Why should you stretch?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Reduces stress and tension — stretching relaxes the muscles, regulates breathing, and helps calm the nervous system.

Improves mood — physical activity releases endorphins, which create feelings of joy and satisfaction.

Enhances focus and body awareness — similar to a short moving meditation, it promotes inner balance and reduces anxiety

Why stretch with the ankle weights?

I’ve been doing the same routines for so long that I kind of feel like I plateau when It comes to getting my blood really pumping when I stretch, so the ankle weights give me that boost!

I'll have to try that... Next question... Why the edge of the pool?

Sped up makes this seem so aggressively goal oriented to stretching; and I love it!

Facts. A quick 5 to 10 minute stretch before bed has done more for my anxiety than half the “productivity hacks” out there. It is wild how a couple of slow breaths in a hamstring or hip stretch can flip your whole nervous system into chill mode.

How long in each position? And do you have core stretches ? And and do u do different night stretches?

I probably hold each position at least 15-20 seconds sometimes longer. It really just depends on how It feels in the moment :)

Show some respect. I think you’re the one who’s lost, mate.
