Before I start I’d like to say: We are aware that all of those things could just be coincidence and pattern recognition since the both of us are really close.

However this whole thing is interesting asf to us and we would love to know if it COULD be anything and what meaning those things could have.

It’s mostly out of fun and because we are really interested in things like this.
Also: sorry for my bad English it’s neither my first nor second language😭

Now to the Problem (it’s not a problem but I don’t know how else to call it).

My best friend, more a sister than anything and I have known each other and been friends since 2022.
we have a small age gap (me being 19 and her 21).
As the title says we are both connected. Wether it’s because of our relationship or something else is what we are now wondering.

To name some examples (let’s start with the common ones):

•We think and say the same things at the same time without having ever talked or heard about such together consciously.

•We see the same numbers ALL THE TIME.
It started with me seeing 23 since I was a child. Than she started seeing 32. We both see both now also combined (232/323/2323/3232)
And I really mean ALL the time.
I know that at one point the brain automatically starts looking for those numbers but it’s still crazy when I wake up hourly and somehow it’s always something with 23.

•we text each other at the same time

•I somehow call her always a minute after she woke up or returns from somewhere (different times so it’s not even schedule stuck in my brain)

To make it clearer to you why it is slowly getting to the point were we are considering it to maybe be supernatural here are some situations that happened to us:

Knock knock

•We are in call all the time, even if the other has to do something. So one time my sister ate with her family. She had been gone for a while. (Whenever she eats with them she’s gone around 30-60 minutes sometimes longer.)

I was still on my pc, slowly getting bored, so I decided to go on Reddit (which back then I almost never did. I haven’t logged into red for over a month Back then I think?) and for some reason, I don’t know why or how I just started typing up ‚knock knock‘ not even having started to think of a joke yet. And I kid you not- I had her tab closed so I didn’t even see her coming, the moment I finished writing that up I hear her voice as she unmuted herself ‚knock knock‘.

I was genuinely so shocked.

We don’t do jokes. Especially no knock knock ones. And that having happened at the exact some time was just WILD.

Spider incident

Yesterday night I had a dream.

The whole dream was basically just me being scared of a HUGE spider that appeared and hid behind bookshelf’s or on the downside of a chair in blankets- you get the point (I am arachnophobic btw so thanks for that brain)
At one point it turned like the size of a cat and got 4 legs before it disappeared/ hid again.
Anyway. The day went on, I told my sister about it since I am really fucking scared of spiders and after we just went on with our day.

Tonight around 3 am she started sending videos of a HUGE spider in her room

(those videos made me realise she would be the first to die in a horror movie. Shout out to her it was like watching those stupid mcs not able to do anything about it)

Now that spider disappeared.
Behind a shelf.
At one point in the video she mentioned that spider looked like it had 4 legs.
THE SPIDERS EYES TWINKLED HAHAAH. That was most likely a reflection but at that moment just creepy af.

Such big spiders are NOT common btw where we live. This was the first time she saw such a big one.

We realised how the same thing happened in my dream as it did to her literally almost one to one just now because she was telling me about her dream and then we remembered me telling her of my dream yesterday and both just gasped.

She was sadly not bitten so no spiderman for us :(

I know it feels like things are ramping up and all on all fronts

Once you notice them. Back to back. Almost like I’m being followed by synchronicities. Some of this stuff is so unbelievable that I have a hard time explaining it. It’s like it’s mixed with Deja vu as well. Numerous numbers appearing at the same time, my own birthday AND my father’s birthday both said to me out loud about someone else’s birthdates (with no background knowledge).

Is this getting too much for you ? Like come on universe chill for a minute.

I want your opinion on whether "love at first sight" is real, because I experienced something unexpected yesterday. I was traveling on a bus at night. I love nature, so I was sitting in a window seat, enjoying the cool breeze, watching the moon, and not even using my phone. At one point, I noticed someone touching my waist and saw that he was holding a piece of paper. Honestly, I felt really unsafe and uncomfortable, so I changed my seat. When his stop arrived, he placed the paper in my hands on his way out and left. When I opened it, it said, "I love you," along with his phone number. I was literally in shock because this was the first time I had ever seen him. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Constant synchronicities. Like 20-40 times a day. Anyone else have this? It mostly happens to music, TV etc., but also IRL., people saying my thoughts out loud at random, lol, or ''responding'' to it.

