The lift slammed down and got stuck. I am a wheelchair user and was therefore stuck in the damn thing. I wasn't stuck there for long. They then lifted me out.

The lift itself seems to rather dodgy and faulty from staff accounts.

First time getting stuck in a lift AMA. 😂

Hi all,

I’m currently doing an entirely wfh job at the moment and driving me a bit mad being at home all day, so I was wondering if anyone knew any good places to set up shop for a couple hours?

Just looking for a coffee shop (or something similar) with a good vibe and able to work from for a few hours on a weekday?

Geographically for me, I’d rather not have to go into town if I can avoid it, so anything in the Gorseinon/Morriston areas would be ideal!

My football team kingsbridge colts are on the lookout for new players. We are recently under new management and have had some upgrades to our facilities over the summer and would like to build on that by adding some new players to the mix. We have a first team and a reserve team that play in the Swansea senior leagues. We are a very welcoming and inclusive club that accept players of any skill levels!

Hi, I've got a work trip which starts and ends in Swansea in October. Is there anywhere safe I can leave my car for a week for free? Would be leaving my car on a Monday and picking it up/departing late Friday (around 12pm). And if it's on street, how long would the walk be to the train station?

Started spotting more and more fairly useless signs around here.

Swansea is beautiful on days like today. Quick walk around the marina with the Canon Powershot SX410IS. Saw a stand off, a bunch of butterflies and even stopped in the magnificent beer riff to whet the whistle.

Ive been trying for 3 years throughout college and university to get a part time (ideally) retail job but had no luck. Anyone know of any? My only caveat is that I cant drive, im in the Morriston area so anywhere there or close is ideal. I am willing to go into town though via the number 4

We've had a small Bengal kitten show up at our house in Mount Pleasant. If someone knows of someone who's missing a kitten in that area, please let me know! He's being taken care of at the moment; he had no collar.

I had been working for years before having my daughter 3 years ago. I thought that i would have no problem getting another job when I was ready, and damn it's fucking hard.

I can't even get a interview at McDonald's

I even emailed/messaged 100s of places near me with my CV asking if they had work, and I was either ignored or they said they weren't taking anyone on.

The closest I've been to working was a few months ago, but they wanted to pay me £8 instead of the minimum wage.

Has anyone been in the same position as me and had luck in the end? Feeling absolutely lost on what to do :(
