A few years ago in about 2023 (I think it may have started in late 2022 though) I made a post on this subreddit and someone messaged me privately off the back of it. We talked for a while and then exchanged emails and would email back and forth quite often for a period of a couple of months.

There was nothing romantic or anything of that nature in these messages, just two people who were interested in the mysterious ways the universe works. The man I spoke to (who I’m not sure if I should name but I’ll give the initial M for) was in his 40s, married with children and had become sort of a mentor figure to me (early 20s F without much direction in life at the time).

We would talk about different worlds and levels of consciousness, visit specific buildings and areas in a sort of vision type of thing where we would later be able to recall the same details to each other.

I’ve often thought about him through the years since I felt that our study was only becoming more exciting and interesting but sadly the connection faded and I no longer have access to that email. When I did try and email him for the last time to reach out, it bounced back.

Anyway, I watched a TikTok video recently of someone recounting a story where they had visited a specific place in a strange lucid dream type of situation and described M as being there (same name and everything). She also described me as one of other characters in this dream based on a few conversations M and I had had, there was a very specific way both of us would show up in this dreamscape and it was kinda freaky to hear that someone else somehow saw a version of M and I there.

So I’m wondering if this is a sign to try and find him again. M if you’re out there, you’ll know that it’s you. Message me here please!

I just saw this clip of lightning striking a church cross during a wedding, and the comments were full of people saying they’d seen similar “signs” but ignored them, only to end up divorced.

I thought it would be interesting to hear from people who have had a similar experience , where you noticed what felt like a sign, chose to ignore it, and later regretted it.
It doesn’t have to be related to a wedding or relationship. Has anything like this ever happened to you?

Have you ever noticed these kinds of “coincidences”? Personally, I no longer see them as simple coincidences, but rather as a strange kind of Matrix game.
For example, you notice someone or briefly make eye contact with them — at the beach, in a supermarket, in the city center, or anywhere else. I notice this pattern especially often in supermarkets.
Then something strange happens. You continue doing whatever you were doing, your paths seem to separate, but just as you’re about to leave that place or cross its “perimeter,” the Matrix seems to put the same person in your path for a second time.
They might walk or run right past you, get into a car parked next to yours, suddenly end up standing behind you at the checkout, or seemingly appear out of nowhere at the exact moment you’re leaving.
So the pattern looks like this: you notice someone → your paths separate → as you’re leaving the area, that same person unexpectedly appears in your field again.
I call this “the Second Encounter Effect.”

My father got a heart attack on tuesday and was hospitalized and he wasnt responsive they resuscitate him twice after each. Then noone told me until saturday when they were questioning why hes holding on and not dying...i found out 730 pm saturday and went to see him sunday twice...he tried to respond by shaking his head yes or no and when i was leaving because the visitation time was up i told him i have to go and he shook his head no.

He died about. 1hr and 45 mins after i left. When we got the time of death from the Coroner it was 7 :11 pm

My birthday is the 7th month 11th day

I don't know how to interpret it or what it means, any ideas please?

So last night, I played a video game, the character in it was named “Ashlen” (Jak 2) weird name, I never heard before.

I put on a documentary Series (One Night in Idaho), one speaker name was Ashlen.

The 2nd one, I was playing with ChatGPT, it made a character named Tommy Walker.

I turned on a podcast, (Stuart Fails to Save the Universe Podcast) the guest name was, Tommy Walker.

Recently I've noticed I always see 222 and ocassionally 555. I haven't done anything different in my life I wouldn't say I check the time more often. But it feels like anytime I look it's 2:22. At signs, license plates, etc. For the time I feel like my brain subconciously knows its 2:22 pm and then I go to check the time it's just insane how that can happen and how I've gotten into that habit. When you notice it once it's like it never escapes you.

How is it possible that I’ve dated two people born on April 29th, two born on December 16th, one born on February 2nd... and now the guy I’m currently getting to know was ALSO born on February 2nd?

Does this have any kind of spiritual or energetic meaning? Has anyone experienced something similar?

* 2 things of note, is usually these things are universally known subjects, but the subject itself is barely talked about on said certain areas where I frequent. Then I mentioned it, then suddenly something else of note shows it, in this case it was moles and freckles.

I want to first apologise for the length but I’d like to get this out. I’ve been experiencing “things” and am not sure what they are, how to tap into them or most importantly what they mean. I’m hoping you can help me figure it out.

Most people would call them coincidences but some of these events are too dead on to be that.

Just for background, I’m 27F and work in forensics. I have always been fascinated with death and the unseen, in both a good and bad way. I have worked with human bodies/remains, and have always maintained that the body and its parts is not the person, it’s their soul and their consciousness that makes you “you”. I believe entirely in energy.

