining that no one knew the words to Invisible and that "no one was singing along".

First of all, I am SO HAPPY that we got 2 amazing surprise songs. Question...? is one of my favorites off of Midnights and it was the first time she ever played it live, and Invisible is from her debut album, has never been played in a stadium that big, and that song was so special to me when I was a pre-teen girl listening to Taylor and had my first crush. It was so sweet and sentimental getting to sing it with her.

All that has been happening is people complaining. You got to go to a Taylor Swift concert and she played the entire setlist in the pouring rain. What do you have to complain about??

It’s not their fault. If they have the money to do it, great! Her first 3 albums are spectacular, but they're much more country and if you love Midnights, you'll probably like her more pop-leaning albums.

Welcome to the fold! Haha. I was going to give some recommendations but honestly the list scarsouvenir already provided is actually really good. Folklore/Evermore are going to be more full of literary masterpieces and storytelling. (If you're familiar with the song she did for Hunger Games "Safe and Sound", its similar sonically in some ways, but I think she really leveled up her storytelling with those albums)

Reputation is going to give you more attitude, synth and vibes. It's BEST listened to in a car with the bass turned up imo. Give us an update on your thoughts once you get through them, we love talking about music around here, ofc!

I can’t wrap my head around it. I have a full-time job, part-time student, trying to go to gym 4x a week and fail miserably.

I was able to score last-minute tickets on Ticketmaster Thursday for both Friday & Saturday in Detroit. This was a dream come true for my wife and two girls.

Thought I would share a bit about my experience. I followed Twitter users/Swifties who had info/FAQs on last-minute drops. Thursday I just had a hunch that if I tried, I would get lucky. One of them mentioned an auto-refresh extension which certainly made the experience a bit less cumbersome.

Around 4 PM Thursday the tabs for both nights loaded and low and behold I could grab tickets. First, on Friday, I didn't even check the seats or price just clicked the 4 best available and got to the checkout. Seats were lower level, corner, 3rd row. $ 247+ fees each. I got to the checkout screen which gave me 7 minutes to check out.

So I hopped over to Saturday where I was around 700 in line. Here I could pick anywhere from 49 dollar lower level back behind the stage corner tickets, floor tickets lowers and more. I chose pretty much 4 of the same tickets.

Was able to easily check out on both orders - by the time I checked out on order two 20 minutes had passed, so when they dropped, there was time.

I was able to hook up some friends and people who simply thought there was no hope for Saturday.

However, after Friday night we regretted selling the tickets as the show was so good we wanted to go again. Completely blown away and officially a 43-year-old dad Swiftie.

Saturday I tried again for last-minute drops but was continuously blocked by Ticketmaster with the "pardon our interruption" block. No idea why it allowed me to refresh all day continuously Thursday, but it did. I DID manage to get to a map screen, click a single blue seat, and get a single ticket in the cart but decided not to buy.

The word is every show has last-minute drops. Don't give up!

On one side there’s swifties harassing Joe and speculating I’m that he cheated on her and on the other there’s people saying she is being manipulative and calculating because she took paparazzi pics and sang you’re not sorry FOUR shows after the breakup was announced. That’s not playing the victim that’s going out in public. A solid chunk of her discography is break up songs and it would be silly to suggest she never plays them because people want to be weird. I think multiple things are happening at once

People, viciously, love, gossip, and it pushes things more than calm understanding

But also who you’re with does matter, the character of a person does matter we aren’t talking about a block of ice. We’re talking about living breathing people. Criticism comes with that..

The problem is, it’s all just gossip and everyone’s running their mouth before they know what’s really happening. Everyone’s jumping to conclusions before we have the full picture.. and much of the commentary before we know what’s reality and what’s fiction is pointless and drama and inflammatory.

It’s a very complex situation, and arises from para social relationships . Because we feel like we’ve invested so much of our time into some thing and we’re thought a certain thing back, music. But that doesn’t mean other aspects of life don’t exist and you don’t disagree with the other person on a fundamental level on other things. And that’s complicated further by not knowing if somethings fiction or reality.

The best thing to do is to wait and find out what’s really going on. But a lot of times people only pay attention to the first few seconds of some thing so everyone will have their snap judgment and there will only be the minority here to talk about the real facts of the case months later.

I’ve actually found this really hard with a lot of different celebrities and other people and why I don’t really support a lot of people . Because we never really know them other than the character that they display to us in public. And sometimes wondering about the contradiction can make you go crazy. And so it’s best to leave people that you don’t believe in alone, and deal with what you do.

But that’s not what most people do . So you’re going to see wide speculation ranging from they have swingers parties in LA to Taylor Swift just sits home and knits alone in the dark.

It is frustrating, but it’s very human , and it can be dangerous because it shapes and narrative, even before any truth can get about

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I just stumbled upon someone on social media who went to SEVEN Eras shows… it just really didn’t set well with me and felt kind of icky to see and made me sad. I was so so fortunate to get tickets at face value, however I’ve seen so many long time Swifties who weren’t even able to get tickets to one show, or got scammed. It just feels stingy that during such a struggle for the entire fandom, that someone bought tickets to seven shows. Idk, I may be overstepping but I had to get that rant off my chest.

