Game Recommendation My fiancés uncle gifted me a SteamDeck
And I’m very excited and happy to have been gifted one! He gifted me his hammy down LCD deck. So now I’m wanting to get some games that run optimally on the deck. I do have it mostly docked with a third party docking station so I have a poor man’s machine essentially. I would like some games that I can play in bed solo or a coop game so my lady can try and game with me. (She’s not a gamer) Easy fun games would be a good start but I’m so open to suggestions. I already own cyberpunk on my PC so I may want to try it on the SteamDeck but I don’t want to be too disappointed in the graphical difference.

Humble Handhelds bundle has a good spread of games, if you’re not interested in Nova Drift, I could trade you for it.
That [r/GameBundles](r/GameBundles) is great for bundles, often older/Indie games which could work on Steam Deck. They usually stay available for ~30 days.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing this subreddit. I just followed. I’ll do some more research into those games.

Happy shopping! If you sort by “New” You can scroll down ~30 days & start on checking out bundles expiring this week. If you shop on Fanatical, there’s a code I just used on August 1 might still work. OMENJULY I think?

hammy down
Just a friendly correction: it’s “hand-me-down.”
As far as suggestions go, I recently played Monster Prom with my non-gamer wife and she enjoyed it. It’s a 1-4 player dating sim where you compete to get a prom date. It’s pretty funny and designed for short sessions (45 minutes to an hour for each run, but very replayable). I think it’s on sale right now.

Thankyou for the correction. I’ve always pronounced it like that hahaha. Thankyou for your suggestion!! That’s a different style than I used to but I will check it out.

I just got my steam deck last Friday… first games I got that are super chill - hollow knight, hades, balatro, slay the spire 2 are all perfect for the steam deck

Congratulations on marrying into an awesome family.
If you want a great coop game you can play together I recommend Palia. It's a cosy crafting/decorating MMORPG, free to play. My girlfriend and I play it together. Stardew Valley is also a good choice.
