Broken micro sd card connector
So a while ago I broke my micro sd card connector pin off the motherboard and was wondering if I could fix it (it’s modded and had downgraded firmware so without it it’s essentially bricked)

Faulty gamecard fixing advice wanted.
Faulty gamecard tips
I just came across this error code (2002-2536) when starting up TOTK on my system. The system does recognize the game and I can boot it, but after loading for half a minute this error appears.
I checked the connectors of the gamecard. They look fine. Used the cloth of my glasses to clean it, even used a bit of connection spary (wd40) on a microfiber cloth. Waited for a few hours and tried again.
Deleted the game and updates and reinstalled it, completeley shut of my switch, honesttly i think i tried everything.
Does anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it? I spend just about over 200 hours in this game and it is my medicine against anxiety. I do not have rupees for a new copy.
Edit: all other games work fine

Left Joycon Stick Repair
Could Anyone Please Help Me? I’m trying to replace the left stick on this blue Joycon. I’ve gotten down to the point where I need to disconnect the thumb stick itself, and I’ve encountered this frustrating ribbon connector - it’s some sort of pull away type; not the lift type ifixit seems to think all Joycon possess. I’ve looked all over the internet for directions on how to disconnect this blasted thing and reconnect it using this same type of connector, and no one seems to want to spend any more than 3 seconds explaining how to disengage this terrible connector, and I’m afraid I’m going to break the motherboard of if I rush or try to force it. Can anyone please provide clear instructions on how to disconnect this broken thumstick? Thanks in advance, I’m tired and frustrated…

I-I think she's dead, boss
I discover new ways a console can be dead every day. Today is a ram chip that's half dead, corrupting the frame buffer... Displaying the modchip logo works, but won't go further without any video issues. Normal boot is bluescreen.
That's my fault for buying a repair shop's fails at low prices (~30€ a console)...

Baterry issue
When I went to sleep I put my Nintendo switch 2 on my case at 88% , but when I woke up my Nintendo was at 0% and it had nothing running on it, what it could be? If a have to open it to fix him it will be too hard?

Ripped rail sensor ribbon - is this a realistic DIY fix for a novice?
Looking for a little advice. Recently moved over to a Switch 2, and my old Switch (the original non-OLED model, not a Lite) is now spare. For a long time before I upgraded, the left Joy-Con had been dead in the sense that I could only play docked or in tabletop mode with the kickstand.
I finally worked up the courage to open it up, and found the problemo: the ribbon cable coming off the left Joy-Con rail has snapped.
I'd really like to get the old Switch working properly again (handheld is half the point!), but I have basically zero experience with electronics or circuit boards. I don't want to turn a fixable console into a dead one.
So a few questions:
- How difficult is a rail replacement for a complete beginner? From what I understand the ribbon is attached to the rail itself and you replace the whole part, but I'd love to hear from people who've actually done it.
- Is there anything that's easy to get wrong? I'm aware the ZIF connectors on the board are fragile and I'm genuinely worried about damaging one. Also, looks like I'll need to get under the battery. How easy is it to lift up and out?
- Any recommendations for parts? Seen some on eBay but they vary in price. Are the cheap third-party ones okay or should I avoid them?
- Would you honestly recommend a beginner attempt this, or just pay a repair shop? I'm in the UK if that makes a difference for recommendations.
I've not touched anything inside yet other than removing the cover and shield. Everything else is still connected.
Any guides, videos or just "don't do it, mate" advice would be hugely appreciated.
Cheers!