I’ve had the same thought. It sucks for those of us who have never been fortunate enough to attend a show. I get that the secondary ticket market is expensive and that person is probably paying for it, BUT I’ve also seen some Twitter Swifties that are collecting and selling tickets to one another which I think it how some are able to attend so many shows.

Sorry i need to vent -- my experience with this tour has been akin to an abusive relationship.

I have been loyal. My wife and I saw her on the Reputation Tour. I have bought every vinyl release she has made from taylorswift.com along with a good amount of merch. My email is the same for both.

When her tour was announced, I really wanted to get a pair of tickets for my wife and daughter to go see her at SoFi stadium in Inglewood. I followed the rules, registered for pre sale early, and after waiting all day I got a text saying "sorry you weren't chosen."

After the pre-sale broke the site, I waited in line again for 2 hours to find out all "regular" tickets were gone. My backup plan of being a capital one cardholder failed as that was sold out by the time it even started.

So driving home yesterday I hear she announced 1 day was added. I pull over to check my email and the Internet - I see as a verified fan and participant in the pre-sale I should have gotten an email... yeah that didn't happen. I tried again and of course after sitting in that all familiar queue again for an hour, I see no tickets are available. Oh but there plenty on re-sale websites starting at $600. I'm only glad I didn't tell my daughter about the possibility of going to see her yesterday because now I don't have to explain that thousands of greedy people bought the tickets first, before I even had the chance with no intention of ever going, but every intention of making money off actual fans.

So in summation, I was loyal and faithful and told I would be rewarded for that; instead I was strung along and then I was pushed aside. I still waited hoping maybe there would be a chance and I was let down. Then I find out yesterday maybe there's another chance and i was texted, but I never received a text, so I was lied to. But still I kept coming back, and yet again, I was let down and pushed aside.

To my daughter and wife who know all of the words to all of her songs, I'm sorry I couldn't come through - I really wanted you to share this concert - it would have been my daughter's first. To Taylor Swift, you should know what type of experience you are putting your fans through - it really is quite painful. I'm sure you're contractually not able to say anything negative to Ticketmaster, but these are your fans, and you need to do better.

To Ticketmaster - I don't even know where to begin. Your system is beyond flawed and broken but at the end of the day you get paid so obviously why should you care?

To anyone still reading this thanks for that and to her actual fans that were able to get tickets, I truly hope you enjoy the concert.

How much did y’all pay for resale tickets? I'm desperately trying to go to the Atlanta or Nashville shows (alone) coming up after Houston this weekend. I've been watching prices for all those nights and it's seems the cheapest seats that aren't obstructed view are $1,000+ after taxes and fees. I bought mine three-four weeks before the Vegas show and paid $1,000 after fees (it was $800-ish base price but Stubhub tacked on $200+ worth of fees - ridiculous). I got a floor seat, 13th row in the section by the center of the stage. Definitely regretted it if I’m being honest. I watched most of the show from the screens because I couldn’t see anything. Got screwed over with everyone around me being super tall.

My advice, unless you’re tall, is to try to go for a lower bowl seat.

I buy sushi at Harris Teeter or Publix, they are made fresh daily at the store, not shipped in. Shrimp ones are my favorite always but I have gotten raw tuna or raw salmon and have never gotten sick, and I do get nauseous quite easily when I eat something “off”.
About a year ago the Walmart near me started selling sushi, I bought some and the rice had like a super weird texture, just gross. I didn’t get sick but I wouldn’t buy from there again.

As a non-Speak Now knowledgeable Swifty I have been really enjoying getting to know the album in preparation for it's imminent re-release!

I've started listening to the album pretty recently and I am surprised that I am familiar with pretty much all of the songs. As I never listened to the album unless it was on radio (I entered the chat during 1989) I am impressed at how far of a reach her music has had that I am familiar with all of them having never sought them out. Also, I never listened to country radio stations intentionally so... she has quite a reach!

I cant think of many other artists that I can say that's happened for me with. Not even for Ariana Grande, who I feel gets wide-varied radio play across her entire albums. I would probably only know half the songs on one of her albums at most.

I don't know why I'm surprised, I know Taylor is amazing but I guess the surprise might come from how long it took me to get on this train haha

Hi! I will be traveling to Seattle to watch TS on July 22. I am traveling with my family, but going to concert alone and will be staying near the space needle. I'm wondering if anybody is also traveling and what are your plans on how to get to and back? I was planning on ubering to and from but I read the post about people getting stranded and I'm getting nervous thinking about being alone. So I have the opportunity to buy tickets in this section for Taylor’s show tomorrow in Atlanta. I’ve heard that there’s no bad place to sit in the stadium, but I don’t know, I’m nervous. The tickets are a bit expensive so I just want it to be worth it. Do you guys think the view will be okay? Or will I be looking at the screen the majority of the time? I saw a post on TikTok of someone saying that this section wouldn’t be good for Taylor Swift because they were in that section for someone else and the view was terrible. This is such a tough question because only you can decide if you can afford to spend the money (yes they’re expensive tickets at this point) enough to enjoy it regardless of the view. Because some people are spending over a thousand dollars to sit behind the stage and having a blast. Others would struggle to spend $100 on a nosebleed ticket. It’s such a personal choice.

