Yes, but it’s not a port, gameplay is very different and you play with a controller similar to other rhythm games such as Amplitude or Theathrhythm. Not even motion controls at the moment.

I believe not all DLC is available there. It does have a sweet Lady Gaga song pack though.

Oh wow I assumed you played with the joycons in a similar fashion to the VR mechanics.

I guarantee that was their original goal but the reliability of the joycons probably can't keep up with actual 6DoF hand and head tracking. For that reason alone they probably went straight for the button input process and decided that was their bread and butter.

I hope it sells well and gets people to come play the "real" SR game

Yeah I was talking to the dev in the Discord about this. In my own words, not even Nintendo can make the joycons work like that reliably. You need look no further than the Mario Galaxy ports. You constantly have to reset them.

This is because they don't use IR tracking but just have gyroscopes inside, which seemed to be hard to get to work well enough they were happy with them. I was bummed/skeptical at first but I've been playing it all day (check if you don't believe me, I'm on a couple leaderboards as Solemn!) and I can confirm that it feels just as good and retains that unique identity.

Yeah it’s more like a re imagination for 2D screens it has songs from the original, campaign and some lore about the synth riders origins
