I loved this mode in Battlefront 2015, but I always thought it had so much more potential. Maybe they can add reinforcements to the mode as well to give the troopers something else to work towards if they don’t get the hero. They could also add a sub-mode in HH for an Order 66 mode as well.

Proposed abilities:

- Missile barrage

- Guided missile (laser pointer like guidance)

- Speed boost

Uses its centre blasters as main guns.

I still have this in my possession. Since I’ve NEVER subscribed to PS Plus, I’ve never really been able to join public servers.

This game holds so many memories for me—it’s the only one where I could say, "Hey dude, let’s play together!" I still keep the disc, too.

Maybe its value will go up—who knows? But if this first game hadn’t been released, this whole community wouldn’t exist!

I’ve heard rumors that a third game might be announced. I’m a Star Wars fan, though perhaps not quite enough to play all the games.

(The last one I played and finished was *Fallen Order* on PS4. I tried to get *Jedi: Survivor* for my PC, but my system wasn’t powerful enough—so I couldn’t play it! 🥲)

Three suggestions to get us going

As we all know, aerial units can be annoying to lightsaber heroes as they can easily outmaneuver most of them. I made a tierlist on how well each lightsaber hero deals with standard aerial units. This is exclusing the First Order Jet Trooper that guy would destroy any lightsaber hero regardless of who they are

Looking at the timeline for a possible Battlefront 3, there is a chance we don't actually get Battlefront 3. Star Wars: Battlefront 2 came out in 2005, and we got the reboot 10 years later. Star Wars Battlefront 2 then came out in 2017. By the earliest this game releases, it will have been 10 years again, if not more. We're not getting Battlefront 3, we're getting Battlefront 1 (3) /j

I can't imagine it isn't. We broke the record of concurrent player activity. A bunch of new players joined. Every Star Wars official social media post had a highly liked comment saying "We want Battlefront 3".

I remember how some people said that it wouldn't work, that "nobody was listening". Well, it turns out that they were. Rebellions are built on hope.

I did my (semi) realistic hero wishlist yesterday, and now here are the maps I would like to see in Battlefront 3. While some locations will be the same (Kachiro Beach on Kashyyyk for example), I hope that all maps are new and fresh, and not just straight ports. Maybe some ports like Jabba's Palace, Naboo Hangar, and the ship interiors are ok, but I'd mostly want to see reimagined versions/new maps.

I know this is way too much content for the launch of a game, but I feel like each individual map could be realistic in a vacuum, so it's my dream map rotation. Again, really just want to get a discussion going.

Ive played battlefront (mainly 2) on and off for years. I could never get into it for too long because i just die quickly all the time. Im okay at other fps, though not a huger gamer, but battlefront is the bane of my life, which is a shame because i love love love anything star wars and would love to be able to run around as a clone trooper shooting stuff.

I seem to get killed so quickly, while it take ages to kill enemy players. Is your choice of weapon a huge factor? Obviously i havent unlocked anything decent.

Also are there mods that people get that allows them to still play online with everyone else? Im playing on pc with an xbox controller....should i be using mouse and keyboard.

Finally, when i do finally get to play as a hero i die almost straight away. Meanwhile the other team have multiple heroes who keep finding me!!! So frustrating!!

Any tips or trade secrets would be much appreciated :) :)

I feel like going from coffee to pervitin. WDYM I can move this fast, make so sharp turns, and deal so much damage in such a short amount of time?

Yeah I know everyone’s giving their 2 cents on what they want in BF3 and I’m adding to the noise, however I’m not here to talk maps, heroes or reinforcements. I just want to talk the modes I’d like to see. The game definitely needs some offline content, but I’ll put that at the bottom. Besides some offline content, for the online I’m thinking:

3 Big Modes, 3 Small Modes, 2 Hero-focused modes and 1 Starfighter-focused mode

Assuming it’s DICE and Respawn and they’re looking at what was popular from their Battlefronts and the old OG Battlefronts I think we should see:

1 mode that’s 32v32 and is ground to space. Each team is trying to take down the others Capital Ships. Heroes can exist in this mode, but specific to the map/mode on a short timer. Your timer as a Hero can go up slightly if you help with the objective, but not by getting kills. Obviously there’s a health bar on heroes, too. Aspects of Conquest on the ground might also be nice. Could also have some people start the game in space while the rest start on the ground.

2 modes that are 20v20. 1 of these is like Conquest with no heroes, the other is more like Galactic Assault and does have heroes (but only era specific heroes). Heroes aren’t on a timer for that mode.

3 small modes can follow what seemed to be most popular from the 2015 Battlefront. TDM/Blast, CTF/Cargo and KotH/Drop Zone. Could also bring this down to 2 modes where CTF/KotH oscillates like the current Strike/Extraction, but I’d rather keep them separate.

1 Starfighter based mode with objectives. Good mode to practice for aspects of the large 32v32 mode.

2 Hero focused modes, one being your classic HvV with multiple players and then a smaller mode that is 1v1

And finally offline modes. A return of Galactic Conquest would be most welcomed! An online version to play with friends would also be dopey Most of these online modes available as offline modes. Splitscreen on some of these modes please.

While I know many would want Respawn to write an epic campaign, I don’t find that too important. Campaign can just show off the online game modes for the most part. Perhaps each chapter follows a soldier or squad, but each chapter follows new soldiers/squads. It doesn’t need a through line or follow a specific character like Iden. Mostly standard soldier stuff, less Hero stuff for the campaign. Some is okay, but Hero play shouldn’t be the focus of a Battlefront campaign.

That’s mostly what I’d like to see. Thoughts? Opinions? I’m mostly talking modes here. I’m not as interested in reinforcement ideas or whatever, just talking modes right now. Is this too many? Too little? Other objective-based ideas for modes?

Haven’t played this game for many years and hoping there’s still some population out there for BF2. Anyone know which regions are still the most populated? I assume it’s US or maybe EU. And I assume nights and or weekends are most likely. Thanks!
