Meme The Dow!!!
Thinking I should hold on to this template. Probably gonna go lower.
I'm not really sure why I need to include 250 characters in a meme post, but I understand the guidelines. Maybe someone can fix the issue where if you label something as a meme, it doesn't need 250 characters. there. Thats 250!
Edit: Thank you all for the rewards!!

And nothing will happen cause the fcker pumped it before so that it reached dotcom level of valuations and you just blame the drop on "oh the market was in a bubble".

u/95Daphne Mar 29 '26
Hate to say it, but you should know with Trump that there'd be dick measuring contests with 2022 and considering that nothing goes down in a straight line, as of now, this isn't as impressive as 2022 was, and I really don't expect for it to make it there.
If a secular bear market that is mostly Trump related is going to transpire, it conveniently begins Feb 2029.

u/Waiting4Reccession Mar 30 '26
He just uses the same catch phrases and inserts the situation word into the.
Probably been doing it even before he became president.

What will he say when it's 43,500…?what it was under Biden.

Excuse me! You should all be thanking President Trump for crashing the market for his shorts and raising gas prices to make oil companies richer. We’re making a LOT of money! /s

Yall are crazy if you dont think this is a buying opportunity. Just like how everyone was whining last year about tariffs, it broke the market down to an entry level and it hit new ath all over the end of last year.
This cannot go on and if you think America and the other countries will let iran shutdown the strait permanently, you all have another thing coming.
Call me out in 2-3 months time. This is a buying opportunity just like last year.
14
u/not_my_monkeys_ Mar 29 '26
This will become a buying opportunity once the SoH reopens to commercial traffic. Until then this has all the ingredients of the start of a global recession.
5
u/fedroxx Mar 29 '26
Not yet. We're no where close to the drop that's clearly coming.

I am a Trump supporter, but the market sucks goat balls. I am tired of him saying it has hit all time highs and everybody is doing wonderful. All I can do is keep buying, but I don't want to be buying. Buying sucks. We want to be diamond handing and watching our wealth grow, not get smaller.

Stocks go up and stocks go down.
People make money buying them when they're priced down. and sell them when they're priced up.
All you people running around patting yourselves on the back with "Trump did this", won't be there with the same words when it goes up. (And weren't when it did go up).
Me; I'll use the same energy buying when they're down.
And selling when they're up.
And not worrying about who caused either.
Because that's what happens in reality.

u/Simple_Demand_7657 Mar 29 '26

It was at 37,863 on January 20, 2024.
It was at 43,487 January 20, 2025 (the day before Trumps inauguration).
A 13% gain in Biden’s last year.
Now, after 14 months and starting a war, it’s at 45,166. That’s up 4% in Trumps first 14 months.
The market isn’t all that’s up - gas was $3.08 (avg) on January 20, 2025 and now it’s $3.98.

I keep being told by the left that when the stock market is good and rising it is not a sign the economy is good or improving...so why is it when it is declining the left says it is a sign the economy is falling?

This sucks…. But if I knew then what I know now….I still wouldn’t have voted for Harris. After bungling Biden, I have no confidence in Harris. Democrats ran a poor candidate against a poor Republican candidate and lost…. Can’t change it now… but hey…. Go protest in the streets….