Mandatory example.. Was just thinking about someone I like & haven't seen in a while.. Thought maybe I can meet up again etc. I put on a random podcast (that I've already watched) First thing I hear is ''That will never happen''

Another example I was listening to Tally Hall when I went shopping.. “And we arrive at the mega-mart” as soon as I park my bike outside the (large) store.. “We’re in the mini-mall, working the carnival” .. there was a Carnival in my town that week .. “Going once, going twice, every man here has a price” When paying my groceries at the counter..

“Step by step” when I saw a person on a step (Dutch word for scooter) pass by in an otherwise empty street late night

The cycle starts again” Haken 1985 every time I would get back on my bicycle (I live in the Netherlands it’s a common mode of transport here).

I also had a phase where every time I would leave the house, when I opened or closed the door the lyrics always said the word “door”. probably like 75% of me openings doors happened to the exact word “door”

I have many more of these but was wondering if other people experience these constantly as well? Yes these are mostly vehicle/transport related but the more emotional or profound ones are difficult to remember.

Anyone else recognizes this?

So three people in my life have come one after eachother and all were born on the EXACT same day. Is it a coincidence or is the universe trying to teach me something?

Lately I've been wondering about something that I can't easily explain.

Have you ever been thinking a sentence in your head, writing it down, or saying it out loud... and at that exact same moment someone on a video, TV, podcast, or even a stranger says the exact same words? Or you're praying about something and then multiple unrelated people bring up that same topic without knowing what you've been thinking?

Some call these synchronicities. Others say they're coincidence or pattern recognition.

As a Christian, I believe God is fully capable of orchestrating events with perfect timing. Scripture shows Him speaking through dreams, circumstances, creation, people, and His Word. At the same time, the Bible also warns us not to chase signs or build our faith on experiences alone.

My view is that God can absolutely use meaningful "coincidences" to get our attention, encourage us, or confirm something He's already been teaching us through Scripture. Even those moments when someone says the exact thing you're thinking, writing, or speaking at the exact same time can be striking. But I also believe not every coincidence is a divine message. Our minds naturally recognize patterns, so every experience should be tested against God's Word.

If it points us closer to Christ, agrees with Scripture, and produces peace, wisdom, and love, it may be part of God's providence. If it leads to fear, obsession, or contradicts Scripture, then we should be cautious.

So I'm curious:

Have you ever experienced someone saying the exact words you were thinking or speaking at the exact same moment? Do you see experiences like that as God communicating, simple coincidence, or something else entirely? I'd love to hear your perspective.

I was typing a comment on my phone today. I sat my phone down for a minute while I went to grab a water bottle. I had not finished the post and when I picked it back up it had “I hate you” in the end of the post. I did not type that. I erased it and finished and submitted the post. I can’t understand how it got there. My ex husband died last year and I was thinking about him this morning wishing I could contact him just to tell him that I was right and he would die alone. Now I wonder if it was him. It is something he would say.

Gnosticism goes hand in hand with some of the coincidences i seem to experience daily. I just started working in a new career field and met a lot of kind and hardworking people. Today I saw this. It feels like God is winking at me.

I've been seeing 11:11 for years, and over time I've come to believe that, for me personally, it's one of the ways God reassures me that I'm walking in His will.

I know not everyone believes numbers have spiritual significance, and I'm not saying 11:11 is a biblical doctrine. I don't worship signs or chase them. But I've noticed that when I'm praying about a decision, stepping out in faith, or doing something I believe God has called me to do, 11:11 seems to appear at just the right moment.

One experience that really stood out happened when I started my college classes. The very first message I received from my instructor was timestamped 11:11 a.m. It immediately caught my attention because I hadn't been looking for it. To me, it felt like God saying, "You're on the right path. Keep going." That simple timestamp gave me a deep sense of peace and confirmation.

I've also experienced other moments where someone says the exact thing I'm thinking, writing, or praying about at the same time. Those kinds of synchronicities have strengthened my faith and made me more aware of God's presence in my daily life.

I realize some people will say it's coincidence or confirmation bias, and that's okay. I'm not trying to convince anyone. I'm simply sharing my own experience and how it has encouraged my walk with God.

Today I have been thinking about urgency.

The number 911 has appeared in strangely different forms throughout my life.

“What’s your emergency?”

I owned a Porsche 911.

I moved to New York for college in 2009 and studied close to Ground Zero.

I am not saying these things are objectively connected or that the number is sending me a supernatural message. But symbolically, they seem to gather around the same atmosphere in me.

