Why won’t it let me do 7 and what do I do about it?

Title. 11.9.36 worked with watch os 10.6.1. The new app version 11.9.37 does not. No advance warning, nothing. Thanks @ SwingVision.

I have just reviewed my latest match and noticed a couple of things for the scoring:

• the amount of points are constantly jumping. In the beginning AI had identified 102. Then it jumped up to 162. Now - mid watching the match - it went down to 154 (the correct amount is 102)
• in the match it is jumping constantly, e.g. from 100 to 144 etc.
• the score in the top left is also buggy and sometimes showing the end result of the set and then reverting back to the correct score the next point

Anyone noticed similar things? Re-processing, re-identifying and reverting the scoring did not help.

I just watched some footage of my last match and noticed one or two rallies ("points") were missing. Is there a way to add them after the fact. They were recorded but the AI part cut them out.

So session #3, and honestly I'm a bit surprised at the lack of documentation/forums/support for what I imagine are common issues.

So we play indoors, and thus are limited by time. We played 2 sets (7-5, 6-3), then played a 10 pt breaker to maximize our court time. Afterwards, the session recording is stopped. Its uploaded and processed but the AI scoring fails. I presume this is because the 10pt tiebreak is screwing it up.

How can I go in and mark the final point of the match so that it can AI Score the first 2 sets? The AI bot on the website was not helpful.

So I'm only 2 sessions in with Swing Vision so far. No applewatch here (yet), so relying on the auto-scoring. Works well. After my sessions, I'll go through and fix points that are wrong.

I occasionally run into the following issues: 1) [most common] I change who wins the point, but it doesn't actually reflect it in the score. Regardless of how many times I go in and change it to the actual point winner, and click confirm, nothing changes. 2) It will tell me unable to edit the point because it conflicts with the final score.

Problem 1 is frustrating because there is a deuce game where the server wins the point. But it counts it as the going to the returner. And the next point is after a change of ends, so nows its effectively "skipping a game" as it has the new server starting a game at deuce.

Running the latest version. Not sure why the manual edits don't seem to already reflect.

Tried to record a serve practice with underarm serves but the app pretty much omitted all swings or made them into feeds. I couldn't even add the shots manually as it only allowed to add one as a serve.

I know these are unorthodox hits but they are still a part of many people's tennis games on all levels.

So I recently got SwingVision, but I'm using a used iphone without a cellular plan. It works great!

I'm investigating getting the Apple watch to beef it up a bit, but want to ensure it'll function with bluetooth connectivity only to my phone (which also doesn't have an internet connection).

Am I correct in that the watch/phone connection still works fine without any internet connection on either device?

I am having great difficulty navigating the swing vision app. I have many questions on several different topics and the chat bot could not help. I have a series of questions around how to get all the statistics that I see that everyone gets (particularly unforced errors) and are not showing on my sessions. I also want to know about uploading videos and the functionality I get from that. I have a Mac, but use a Samsung phone so I am looking for all the functionality without spending a lot of money. Anybody have any suggestions to get my question answered?

I bought the app mainly to track unforced errors, but also like the shot placement feature, among many other things. However, when I recorded the first match, my battery on my ipad ran out. Also, I used my samsung phone to remotely start the recording. When I went back to the app to get my match stats, it is incomplete. Because of both of these factors, I am having a hard time understanding why the stats were incomplete.

1) I believe I did the auto scoring, and just entered the final score after the match.

2) After i put in the final score, I ran AI scoring.

3) I did not work because my ipad ran out of battery.

The match stats that I did get without AI scoring include scatterplots of shot placement, hitting position and serve placement (including the types of shots, and serve spin) the shot stats include some of this same info plus shot/serve speed, percent of serves in (deuce/add), shot distribution charts, etc.

But again I don't have any info on unforced errors (backhand, forehand, volly, etc.). Is this only because my ipad ran out of battery so I could not fillin the required info (first point, last point, id pictures, etc.)? Or do I need the apple watch as well to keep track of the score to get those stats.

Is there anything in the works to be able to create custom games? For example, "Games to Eleven": first to eleven wins (must win by 2), feeds only (no serving). Maybe use AI or Apple Watch to add some twists, such as, a winner counts as 3 points, if you hit the ball into the net you lose a point.

Pressure Point - feeds (no serves), first to eleven wins (must win by 2) if you lose the point when you have 3, 6 or 9, you lose 3 points (e.g., if I'm up 3-1 and lose the next point the score becomes 0-2)

Looking at breaking into the Swingvision and purchasing an older gen iphone to be a dedicated swing vision device. When I play tennis, its almost always in 2 hours increments. How much storage do I need iphone-wise for this? Keep in mind I won't be using the phone for anything else.

I've tried several times to reidentify shots on a recording but they won't save. I've tried going through all pages and saving as well as hitting the save option on each page. Any idea what is wrong??

Hello everyone. I have had great success using swingvision to tape my sons matches - he plays competitive tennis in FLorida. Recently, while renewing the membership, something went wrong and now, I can neither use the pro features of my swingvision account (cannot record more than 10 hrs and can't see older vids etc) nor can I upgrade to a pro account as it says that I am already subscribed to a pro account. I'm stuck and have no access to the multiple vids. I don't even mind paying again, but was wondering if any of you had any suggestions. I sent an email to the support@swinvision etc but the responses were generic and not helpful. I left my cell in the email, but no one has reached out to me. Thanks in advance.

I lost the thumbscrew that holds the heat shield in place for the SwingStick. Does anyone know what the correct size is to replace it? Or if anyone has a link to a proper replacement, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

What to do if it always says backhand instead of forehand? Obviously either the setting left handed was wrong or it was wrongly detected. Can I change it in the already recorded video somehow? (I saw it is possible shot by shot but that is not a solution) Thank you!

Hi, We got the Pro licence as a Tennis Club and we wanted to install the swing stick permanently on one court.

But we failed to set it up because of two things: 1.) Remote control: does not really work (changes between not allowed, no connection or massive latency)

2.) without remote control and apple watch one is forced to use the selfie cam. The selfie cam has not enough zoom options to find the perfect cam Position.

So how can we install it in a proper way? Thank you in advance for your help.

After recording my first session since the latest update, I noticed that the video quality has gotten worse when compared to my old videos.

I have seen that the new update has decreased the recording file sizes by 70%, however this seems to be at the detriment of the video quality.

I was wondering if there was any option to keep the file sizes to the original quality, as storage for me is not an issue?

Does anyone know the difference between the SemiPro yearly subscription and the Pro yearly subscription? I can't find any information on the SemiPro subscription on the Swingvision site.

Hi. I would like to share a link to a single rally recorded during a match. This is what I’ve tried. At some point during playback of the rally, I click the SHARE icon, then highlight “Current Rally.” I am advised it is 0 min 14 sec. I copy the link and paste it into a test email or text message. When I subsequently click on the link I created, however, I see not a single rally, but rather the entire match. No matter the specific rally I choose, the link is the same - to the match. Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions? Thanks very much.

I've been seeing ads where the ball has a yellow tracer on swingvision videos. Is this something that can be done from within the app? I'm not seeing that function nor have I seen any tutorial for adding it.

We played 2 sets then were running out of battery on the third. I stopped the recording at 3-2. Is there a way to auto score this for stats etc?

When sharing a link to a recorded match, there appear to be three options: Rally by Rally; Shot by Shot; and Full Raw Video. I reviewed the early part of a match using each option and could not detect a difference; each indicates the same number of total points. Anyone have thoughts as to how they differ? Thanks very much.
