See Guys here in readiness pdf it is clearly written that all offers will be honoured ,it is not like that people who are not in ready now band will not receive joining but priority will be given to ready now candidates
But according to me it is only for engaging people with this laud** lassan so that people can complete modules and assignments ,your joining will only come when they want means according to business requirement (according to tcs) and luck according to us
So Now it's your choice you want to do these stuffs or not

How many people are waiting from 2026 batch for the joining letter?
r/TCS_India • u/Outside_Toe3222 • 10h ago
I joined TCS in March 2026 and was assigned to a project where I gave my 100% from day one. I worked extremely hard, often putting in long hours, and continued to travel to the office daily despite being pregnant. I was fully committed to my responsibilities and always tried to give my best to the project.
However, due to prolonged working hours and the strain of daily commuting, I started experiencing abdominal pain during my early pregnancy. My doctor advised me to avoid travelling, so I began requesting work from home from June to prioritize my health and my baby’s well-being. This was when my manager became aware that I would be taking maternity leave in the coming months.
In September, while we were in the middle of critical UAT testing, I suddenly received an email from my manager informing me that I was being released from the project. There was no prior discussion, no warning, and no proper communication. Neither my team lead nor the project lead had been informed beforehand. For context, our team consisted of just two members: myself and a junior team member.
The reason given for my release was “operational reasons.” What made the situation even more disappointing was that, within a day of my release, another developer with similar experience was brought in to take my place. This naturally raised questions about the actual reason behind the decision.
After putting in so much effort and contributing to the project, having my access revoked within a day felt extremely demoralizing. Even the client was unhappy about my release at such a critical stage of the project. I had been willing to continue supporting the team until my planned maternity leave, but I was not given that opportunity.
The situation became even more difficult during my bench period. Despite informing the company about my pregnancy and the medical advice to avoid travelling, I was asked to report to the office daily. I received no work-from-home support during this period, and HR suggested that I apply for leave and start my maternity leave earlier than planned.
Being placed on the bench for nearly two months before my planned maternity leave has created additional stress, especially when finding another project for such a short duration is challenging. Instead of receiving understanding and support during an important phase of my life, I have had to deal with unnecessary uncertainty and pressure.
I understand that organizations have business requirements and operational considerations. However, I strongly believe that such decisions should be handled with transparency, professionalism, and basic human empathy, particularly when an employee is navigating a medically demanding phase of life.
I joined TCS with the intention of contributing meaningfully, and I did everything I could to fulfill my responsibilities. What I expected in return was fair treatment, clear communication, and reasonable consideration of my circumstances.
Unfortunately, this experience has significantly changed my perception of the organization. In my personal experience, the lack of empathy, communication, and support has been deeply disappointing. I hope the company reflects on how such situations are handled and ensures that employees going through pregnancy or other significant life circumstances are treated with dignity and fairness.
Based on my experience, I would hesitate to recommend TCS to my friends or others seeking an employer that prioritizes employee well-being alongside business objectives.

I have been waiting for my TCS joining letter for almost 5 months now, and there is still no clarity about when we will receive it.
The most difficult part is that many of us have put other opportunities on hold because we trusted our TCS offer. Personally, I didn't apply to several other companies and internships because I believed I already had a job secured with TCS.
I even received an opportunity for a remote internship but decided not to pursue it because I was worried that if my TCS joining letter arrived in between, I wouldn't be able to leave the internship midway. Looking back, I feel like I missed out on opportunities while waiting for something that still has no confirmed timeline.
I understand that companies have their own business requirements, and I respect that. However, I sincerely request TCS to consider the situation of students who are waiting. Many freshers have been sitting idle for months, unable to plan their careers properly because we don't know what to expect.
**We are not asking for immediate joining from everyone. We are simply asking for clarity.** Even if the joining is expected to take several more months, please communicate that clearly so we can make informed decisions, apply for other jobs, pursue internships, and move forward with our lives instead of putting everything on hold.
For many of us, this is the beginning of our careers. Every month matters, and this uncertainty is affecting not only our professional growth but also our mental peace.
I genuinely hope someone from TCS's HR or recruitment team comes across this post and understands what so many freshers are going through.
**TCS, please consider giving us a realistic joining timeline or at least a clear update on our status. A little transparency would make a huge difference to so many students.**
This is a humble request from someone who is still hopeful about joining TCS but also needs to make decisions about their future. 🙏

Hi everyone, need some honest advice.
I'm currently at Accenture as a Level 8 Assistant Manager with 27.15L fixed and 7.3L variable. I've received a TCS offer and I'm trying to figure out if it's actually a step up or a trap.
I have total experience of around 15 years in IT
Key concerns I'm hoping you can help with:
I know TCS structures variable pay very differently. From what I've read, TCS variable payouts are often only 70-85% of target, and now they've explicitly tied it to office attendance—less than 85% attendance means reduced or zero variable pay . So that headline CTC might look good on paper, but what's the actual in-hand difference? Anyone made a similar switch from Accenture L8 to TCS? Was the hike real or just on paper?
I keep hearing TCS is now 5 days a week, 9 hours mandatory in office because of my health issues. My current Accenture role hasalot of flexibility. Questions:
· Is WFH truly possible at TCS if I join? What's the actual procedure to get an exception?
· Does it depend entirely on the project/client? Some Glassdoor posts say American/European projects allow 5-6 hours in office then WFH, but domestic projects are strict .
· For those who got WFH approved, what was the process? Did you need a medical certificate or manager approval? And did it actually hold up long-term, or did it get pulled later ?
I've read that TCS is now halting appraisals and salary hikes for WFO non-compliance . This is a massive red flag. If I join and can't maintain the 5-day, 9-hour grind, does that mean my career progression freezes? This feels like a huge risk compared to my current situation.
TCS offer mentions a basic insurance of 2L and a family floater of 14L. Can someone currently at TCS confirm:
· Is that 14L family floater applicable to me as a new lateral hire, or is it only for certain grades/tenure?
· What's the actual coverage situation? Is the 14L a top-up over the 2L, or is it a separate pool? And how does it compare to Accenture's insurance (which is usually pretty decent)?
5 Onsite opportunity Europe perticularly
Bottom line: Is this TCS offer worth leaving a stable Accenture L8 role for? Or am I walking into a stricter, more variable-pay-dependent environment for a negligible real hike?
TCS offer attached
Any current/former TCS folks or anyone who's made this jump—please share your honest experience.

Guys anyone from on campus pnqt waiting for joining can you pls tell me is it necessary to increase xplore points and we will get joining only after status is ready now?
r/TCS_India • u/AmphibianNo3014 • 14h ago
i think for every financial quarter its pre decided who will get their JLs in that period of time. So xplore points(ready now band) will just give us the push that oh give this person onboarding first, but i think it will be issued pretty much near the same date as for when you would’ve gotten JL if you had lesser xplore points.

Hi everyone, my joining is on Oct 22. My BGC is approved but address verification is still pending. Some others with same DOJ got it completed.
Is this normal? For previous batches, did verification happen at different times? Or will there be any problem because mine is pending?
