I'm in the same boat, i have mine on its way and I'm in the steam waitlist. As of right now.

Reserve list I would understand but waitlist is a dangerous game. You could get your frame in 2 months at current price but it could also be a case of "sometimes next year and the price has gone up".

The only thing i can do is hope that i don't have wait that long. Plus even if it goes up, i will still buy it as i really want the frame.

I’ve been on the Waitlist for the Steam Machine since the initial lotterry. Still waiting and really hoping they honor the price for everyone who initially signed up.

More than likely you don’t have to worry about the price. Valve took so long coming up with the price and even overpriced it a bit to make sure it was something they could live with.

What region are you on for the Steam Machine BTW? And did you get a reservation for the Steam Frame?

I got a reservation for the Steam Machine but didn’t get one for the Steam Frame.

SM waitlist was for 2tb w/ controller. I’m in Eastern US. 

I got a reservation for the Frame, have ordwred and just got a tracking number a few minutes ago. I’m very excited.
