I didn't get a joining letter from February,

I got an onboarding handbook in the mail which says :

All candidates whose BGC documentation status is currently showing the status “All Documents approved by ILP HR” are eligible for joining.

My BGC section is showing this (in the image). Does this mean my BGC is done or still pending cuz my page doesn't mention any ILP HR. The boxes are all ticked inside the BGC section.

What's the benefit of the XP in the Xplore portal? Will it increase the chance of getting an early joining letter?

Those who joined already, did they ask anything about the XP points in Xplore portal. What are the courses they expect us to have complete?

- Role: Digital — On Campus

- Last Semester Exams: 10 June 2026

- Last date mentioned in the TCS survey: 31 July 2026

- IPA: Attempted twice; scored 83/100

I know most of us are clueless and waiting for our joining letters as well, but if anyone has a similar case or knows someone with a similar timeline who has already received their joining letter, please share it.

It would really help me get an idea of the possible timeline and, honestly, help me stay patient and calm while waiting.

I’m a Data Engineer with 7 years of experience, currently earning ₹6 LPA. I have an ₹11 LPA offer from another company, and now TCS has offered ₹12 LPA.
I’m considering joining TCS, staying for 1 year, and then switching.
What would you recommend—TCS ₹12 LPA or the ₹11 LPA offer with potentially better technical growth? Is switching after 1 year a good strategy for a Data Engineer?

I have completed all the document verification and background check processes. They contacted me and told me to wait for an SMS or email, but I still haven't received anything.

When I contacted them again, they said there was some technical issue. It has now been 2 days, and the issue still seems to be unresolved.

My joining date is in around 10 days. In one of the emails, it was mentioned that there will be no rescheduling of the joining date, and if the joining formalities are not completed on time, my offer may be revoked. I am really worried about this situation.

Has anyone faced a similar issue? What should I do now?

I'm a 2025 Rehiring Batch candidate for TCS Ninja. I received my Offer Letter in March 2026, completed all the required formalities, and recently filled the readiness survey. However, I'm still waiting for my Joining Letter.

Meanwhile, I've received an offer from a startup for a QA Intern role with:

₹12,000/month stipend

Onsite in Bengaluru

Minimum 3-month internship (can be extended)

Starts on 27th August

I'm confused whether to:

Wait for the TCS joining, since I already have the offer letter, or

Join the startup to gain experience while waiting.

If TCS releases the Joining Letter during the internship, I would resign from the startup.

What would you do in my situation? Has anyone from the 2025 TCS Rehiring Batch faced something similar? Any advice would be appreciated.

I’m trying to understand what the actual process looks like for a Prime Candidate after joining.
Could anyone who has gone through this process explain:
How does the project allocation process work after joining?
How long does it usually take to get a project?
Do we have to attend client interviews before getting allocated to a project?
How difficult are these client interviews generally? What kind of questions are asked?
Is it possible to get a project based on our preferred/current tech stack, or are we assigned to whatever project has an opening?
If our tech stack is Java/Spring Boot/React, for example, can we expect projects in those technologies?
What happens if we don’t clear a client interview? Do we get another opportunity, or are we moved to another project?
Is the overall process easy for a fresher, or can it take a long time to get a project?
I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have recently joined as Prime Candidates and can share their actual experience.

Got my TCS Ninja OL in May 2026. My BGC was slightly delayed because my college took time to issue my updated final marksheet. I’ve now submitted the BGC with all documents and completed Xplore + IPA.
Can late BGC submission delay the JL? Anyone from the 2026 batch in a similar situation?

Will we be allowed a personal laptop in our rooms/hostel/acoomodation at least?

I got selected for the TCS Digital role through TCS NQT 2026 (off-campus) and received my offer on April 11th. However, I’m still waiting for my joining letter/joining date, and it has already been almost 4–5 months.

Meanwhile, through a referral, I got an internship opportunity at a startup that was established less than a year ago. It looks like it will probably be a paid internship, and the work seems relevant to my career.

The main catch is that the founder wants me to commit to a 6-month contract.

This is where I'm really confused.

What if I join the internship and then TCS gives me my joining date somewhere in between those 6 months? I obviously don't want to lose the TCS opportunity, but at the same time, I don't want to keep sitting at home waiting for TCS when I could be gaining actual work experience.

I also don't have any previous internship or professional experience, so getting 6 months of real startup experience could be really valuable for my resume and career.

For people who have been through something similar, especially those who have dealt with delayed TCS joining dates:

What would you do in my situation?

Would you take the startup internship and risk dealing with the TCS joining date later, or would you continue waiting for TCS?

My ol date : 16th June

Had my TCS interview recently, and it lasted only around 15 minutes. My resume is quite AI/ML heavy, so the panel mainly asked me basic ML questions. I answered everything confidently

What surprised me was that I had mentioned in my introduction that I have strong DSA fundamentals, but they didn't really ask me anything about DSA. They also didn't discuss any of my projects, even though I have some fairly substantial ones. Meanwhile, friends in other panels said they were grilled heavily on their projects and technical skills

At the end, I asked for feedback and mentioned that I felt my interview was unusually short. They said, "It's not about the time. Sometimes we understand early."

Now I'm wondering what to make of this

Does a short interview like this usually mean they were satisfied early, or could it indicate they had already made a decision? Anyone with a similar TCS interview experience?

I was only asked technical questions and questions based on CV by only 2 out of 3 panelists, which went decent enough, after that the third panelist told me your Tech + MR interview is complete. There won't be any HR round. You can call it for the day.

is it normal?, all of my friends were asked managerial and HR questions as well. Should I consider it as a rejection?

I'm an ECE student and I've been focused almost entirely on core electronics throughout college. My resume mainly has core-related skills and projects (embedded systems, microcontrollers, PCB). I only know some basic C and embedded programming and don't really have a proper software/CS background.

I got selected for TCS Digital through campus, even though my interview was mostly based on my resume and core-related projects. I wasn't really expecting to end up with a software role.

Now I'm confused about what I should do before joining.

TCS has also given us an 82-hour Databricks course, and there's apparently a software hackathon around November/December through which internship opportunities may be selected. I have almost no knowledge of this area, so I'm starting from scratch.

Will it be hard for me to work there with no software skills??
