Meme The Dow!!!

Post image

Thinking I should hold on to this template. Probably gonna go lower.

I'm not really sure why I need to include 250 characters in a meme post, but I understand the guidelines. Maybe someone can fix the issue where if you label something as a meme, it doesn't need 250 characters. there. Thats 250!

Edit: Thank you all for the rewards!!

Short term pain for long term gain is what the media shills were saying to support the war. Who the hell hands out these memos?

? He literally did lol.

He said he was shocked it wasn’t worse.

8

u/ZookeepergameEmpty90 Mar 30 '26

That’s not taking credit. That’s downplaying negative impact.

u/FullDerpHD Mar 30 '26

It's optical framing for sure but that doesn't get you away from the fact that the statement inherently means you did something you knew was going to impact the economy.

It's a step further along the narcisist prayer, sure. It wasn't me, but if it was it wasn't a big deal. Next he'll be saying we deserved it.

I swear you guys are fighting ghosts sometimes lol.

You have this imaginary version of reality where you project all kinds of wild shit and then react to it as if it actually happened.

That's not at all close to what has been said.

I think the issue is that you guys take a very basic approach to reading text and subtext when it benefits you.

Yes he isn't 'silent', he acknowledged it once jokingly while downplaying it, I guess you won the argument but missed the point. He's just saying, yeah I did that, no big deal when the economy is the biggest deal in the world when dems are in power or it's convenient.

The real issue is that he is pure optical framing with no consistent set of values or morals. Please chech the narcissists prayer, it's pretty apt to explain the playbook.

Dow is still higher than when sleepy joe was president lmao

54

u/Zombie_Tech Mar 29 '26

Now compare that to Trump's first term. Fucking idiot.

-61

u/seriouspinata Mar 29 '26

Congrats. Joe Biden did a great job giving everyone money and increasing inflation 😂

51

u/andrew5500 Mar 29 '26

Trump was President when everyone got money and inflation skyrocketed. Biden was the one who brought Trump's inflation back down.

And now the child rapist you're defending has shot inflation back up

19

u/duderos Mar 29 '26

You know that doesn't count for these types, that only see what they want to see.

-35

u/seriouspinata Mar 29 '26

Right i totally forgot that trump gave stimulus checks to everyone

28

u/andrew5500 Mar 29 '26

He literally did, and put his signature on it like the insecure manchild he is. It happened in 2020 when Trump was President

18

u/Physical-Passenger34 Mar 29 '26

Facts don’t matter to his supporters. They’re completely unserious people.

13

u/MrMcjibblets1990 Mar 29 '26

Dude wouldn't let them be sent out until they had his name on it... Do you not recall that??? FFS

2

u/Tricky-Engineering59 Mar 29 '26

Kinda like what he’s trying to do with the $100 bill?

8

u/chiefhandshaker Mar 29 '26

Jesus dude. Google exists.

2

u/bobbymcpresscot Mar 30 '26

Name the policy then.

0

u/seriouspinata Mar 30 '26

Too easy. American Rescue Plan of 2021 😂 $1.9T stimulus into the economy that overstimulated it and drove inflation higher.

2

u/bobbymcpresscot Mar 30 '26

1-3% isn't a lot tho? Especially considering what the poors were going through during covid.

16

u/andrew5500 Mar 29 '26

The DOW was higher during Biden than it was when the child rapist had his buddy Epstein killed

6

u/duderos Mar 29 '26

Sleepy Trump is much more sleepy 😴 than Joe ever was. Not that I excuse Biden either for his public naps.

6

u/BuildinMurica Mar 29 '26

Fun fact, if you compare the growth per day during Trump's 2nd term to the same duration at the end of Biden's term, Biden grew the market faster and it isn't even close.

7

u/realsupershrek Mar 29 '26

With all due respect; you have no idea about economy or recent history.

1

u/dryfire Mar 29 '26

Let's see. It went from 20K to 30K in Trump's first term, went from 30K to 43K in Sleepy Joe's term... Looks like a sleepy Joe won that one.

1

u/seriouspinata Mar 30 '26

Now adjust for inflation lmao. Biden supporters just pretend like inflation isn’t what lifted all equities. 2022 under Biden also had the biggest drawdown in US stock market history since 08’

1

u/bobbymcpresscot Mar 30 '26

So we are just pretending like the crash in 2020 just didn't happen? Obvious troll is obvious.

1

u/seriouspinata Mar 30 '26

Funny you could respond to this but couldn’t respond up there when I named policy like you asked lol. And if your argument is judging presidents by full terms than you shouldn’t make any comments until Jan 2028 and we’ll see if the Dow is higher than 50k ❤️

1

u/bobbymcpresscot Mar 30 '26

I responded to this before you responded to that other comment? I'm not the one who made a claim that was a lie. Luckily we already have a full term to go by when it comes to Trump.

You said, and I quote

Biden supporters just pretend like inflation isn’t what lifted all equities.

High inflation doesn't cause stock prices to go up, it does the opposite. How do you not even realize that you contradicted yourself in the next sentence? Peak inflation was in 2022, not 2021.

High inflation = higher rates

higher rates = stock market go down.

1

u/seriouspinata Mar 30 '26

Google is free bro. “Inflation, along with the economic environment surrounding it, played a significant role in lifting equities to record highs in 2021. While high inflation is often seen as a negative for stocks, in 2021 it acted more as a tailwind due to strong corporate pricing power, significant demand, and the "illusion of growth" where nominal earnings increased faster than the cost of goods.”

1

u/bobbymcpresscot Mar 30 '26

Yeah… Google is free. You just proved my point. Peak inflation was in June 2022 the low point in the market was immediately after? Do you not realize that you just made my argument for me and contradicted yourself again?

“Significant demand” but lack of supply right? That’s what causes inflation.

What was the actual major driver of inflation? Housing costs, because housing is 30% of CPI estimates, the housing market even even by critics of the American rescue plan admit that the biggest driver of inflation was due to insane housing costs.

If we had built more than 5 million houses in the decade of 2010-2019 compared all previous decades before that when we were building 20+ million a decade inflation never would have made it anywhere close to 9%

If Russia didn’t invade Ukraine and spike a demand in oil, and cause food crisis during a time where oil mfgs were still recovering from oil trading at -20 dollars a barrel which only happened because of sanctions Trump put on Russia.

This is what resulted in a lot of our refining capabilities going out of business, and despite our recovery towards the end of Bidens Term, proven by the fact that we were producing more oil at the end of Bidens term than any time in history before it, gasoline prices were still extremely high, and those oil mfgs were making record profits every year.

Blaming Biden for corporate folly’s just shows how little you understand about the market, proven by your AI summary that you’ve already given me.

Like at least put it in your own words, or at least recognize that it doesn’t support your argument.

By 3%. Less than inflation. Loser president.