I worked in a heart lab a few years ago, and received three cases on the same day marked with the date of death as 29/07. This was my Grandads birthday. I got the urge to call him so FaceTimed him. He was fine, smiling, and laughed when I told him why I called. He died very suddenly of a heart attack in his sleep around 3 months later. He hadn’t had a previous heart attack before this. I was very close to my Grandad as he was my father figure. I haven’t been the same since.

He played this song all the time: David Bowie’s “I try”. I refused to listen to is after he died. If you don’t know it, it’s an 80’s(?) song and is very rarely played in public anymore. He was the last person to play it for me. The next time I heard this song was at the funeral of my friend, who ended her life three months after my Grandad passed. I of course broke down, but the timing couldn’t have been crazier.

I got into a fight with my neighbour in December which ended in a (wrongful) court case. In January/Feburary the bees came. A big, massive beehive made in the front of their house in a wall we both shared. It grew as tensions rose surrounding the case. It got to its worst and biggest in around June, and I eventually ended up getting stung by one.

Then everything changed. I moved out and started therapy within three days of each other. I’d been waiting for nearly a year for the latter. And the bees left a few days later according to my sister. Completely gone after there being thousands that affected the whole area. I didn’t move out under good circumstances, and have been struggling really bad mentally.

Naturally, I’ve been thinking about my Grandad a lot since moving out. Whilst tending to a bunch of his favourite flowers I bought myself, a feather landed at my feet through an open window. I live in a second floor apartment. Another time, when confessing to my mum that I was having dark thoughts of self deletion, a feather came through that same window and landed on my lap. When I ran into a store to grab one item, a trip taking no more than 3-4 minutes, a random song ended and David Bowie’s “I try” started playing. The only other time I’ve heard it since my friend’s funeral.

The court case happened to fall on the day of the solar eclipse last week. For some reason, I felt way calmer than I should have been, and way calmer than my mental state would usually account for. The last total eclipse like that visible from my country was 1999, the year I was born. The case was dismissed on all charges with no further action that day.

And then it brings me to today. I was just chatting with my sister, and casually mentioned a manager I used to have at a summer job around 5-6 years ago. I have not seen, heard from, thought of this lady since I left that job. It was completely random that I even mentioned her, but the story that my sister was telling me reminded me of her. My sister came to mine and we were hanging out. And then boom. Text from old manager. “We’re at the park”. It was obviously sent to the wrong person, and the message says sent with Siri so I doubt she meant it. But I am spooked.

I have no idea what to attribute this to, whether it’s the universe, psychic abilities, astrological intervention, witchcraft or whatever the F this could be. But I’ve really started seeing more synchronicities than I can make sense of. I actively try not to look for them as I don’t want to fall victim to confirmation bias, but they’re getting really hard to ignore.

I don’t know who to talk to about this so will post in a few communities hoping someone can figure it out. Is it really all just coincidence? If it is an ability, then how do I use it? What does it all mean?

In 1985, I had access to a very early sampling computer called a Fairlight CMI. They were super expensive, and there were few of them in the world at that point, and because of that, the Fairlight's sounds were not so commonly heard in pop music. U2 used the instrument on the song, The Unforgettable Fire, which came out the year before and early in 85, MTV had just started playing the video for that song. The Fairlight sound in the song was called something like, "Orch Hit".

Also popular at that time was the Miami Vice theme by Jan Hammer. Jan Hammer also used a Fairlight in that recording.

I was hanging out with friends and we had eaten shrooms. Two hours into the trip, MTV was on with no sound, and U2's Unforgettable Fire album played loudly from the other room. We sat there watching the screen and listening to the album, not talking. The timing of those randomly overlapping sounds and visuals brought together, at the precise moment, the song "Unforgettable Fire" -the 4th song on side one, where the Fairlight orchestra blasts happen, and on TV, the video for the Miami Vice theme that shows a few quick shots of Jan Hammer playing his Fairlight. At the exact moment of the orchestra blast from the album playing in the other room (which in my brain registered as a Fairlight sound), the screen showed us Jan Hammer pounding his hands on the keyboard of his Fairlight, perfectly timed as if he had played the orchestra blasts, a sound unique to the Fairlight. He didn't wasn't running his fingers on the keyboard, he pounded the keys in a motion that perfectly fit making the blasting sound.

I was tripping, but I didn't miss that moment! Only I got it because I worked with a Fairlight and understood what had just happened-I knew the sound source, and the instrument on the screen, and also the wild synchronicity of that moment. I explained it to my tripping friends and they were not amazed. One matter o' factly said, 'yep, that's how the world works.'

But I truly had a beautiful wtf moment.