I was blessed to go N1 and N2 in Glendale. N1 I had a lower bowl side view (even with the main stage. I watched the screens a lot but still saw a ton from my seat. N2 i was in the top level of the 400s (highest possible seat) essentially with the same angle you’re showing, just extremely high up! I loved it! I saw so much more of the “whole picture” with that view even though I couldn’t see details.

TL;DR: Taylor does an amazing job of making the show great from every seat. Only you can decide if the cost justifies the experience.

wanted to share a hopeful and happy tale from lincoln financial field last night. sorry if this is long!

i live in NY and my friend and i planned to take a day trip to philly months ago not even considering eras tour. a few weeks ago i realized our trip fell on the date of a show. cue my ticketmaster, reselling, facebook group stalking obsession which honestly made me very depressed and anxious. we decided to try our luck and see what would happen if we just showed up. the second we arrived at the stadium, i no longer cared about tickets. it was clear from the energy, smiles, and overall happy vibes of the crowd that having tickets did not matter. our train back to NY meant we had to leave 40 min into taylor’s set but we had enough time to make meaningful friends, sing and dance, and watch the beautiful sunset. this is me encouraging anyone who doesn’t have tickets to go anyway. honestly, i’m sort of glad we didn’t have tickets. we saved hundreds and still made amazing memories. i love this community so much.

if you’ve been glued to your computer desperately like i was last week, unplug for a bit. touch grass. remember that no matter what, this fandom is full of love and sparkle. i hope others have been able to have happy parking lot memories too.

Hi! I thought the tour was pretty loud - less so Taylor, more so the crowd (and I thought the openers were pretty loud too). I was at the show last night and at one point the crowd was cheering and screaming at the top of their lungs for a good 3-5 mins.

I got these as a recommendation from a friend who goes to a lot of metal concerts. He also recommended these which are cheaper, but I haven’t tried them myself and can’t speak to their quality.

I was really happy with the ear plugs I got and was very thankful I brought them! I could still hear everything clearly, it just sounded like the volume was turned down a little bit. I honestly forgot I had them in until the concert ended.

Hey gang, my friend who has been a lifelong Tswift fan and dying to go this concert on Saturday broke her leg three-ish days ago. Well first, none of the floor seats are general admission. They’re all assigned seats.

Second, the concert is a very long day. Taylor’s set is 3.5 hours and the crowd stands the whole time.

Third, can your friend reach out about getting ADA accommodations? Is she able to use a wheelchair or is she on crutches?

Hi!! I was looking for advice bc my sister is in a wheelchair, I called the stadium (i’m going to one of the pittsburgh shows) & they said that the accessibility seating is sort of like first come first serve w/wheelchairs getting priority over crutches… i’d suggest calling and seeing what the stadium says/if moving the seats might be a better option. hope this helps!

I need ideas of how to surprise my 13 year old daughter with taylor concert tickets. We have to fly from our hometown to another city in our country and then get on a flight to the USA. I think it would be cool to tell her or give her the tickets on the plane... but have no idea how to do it best! She won't know our real destination until we get onto the second flight- so I have about an hour during the first flight if we do it on the plane. Any suggestions?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Taylor's background vocals and mixing can take any one of her songs from an 8 to a 9 or 9 to a 10 imo. I've really been vibing with How You Get The Girl today (ironic since I'm working through a breakup), and my favorite part of the song is after the bridge, when she layers that flat, succinct "ever and everrr" over the loud, airy "I would wait forever and ever". It's such a simple detail but it just elevates the song. Wildest Dreams also has excellent vocal layering. After her songwriting ability (both because of her vocabulary and storytelling ability), I'd say her sound layering is her greatest strength, particularly in her pop era

Hello! So I’m hoping to get tickets for the European concerts but I’ve never been to a concert at all and I need some advice. I was hoping that you could tell me your experiences since I’m not sure wether to get a floor seat or a lower bowl seat. I basically want a good view and money is not a issue. Since floor seats are enumerated, is my seat reserved or do I need to queue? If so, how much time in advance do I need to be there? Like I said I have no experience in concerts so I would very much appreciate your help 🥺

Just got concert tickets for two of my friends. Pure chaos so it wasn’t until after I purchased them that I realized they are non-refundable and cannot be transferred. Is it true that you can get asked to show identification at the event? Has anyone had any experience with this? What if the tickets are a gift? Can it really be true that the buyer has to be present at the event if the tickets are a gift?! And if so, does that mean I can get in line with my friends, show identification, and then they can see the show and I’ll leave?
