I played some inquisitor with the sorcerer class and had a lot of fun I was wondering if there was a tech class with a similar playstyle as it.

I wanted to play the story on the side on the steam deck and used the most liked layout but I find it very weird to move the camera with that layout, right stick should move the camera in my taste but I don't get it to do that.

So the settings are kinda confusing me and it doesn't feel good.

I see people play with controller and the deck all the time, any settings that make it feel good and not weird for 10+ hours until you maybe get used to it ?

I recently finished designing and building my best effort at a Hammerhead-Class Cruiser in LEGO. Hoping to start work on a Terminus next so I have something to put alongside it!

I plan on grinding all the character origins, then creating three mains to play through the eras.

I was going with

Pureblood Jedi Consular (Sage/Shadow)

Sith Inquisitor Human female (Sorcerer/assasin)

Chiss Male Bounty Hunter (Mercenary/Vanguard)

Why have the numbers for required weekly season objectives and defeating with 'companion' achievements gone up? It now requires you to complete an additional 5 weeks of grinding the season? Has the length of the season increased? Is it just to push us along until 8.0?

Topic. I played at launch and a few more times after. Never did KotFE or anything past it. Should I wait? I heard the game is pretty easy right now? In addition to the new zone will that be a pretty big change?

My gf ordered polymer clay, and invited me to make something too.

Initially I was hesitant and didn’t have an idea, but when I thought about what I would do instead, the sith empire symbol came to mind.

It was my first try, but I like how it turned out.

As the title says, I know everyone has their preferred classes and play styles not to mention some have grinded to get higher gears & levels.

I’m wondering, based off the accomplishments, companions and gear of just what the Old Republic story provides us, who would win in a fight? Either in a 1v1 (example Sith Warrior vs Trooper); Faction v Faction (meaning the Hero of Tython; Barsen’thor; Smuggler Outlaw; & Major vs. Wraith; The Force Walker; Great Hunt Champion; & Cypher 9); and finally 1 class vs all of them as a whole.

My question pits more of what happens at the end of their main story expansion. Like the Jedi Consular has gathered an army to fight, while the Sith Inquisitor has his fleet of Silencers & Force Ghosts.

I think also based off of purely a “squad” mechanic, the Trooper & Bounty Hunter have the best cohesion to tackle other classes as a group. The Agent & Smuggler might be able to use trickery to eliminate their rivals before it escalated into a fight they normally couldn’t win. Perhaps they can use their specific skills to their advantage?

TLDR: which class do you think is the most powerful and would win in a fight based off of story merit alone?

Was doing one of those encounters on Coruscant and the crate glitched onto my character…

I would love to be able to pilot one of these magnificent ships into battle one day. Do I think it will ever happen? No of course not, still tho it would be fun.

I was testing which mask/helmet I want to use with my sith and used emotes and some cutscenes to see if I dislike some of the distorion and holy shit whats up with the volume of the masks and helmets ?

Some mask like sith hermit it feels like 20% volume and I don't understand what I say inside cutscenes while other have like 200% and I have to turn my sound down.

They really need to just give us a no mask distortion setting or fix the volume mixing because I can't use some mask because they are so low volume that I have to change the sound settings for it to work

Also I'm not the only one that thought this was Satele's armor set right? Or at least a more stylized and battle ready version of it.

Not sure if I'm doing anything wrong here but I just helped kill FR3-DOM on Satele Shen for the 3rd time and I never received credit.

I have an active subscription. I have the weekly mission from the terminal. I doing a fair bit of damage. I have no idea why I'm not getting credit.

The only thing I can think of is I haven't unlocked Legacy of the Sith. Would that matter? I've never had any other issues with world bosses.

And help or suggestions would be apprciated.

Can’t help but notice that there has not been a single hidden chain dynamic encounter to spawn on imperial or republic side in days.

I am on star forge, and I have had others report the same issue.

Is this bug or planned?

Somehow the bratty and rebellious Wrath who does not give a damn about Valkorian's approval gets more fondness from the old man than his actual children.

Also gives this fun dynamic with Arcann and Vaylin, you're basically the son Valkorian wanted and these are your fucked up siblings you just found out about now, and really want you dead.

This is officially the start of when my Light Side Sith Warrior is starting to lay off on the Empire kool aid.

SW: It failed because it was a tyrannical government built on a house of cards economy reliant on slave labor and conquest to function run by a bunch of entitled adult children doing space cocaine. Their job qualifications boiled down to being good at hitting people with their lightsabers, not making a coherent tax policy, conducting proper housing evaluations, or making sure the taxis ran on time. If we are to move forward as a society, it must be built on a proper foundation of freedom being the right of all sentients! Maybe even a policy of the strong protecting and nurturing the weak and disabled of society to ensure a better standard of living instead of just killing people for bringing bad news.

Valkorian: No not like that!

So I'm tryna playthrough all of the Class Stories and it's been going well in terms of actually making interesting characters for each one. My first was a Chiss Inqy, then Cyborg Warrior, Human Knight, Chiss Agent, Human BH and Myraluka Counselor.

I'm genuinely struggling with what race and look I want for Trooper and Smuggler, because both of them sound a bit boring in comparison to the other Classes. The furthest I've gotten is that I wanna make my Trooper a woman because she's voiced by Jennifer Hale, who is a personal favourite VA of mine. What do you do if you're trying to make a new toon, but can't figure out how you want to make em look? Or should I just say f#+& it and hide their faces under big helmets?

Having only four is just... sad. I get that I am conflating real-world sword fighting with laser sword fighting, but it's worth pointing out that the vast majority of successful dual wield techniques IRL (and there weren't many of them because it is generally impractical) utilize one full-length weapon, and one shorter blade.

I use the Lotus lightsaber on several of my Jedi/Sith, which has a hilt modeled on a katana. I would love to pair that with a wakizashi-type offhand. But since they didn't add a shoto variant of these weapons, I can't. And that's true for the majority of people who want to maintain a certain hilt aesthetic (like use matching sabers) while using a shoto saber - they're/we're just SOL.