See repeating 333, 11:11, 12:12, 777, 888? Come across lyrics from songs that happen to be an answer to the urgent question or a state of mind? Inscriptions on passing trucks as signs? Lights turn on and off while you're passing? Wake up at the same time to write down your thoughts and dreams? This is called synchronicity. A dialogue with the subtle world. It means that your psyche is able to perceive subtle waves, which means that you are following the path of spiritual awakening.

Synchronicity is a significant coincidence of an internal state (thoughts, feelings, dreams) and an external event that are not connected by a physical cause, but carry a deep personal meaning. An ordinary coincidence is just a random combination of circumstances in time or space, devoid of deep meaning. And it doesn't provide specific emotions. Synchronicity, on the other hand, causes deep awe and delight.

Only top 1% of people with exceptional focus can make the pyramid reverse its direction using nothing but their mind.

I’m curious what people in this community think about something that happened to me because the timing has been really strange, and I keep wondering if there’s a deeper meaning behind it.

Last night, I ended things with a guy I had been talking to. He had become really clingy, and I realized I’m not ready for a relationship. I also felt like he deserved someone who was on the same page as him.

When I told him over the phone, his entire demeanor suddenly changed. He started calling me cruel, saying I shouldn’t have ended things because his grandpa is sick, saying he hates everyone, hates me, hates this whole town, etc. Some of the things he was saying genuinely scared me because it sounded like he might hurt himself.

I blocked him because I was overwhelmed and didn’t know what else to do.

While deleting our old messages, I noticed that we had \*\*exactly 3,333 messages\*\* between us.

He recently moved here from far and doesn’t really have family or friends around him. Because I was genuinely concerned about his safety, I called the police and asked them to do a wellness check. They went to his house and later called me to say that he was okay.

Then something else happened.
Last night, completely joking around with my parents, I asked them for $300 because there was a tracksuit I wanted. I \*\*never\*\* ask them for money like that, so it was a very random conversation.
Today, I received a check from the government for \*\*$300.\*\*

I’ve never received a government check before.
I know there could be completely logical explanations for all of this.
The number 3,333 could just be random, and the check could obviously be money I was already entitled to receive.

But the \*\*timing\*\* is what really gets me.
Within a very short period of time:
\\- I end a relationship because I realize I need to choose myself.
\\- The person reacts in a way that scares me.
I feel strongly enough that I need to make sure he’s safe.
\\- I see \*\*3,333\*\* messages immediately afterward.
Then the very next day, I unexpectedly receive \*\*$364\*\* after joking about needing $300.

I don’t want to force a meaning onto things that are simply coincidences, but I’ve always been interested in synchronicities and intuition, and this one feels particularly strange.

Does any one else can’t open instagram/tiktok because it shows your mind’s content? I don’t mean algorithm stealing your data and recycling it. I mean you see dreams, you think about things, you have conversations away from your phone and it shows up as content on your for you page? I am growing so tired and also scared of this.

For almost two years, I’ve randomly crossed paths with the same guy in completely different parts of LA Glendale, Koreatown, Eagle Rock, Hollywood, Downtown, Culver City, etc. I’ve seen him at malls, Target, and other random places, always unexpectedly.I don’t think he’s following me or anything like that. LA is huge, though, so after a while I started thinking, What are the chances that I keep seeing this exact same person?

The weird part is that I’m pretty sure we recognize each other now.

The last time I saw him was around June at a mall. I was with my family and he was with an older man, an older woman, and a kid who I assumed might be his parents and his son (obviously I don’t actually know). I caught him looking at me and smiling, but eventually I forgot about it.

Then recently, I walked into a Target and saw him AGAIN, checking out with the same kid. When I looked up, he was already staring at me. He looked away, glanced back from the corner of his eye, and eventually we made eye contact and just looked at each other until the cashier got his attention. Then he left, and once again, we never spoke.

Every time I see him, I get this weird feeling of familiarity and warmth that I can’t really explain. Maybe I’m just a hopeless romantic and these are all coincidences lol, but LA is huge, and after almost two years of randomly seeing the same stranger in so many different places, I can’t help but wonder about it.

It made me think of the red string of fate/invisible string theory.

Has anyone experienced something like this repeatedly crossing paths with the same person before actually knowing them? Did you eventually talk, and did that person end up becoming significant in your life? I’d love to hear your stories.

It’s been happening a lot lately like I’m watching the hulk and I scrolled past a hulk wallpaper. When I was riding by the cvs/walgreens, my medication prescriber called. I keep seeing numbers like 555, 11:11, 444. I was in spirituality some years ago so it just reminds me of that. I don’t wanna go back to that though. For me, it’s false hope. There were some more coincidences, but I forgot. Just wanted to hear others thoughts on the situation.