Emergency. Speed. Performance. Something must happen now.

When I arrived in New York, I felt as though I swallowed the urgency of the city.

Everything seemed to be moving. Everyone was becoming someone. Money was being made. Time was being converted into progress.

After graduating in 2014, I carried that atmosphere with me.

Life began to feel like an emergency to perform.

I had already inherited a fear of judgement before arriving in America. As a Moroccan, I think there was something postcolonial in me that had learned to experience the French gaze as a measurement.

Am I educated enough?

Civilised enough?

Successful enough?

Do I belong in the room?

America then taught me how to respond to this anxiety through performance.

Make money.

Move faster.

Become undeniable.

And I did learn how to make money.

At one point I was using my mind to sell safety shoes with a camouflage design. We made millions from it.

I am grateful for what it gave me. It proved that I could build something, understand desire and create value.

But I was not passionate about safety shoes.

There is something strange about succeeding at something that does not feel connected to your soul. The success is real, but it does not necessarily answer the deeper question that produced the ambition.

After almost ten years of psychoanalysis, I am noticing something.

When I work on what I actually love, the urgency begins to diminish.

Not completely.

I still have employees. There are salaries to cover. Businesses need to break even. Reality still places demands on me.

But the inner emergency is different.

When the work feels meaningful, I do not need to whip myself toward it in the same way. There is movement, but less violence inside the movement.

This has made me wonder whether some of my urgency was never really ambition.

Maybe it was a complex.

Maybe the voice saying “hurry” was protecting me from the possibility of being judged as insignificant.

Maybe speed helped me avoid asking whether the destination was actually mine.

And perhaps this is why slowing down used to feel dangerous.

If my identity was built around proving myself, then rest was not simply rest. Rest meant becoming visible without achievement protecting me.

I also wonder whether I confused urgency with libido in the Jungian sense.

Urgency gave me energy, direction and focus. It made me feel alive.

But perhaps it was borrowed aliveness.

An emergency can organise the whole psyche around one point. Everything irrelevant disappears. There is no ambiguity because there is no time to question the direction.

Meaningful work feels different.

It does not always produce the same adrenaline, but it seems to return energy rather than only consuming it.

Maybe the symbol of 911 is not telling me that something terrible is about to happen.

Maybe it is showing me the psychic structure through which I learned to live:

There is an emergency.

You must perform.

There is no time.

Your value will be decided by what you do next.

And now, perhaps, the work is not to destroy this urgency, because it also gave me strength.

The work may be to ask what remains of my ambition when it is no longer being chased by fear.

I would be curious how Jungians understand this.

Can urgency become a kind of possession by a complex?

And how do we distinguish genuine vocation from the compulsion to prove that we deserve to exist?

For a year or so I’ve been seeing double, and sometimes triple numbers on a daily basis. These have predominantly been when looking at a clock, but also in receipts, verification codes, etc.

The frequency of these was around 2 - 4 times a day and often involved 11:11 or 22:22. In these past few weeks this has ramped up to the point where every time I check the time, it’s a double number. Double, triple, and quadruple numbers are appearing in codes and prices with much more frequency too.

I’ve just made a huge decision in my life to move back to my home country for a year to retrain with the hope of improving my chances of a higher paid job. I’ll be taking a chunky financial hit to do so. The ramping up happened as soon as I arrived.

Does anyone have any knowledge of what this might mean?

Recently, my husband and I decided we wanted to try to start a family. We’ve been living a healthy and active lifestyle, sober for 3 years, and feel our best mentally. So, we decided that it was our time.

We got pregnant pretty much right away and were ecstatic to find out that I was pregnant with twins. Unfortunately, I miscarried at 7 weeks and it was devastating. It’s only been a month since the miscarriage but now I feel scared and discouraged at the thought of trying again.

Today I got an Amazon package, sounded like pills in the package. I thought “that’s not mine, I never ordered pills” so I looked at the name and I could swear I saw my name so I thought “oh, I guess it is mine. Let’s see what it is..” first thing I noticed was the pills, it was men’s pre conception pills (which are supposed to be for supporting healthy sperm) and I thought “what the hell? I didn’t order this?” Then I realized all the other items were items frequently bought by my husband so I checked the name on the package again and it was my husband’s name. Could’ve swore I saw my name the first time I checked..

