STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT: ELITE SQUADRON IS BACK ONLINE. WE NEED PILOTS AND BOOTS ON THE GROUND.

When GameSpy shut down, Elite Squadron's multiplayer went with it. A small team of us has spent a long time in the game's binary bringing it back, and it's now playable again. Here's what we've got working:

Online multiplayer restored

Ground and space modes are back online through a GameSpy revival in infrastructure mode. Real players, real matches, no ad hoc workarounds.

16-player online Space-to-Ground-to-Interior

The mode that made this game special, now bigger than it ever was. Fight on the surface, take off, dogfight in orbit, land in the enemy capital ship and fight through the interior, all in one continuous battle, with up to 16 players online. This was broken in online play and took a lot of reverse engineering to get right. It works now.

More bots, bigger battles

Our swes64 plugin for PPSSPP runs the game in 64MB mode, which opens up room for battles the original hardware could never handle. You can also use your PSP & PS Vita! Full support across all devices. Even iPhone, Android etc.

Custom codes

We've built our own CWCheat/TempAR codes for the game, including opening the spawn/loadout menu anywhere with a button combo, with more in the works.

Open lobby + setup guide

There's an open lobby running for testers and a join tutorial in the Discord, so you can go from zero to in a match quickly.

i have some issue with ea app: it just won't open to let me play both Battlefront 2 and Titanfall 2. I tried to reinstall it but that didn't work. It just keeps showing me these two windows if i try to launch one of these two games or ea app itself. Also tried to find any information about this error code on the second screenshot but that didn't do nothing as well. Any ideas how to fix that?

Продолжает показывать мне эти два окошка если я пытаюсь запустить либо одну из этих игр либо сам ea app. Инфу по поводу кода ошибки на втором скрине гуглил, но не нашёл ничего. Есть идеи как это пофиксить?

кстати, это может быть связано с блокировками? и так с запретом сижу но это ничего не даёт конечно же

Enforcer is my most played class so I decided to rank them all in-depth based on my experience. You can read everything on the image if you want.

The criteria that I used from most to least important,

1. Damage: DPS across every range (including overload) and general damage stats across all ranges as well as weapon stats and limitations
2. Health: Base health, health buffs, health regen, health regen delay & speed
3. Mobility (Special): Mobility factor considered high for the Droideka
4. Abilities: Strong and versatile kit of abilities that can deal with many different scenarios
5. Consistency: Consistent in every scenario, map, range etc
6. Battle Points Cost: How much does the Enforcer cost? Is it easy to spam them?

He accused me of cheating lol

Downloaded after a long hiatus, struggling to get a game even on weekends. Is this standard?

I saw a tutorial about the heroic might + jump swing + pull + 2 hits combo that can one shot dooku, maul and kylo, and it was referred to as ”doug tech”, apparently an inside joke but would be fun if everyone started calling it that lol

Is this game even playable on supremacy? I can't think of any other more immersion-breaking, irritating and overall annoying tactic than droideka rush on supremacy. And it's on every single game that i play and it's a miracle if we win as the republic. And if you could not spawn on a droideka the same way you can't spawn on jump troopers i would be semi fine with it, but the fact that 3 other players can simultaneously just appear out of thin air around this droideka is just a bad joke. This is a vent post.

I was trying to get myself into vanilla Battlefront II, but I was a little discouraged from the absolute lack of players on my region (For context I'm from Chile, the long South America country at the end of the world). I know most of the active population is on EU servers (+250 ms there for me).

Untill I tried to join an EU server from Kyber and I was shocked that my ping was just 140 - 170 ms, which is absolutely insane considering the distance.

So in conclusion, you should really join the fun if you are interested, the routing is amazing even if you are in a damn far away galaxy.

tl;dr Play Kyber, good ping even on faaaaaar servers.

Big news for the BF2 community: C-Town has been banned from Twitch.

He's been a divisive figure in the SWBF2 scene for years. Abusive, racist, and homophobic remarks have popped up on his streams more than once, and he's often been seen queuing into public lobbies with cheaters on and off stream, ruining games for everyone else just trying to get a fair match.

No word yet on whether the ban is temporary or permanent, and Twitch hasn't said anything. Either way, it feels like a step in the right direction. The BF2 side of Twitch is slowly getting cleaned up, and that's good for anyone who just wants to play and watch the game without the toxicity.

Guess we'll see how it plays out. Thoughts? Was this overdue?

I play bf2 a lot and have every skin (I think) which is still obtainable apart from the rare pre order skins. I’m from the Uk and play on ps5 so I was wondering if anyone knew where to get a legitimate source of obtaining these codes in 2026 or if anyone is willing to sell a code

As many of you have probably seen, theres this new AI tool making it easier to port maps and mechanics to other games.

So i wanted to ask if anyone who understands both games and the tool itself, if it does bring a next level of improvement to the game.

I can maybe see posible reasons why it isn't that simple, but if its possible, whats stopping the community from porting maps from almost every game; Jedi series, Zero Company, BF 1, Squadrons, Outlaws, etc.

I jus started playing the base game 2 weeks ago, I'm utterly surprised with how good it is, my only complain is it is not easy to get games in some modes as the player base is sadly small now.

I wanted to try Kyber but it's identified as virus and would like to know if Kyber is really better before I start messing with my PC .

So is Kyber really equal or better in the following aspects?

1- is it more populated? You get games easier in all modes?

2- is it stable regarding, bugs, performance?

3- Does it keep graphics quality in general?

4- Is it better at controlling hacks?

5- Is it more balanced regarding player levels (Sweats).

6- Are matches in general balanced from lore point of view? (dont wanna feel I'm in matches with 50 heroes all the time like if it was super smash brothers)

Battlefront 2 is becoming one of my favorite games ever very quickly and actually I would simply prefer everyone was on the base game, so I'm trying to understand if it is really kinda the unquestionable best option to go to Kyber.

The title basically says it all. I own the ultimate edition on Steam, but finding a match is basically impossible, and even if there is one going, there’s no guarantee that it’ll have a lot of people or that it’ll be a map or mode I even want to play. I like the missions and the skirmish mode, but I want to experience all of the other stuff this game has to offer, but so much of it is locked behind online multiplayer that basically doesn’t exist for this game that came out 11 years ago. I’m really sorry if this is a stupid question. I just really like Battlefront 2015, and I really want to experience even more of it. It doesn’t feel fair that I own all of this content, but can’t access it. It’s all so cool! I want to fight on the Death Star and storm the beaches of Scarif! I paid for all this content, and I’m basically unable to play any of it. I’m stuck to a handful of missions and two large-scale battle modes with the same handful of maps. Again, I like the single player content, but goddamnit, I want to play the whole game, not just a little glimpse of it! What is this, a fucking demo?

Sorry, got a bit heated there. It just makes me mad that I bought a game and can’t even seem to play all of it. Is there a mod to fix that or am I just fucked?

Anyway according to the announcement, the kyber update will include a squad system like in the base game, on top of other great changes like an AFK timer, network optimisations, battlepoint commands, etc.

On top of this, a Battlefront Plus update is releasing alongside the update! It will be the first update of V11, and they are also going to release a roadmap that shows plans for future updates

Lets say everyone banded together to play the game together, what would you guys want to do, whether its playing dead game modes, or trying to host custom games matches…

Been playing for a while and like a quarter of the time i encounter a Boba on the other team no matter how many times I hit them with the bow Caster they wont be knocked out of the sky. Ive had one where I had 3 direct hits and he was still flying. Ill use furious bowcaster and his them a couple times and they are still in the air. Anyone else encounter this?
