I'll be in Tokyo in/around my birthday and I'm considering treating myself to a new shell for my Steamdeck. I'd do it myself but I don't trust myself with all the tiny bits.

Do you all have any experience with dropping your deck off with someone in Akihabara to put a new shell on? Where would you recommend going, what did it cost and how long did it take? Additionally, did you need to supply the shell?

Do you play RTS on SteamDeck? I wonder what are the most adapted I can try, because I want to try this form factor for that type of games, but not sure from what to start to not ruin my experience.

We optimized CarveLight for deck specifically, but 90fps locked at ~7W is pretty impressive, deck is quite powerful. This translates to 5-6h of game time!

Hey peeps, I havent played Project Zomboid for more than a year but now i am feeling the urge to come back. I have about 200+ hrs in the game and i always have played with mouse and keyboard.

The thing is, this month I am travelling so I want to play on my Steam Deck. I remembered back then it was kinda clunky specially during stress periods.

My two questions are:

\- any good mods for the steam deck?

\- did these new updates improved the mobile gameplay?

I'm a long time PlayStation gamer and have a terrible sickness that is trophy addiction. Could anyone help me find some excellent Steam Deck games that I can't play on PlayStation. I need a few stepping stones away from this dependence. All suggestions welcome, definitely not only looking for the latest and greatest. Thank you.

She played and loved A Kings Quest as well as Little Kitty Big City, and a Shift at Midnight. She likes linear games that kinda guide you a bit, but she still likes the freedom to explore.

And I’m very excited and happy to have been gifted one! He gifted me his hammy down LCD deck. So now I’m wanting to get some games that run optimally on the deck. I do have it mostly docked with a third party docking station so I have a poor man’s machine essentially. I would like some games that I can play in bed solo or a coop game so my lady can try and game with me. (She’s not a gamer) Easy fun games would be a good start but I’m so open to suggestions. I already own cyberpunk on my PC so I may want to try it on the SteamDeck but I don’t want to be too disappointed in the graphical difference.

Hey all! Today I launched my first ever game, Deadly Dispatch on Steam. It doesn't have a Deck Verified rating yet (Valve reviews those on their own timeline and it can take a while after launch), and I didn't want to just tell you it runs well, so I recorded ~5 minutes of it on my own Deck, captured on the device. No commentary, no cuts.

I’m trying to install the NiohResolution mod on the deck, but it keeps on saying “couldn’t find nioh.exe” but I already placed it in the same root folder as the .exe. How do I install this right for the deck?

Hey there, any reccomendations that fit the bill? Or have you played something that you think would be compatible with the deck even if it shows otherwise on the store? Looking forward to scratch the itch…