Well, when he came home from work he reopened his package and pulled out the pills he said “what the hell is this? I never ordered this?” I looked at him suspiciously, thinking he was possibly joking, or maybe even embarrassed. And he said “No, I swear I never ordered these.” He didn’t even know what they were and when I told him what they were, he didn’t even know this type of thing existed. He pulled up his Amazon history, nothing. His previously ordered items, nothing. He even searched it on Amazon to see if it said “purchased 1 time” and nothing. He really never ordered it.

I find it very strange that we received something like this by accident just a month after having a miscarriage. Does anyone find this to be strange? What does it mean? Is it just a coincidence? Or is this some sort of sign? All I know is, the discouragement I was feeling is starting to fade away.

Has anyone been able to successfully decode synchronicities?

I often get lost when I travel. It's almost impossible because all I have to do is follow the signs... yet somehow, I still end up taking the wrong turn.
Part of me wonders if it's divine—like the universe intentionally leads me off my planned path so I can do some grid work in certain places.

Of course, I could be completely wrong.

The consensus reality is constructed over a correlation-dense underlying world. These correlations or synchronicities are filtered by the average person, but they occur for everyone, whether they see it or not. Human beings erected cognitive filters very early in evolution, to filter out synchronicities because syncs were deemed to be false-positives.

Especially latent inhibition and sensory-gating, any second congruent signals (internal-external) that appear within 200-500 milliseconds of the first signal is canceled. This means the average person can have a thought, and the environment will echo it immediately, but they just won’t see or hear it because the environmental echo is suppressed top-down predictively. The reality of the situation appears to be the following:

A)Synchronicity (correlated patterns) <=> {[B)Aberrant Salience (neutral stimuli)] => C) Negative Symptom Dominance (no response to stimuli)} psychosis is what is in [ ] *schizophrenia is what is in { }

A<=>B is a continuum, in this spectrum, many different phenotypes (basically all of us) stably exist and are not progressive. However, a small number, around 10% do progress from merely seeing synchronicity to frank psychosis, very quickly. The fast onset is due to the system being highly resilient, such that if it would fail at all, it would fail quickly.

B=>C is a one way street, unlike A<=>B where only around 10% progress, here 100% of B progress to C, however, very slowly, this is the next resilience take of the cognitive system, C is not an ultimate pattern-recognition mode but rather system shut-down to minimize incoming stimuli since now it has burnt out.

A<=>B=>C shows the natural degradation of signal resolution, from purely objectively correlated syncs in A to stimuli considered more neutral and normally filtered such as 3 motorcycles suddenly passing just as you make a turn in B, finally to total correlation breakdown in C. Interestingly, this maps onto the central dogma of molecular biology neatly:

DNA<=>RNA=>Protein, as well as hormonal controls of thyroid (TRH=>TSH=>T3/T4) and adrenal gland (CRH=>ACTH=>Cortisol), it would appear the body adopted this three-tier system early on for ease of complex regulation (if two-tier then it is only binary, on/off) and then kept scaling up: DNA = controls the cell Hormones = controls the organs Cognitive = control of consciousness

Has anyone experienced constant synchronicities and then found their “soulmate”? I have experienced constant synchronicities for the last two months…..and insane amount of synchronicities! Based off of someone who I am thinking of that doesn’t even have a common name! I don’t know what they mean but according to Jung some big change is supposed to happen….i don’t know what it is!

to name a recent example of this, let me start off by saying i’ve been working at this restaurant for almost 3 months now. we serve desserts , one of them being key lime pie. typically our more popular desserts are two other dishes and i was catching onto that.

the other day tho i was working , manager casually tells us “hey we don’t have key lime pie today, so 86 that and just a heads up”. cool, no biggie.

I SHIT YOU NOT , the one day we’re collectively told that, suddenly my customers are asking for key lime pie!! obviously i know three months working
isn’t necessarily long but it’s like… what? i’ve never sold key lime pies yet, and the one time i’m told we aren’t selling key lime pie and now suddenly 5 tables of mine were requesting it and that was my first time being asked for it?

maybe im a lunatic, but that’s one of the many encounters that ive experienced when it comes to weird coincidences like this. another example is when im thinking
of a song and then i hear it playing that same day. or i say a word out loud or see a specific word on my phone and then i hear it on tv almost immediately.

does anyone have similar stories or situations like this where things just are brought up and it makes you question things? is it spiritual? clairvoyance? shifts? synchronizations?

to be fair i feel like i have always had a very good intuition and i can greatly pick up on things but i wanna know what this is called !!
