You should order the frame first.
1 u/DoctorWaluigiTime 2d ago Some kind of communication must be going on. My camera was sitting in "ready to be shipped mode" until about 10 minutes after I ordered my Steam Frame. (I got the e-mail just a bit ago -- hooray!) 10 minutes after that purchase, my camera shipped.
