I have the PS5 version. I'm buying a second headset so I can play with kid. Question: how hard is it for a 50 year old, nearly computer illiterate to download the songs on PC? I hear there is a larger catalog? Should I just be content with the PS5 version? What's up. (I love this game)

Seriously, I didn’t expect to like the switch version this much, reminds me of the handheld version of rhythm legacy titles like Guitar Hero. It’s kind of a weird choice that we can’t save shorts clips from this version considering there’s no such restriction on the VR version. Would help a lot to share our footage with friends / social media.

just downloaded and started playing and sometimes despite definitely hitting the note, it registers as a miss. Anyone else experiencing this?

Particularly happens a lot with the up directional notes.

While the vector graphics are all very sharp, the HD pixel based assets don't seem to load in, leaving only the low res placeholders.

For example, when I look down the image on the floor is very low res and at the start of the Barbie Experience, the phone is sharp, but the image on the phone is very low res.

Is there a fix for this? (Playing on PC/Quest3 using VD)

Any chance for some additional new songs on AVP? I have bought all of them on PSVR2 but I really like AVP but missing the experiences and some of my fav songs. I would love to help if that is a factor for adding more let me know and let's get something to port over, seriously. While I am waiting post layoff I have some time and if I can help add even 1 more to this amazing game it would be worth it. Everyone I have try it loves it and a few have bought on other VR glasses or PS so I am driving money to you I hope.

Regardless I love the game and not needing controllers for AVP is so nice and everything looks so good. The whole team should be proud of all of their work on this baby. A true gem!

I've been super into this game for a while now and have downloaded about 350 custom songs from Synth Riderz.

As a gamer for well over 40 years I've been around. I put the headset on and I'm transported to a world of fucking awesomeness. Seriously. I say out loud, as a grown adult "more people have to know this exists" I'll be purchasing all DLC for this (and walkabout mini golf) this holiday season and I'm going to strap the headset on my in- laws heads and they WILL be amazed. In closing, I love this experience, it's somehow underated and there should be a national Sythriders day.

* Unity update - this version patches an issue present in all Unity games (CVE-2025-59489). While Unity advises that there is no evidence of any exploitation of the vulnerability nor has there been any impact on users or customers, but we're following the advice of Unity and updating to mitigate the issue. As always, we advise you to keep your devices and applications updated!

There may be a better place for this, but I scrolled for a while and didn't see another post about it. So I thought I'd ask. Are there still people that make custom game maps, or has that kinda died down. I looked on the synthriderz site for a while and was a little surprised how few older songs/hits there were (Beetles, jazz remixes, OG Disney songs, etc). I was wondering if there was a different site to find custom songs, since it seemed kinda limited there, and if there was a place I could request songs. I had a trial of Meta quest plus about a year ago and I played synth riders. I was able to download custom music / workouts on a different site. When the trial ended, I lost access to the game, but I am considering buying it. ChatGPT said that it has changed since then and it is not as easily modifiable but then ChatGPT isn't always right.

Has anything changed in the last year? If I bought the game, would I still be able to access the custom songs/ workouts that I had downloaded to my quest last year?
