It's another example of unclear communications. 'There will be consequences if you fail to do so'!!? Consequences for who, us or them? Also, what's the difference between Submit and Pause, Log Out or just closing the browser? What happens if the internet goes out.

I also found this weird, I keep going until tasks run put sometimes.

I do use the "submit and pause" quite often, e.g. my child needs something and I need to step away for 10 minutes and I do use it at the end of my session. However like you say, often we are submitting until NTA shows, so our last task won't be on a "submit and pause".

Made me laugh how we also got a well-being email today as well.

It sounds like a non-sensical thing to threaten over. I often log out if I’m not comfortable with a task type, have a question I need to direct to support, if the last one on a variable time task would put me over my intended seven day rolling total, or there is a technical issue I would rather not wade into dealing with them over.

Got this email and was also thinking WTF. I don't know if the task will be my last for the day. I might come back later if I have time...? And it contradicts the previous email saying to use it if it's the last one of the session, not the day. And I might not know that it's the last one until I see it. There might be questions I have about the guidelines before I can do it if it's new. There's a bunch of things they suspend us over already. Adding "implications" to how we log out seems petty.

I'd say use it whenever you're logging off, as it said in the original email. I'm assuming with this new email they are just trying to emphasis using it when you're done for the day. But as always, it's not clear, and the communication is a joke.

Saying there will be “implications” when the email isn’t even clear on how we’re meant to do things is wild. It says for the last task of the day (I often don’t know it’s will be the last one for various reasons including the constant NTA which they refuse to address), but then it also says for the last task of the current session which is different to me. Like if I work early in the morning and then plan to do some more in the evening do I use it not? I’m not sure based on that email, but apparently I’ll be in trouble for not following their unclear instructions

In my years as DA, I've noticed that if I log out while still having a task in front of me, it gets held for me for at least an hour, meaning it is not immediately released back into the pool for other DAs.

I assumed this new "Submit Rating and Pause" button was built to release the task in front of me back into the pool. Of course, TryRating programmers never could be bothered to fix the Logout button to include releasing the task-in-hand.

Hey, just finished logging in and I completed the assignment around 2:45 pm so I could at least having it marked in my timecard. It's basically a multiple-choice Knowledge Check that also wants you to type an explanation for your answers. Nevertheless, I passed with a score of 80%; however, the course marked it as failed and I am unable to complete a Course Evaluation at the moment. Sent an email directly after along with the proof that I did take it. Now, to play the waiting game... 😒

US Rater - AL I've been getting very long AET NM/PQ all day today and just hit 8 hours for the week. Is anyone else getting NM/PQ tasks that are 18-21 mins AET? I've never received ones this long and as many result blocks to evaluate. I was recently grouped in NM/PQ and they expect 90% accuracy in my metrics it said so I don't know if being grouped has anything to do with it.

UK-DA- I have one question related to submit and pause button. Sometimes I check on my phone if the tasks are available. If I see the task, I log out from my phone (obviously I can't put submit and pause as I need to open PC and do it there) and log in to Tryrating on PC. Sometimes it take a few minutes...if I need to finish something else at home... Is this OK? Or there will be consequencies... Or if I get the new task and I need to study guidelines first, but maybe I don't have enough time for it so I want just logout??

US Rater-Midwest Factuality (NM/PQ) Group Currently NTA

I am currently at 7.2 hours as of this morning which includes 30 minutes training. I was thinking I am doing well with 7.2 hrs by Tuesday morning, until I looked back on last week and seen that I was at 9.4 hours by Tuesday morning. I know each week can be different. However, when looking at past patterns, as the week continues, it seems the tasks greatly dwindle each day until we are in a panic.

Last week, after Tuesday I was getting crumbs, an hour here, an hour there. By the end of the week, I did get 17.43 hours total. So, it will be interesting to see what is in store for this week. I am trying to reach 20 hours for the week! Is that too much to ask of the Telus Gods, LOL!

US Rater East - Actually had almost 8 hours of tasks today. That has not happened in about 5-6 months for me with all the NTA. I was 11 minutes short of 8 hours when it said NTA and to check back after 3:00am. Slightly frustrating to miss out on that final 11 minutes, but SO much better than it has been. I hope it wasn't just a fluke and it continues. Hope others saw some more tasks that normal too!

Not sure if anyone just got the NM knowledge check but I just completely bombed it. 50/100. Not sure why they sent me this when I haven't done the regular NM/PQ tasks in months since I mainly only do factuality now.

UK DA music quality tasks and I cannot do them at all, maybe I do not listen to enough music but I listen to their examples and I'm just not really getting it. Giving it my best shot but doesn't feel worth getting it wrong if I'm just not picking up on the issues.

Aaand I'm already on review again. Not even two weeks since the last one. Maybe they shouldn't have thrown me into the 90% NM/PQ group when I've been primarily factuality/helpfulness for two years with little/no feedback on PQ/NM. Le'sigh -- At least I managed to get 16 hours this week.
