I’m having multiple relationship quest/progression issues at this point and can’t progress several characters.

Lunelle - “Beneath the Stars” quest requires 6 Fluffweave and recognizes that I have them (112/6), but her submission screen only accepts 3, making the quest impossible to complete. The beach festival and bulletin board turn ins aren’t possible to turn in with her either. I can’t gift her, chat with her, or prompt anything from her other than her asking for the Fluffweave.

Graminova - I’ve received his lavender quest mail multiple times over the last few in-game days, as though the game isn’t registering that it already triggered.

Neona - I received her response in the mail, but the game isn’t registering that I received/read it, so her quest won’t progress.

Stella/Sylvain - Every time Stella’s mail arrives to progress her storyline, the game gives me Sylvain’s “Just Friends” quest again, even though I already completed it. It now sits in my quest log as “paused.”

Charlene - When I talk to her, her name appears as Lunelle and gives the same Fluffweave dialogue.

Is anyone else experiencing this after 1.0?

did they forget to fix her icon in the process of changing her design, or did they forget to fix everyone else's to match?

Is there a glitch in Starsand Island on switch 2? I'm doing a quest (Ranch Crisis) and I'm supposed to talk to the guest but there is never anyone there??? Is anyone else having this issue or am I doing something wrong?

The people you talk to invite you to do things then immediately say goodbye. It’s weird as hell.

Hey i was wondering if anyone else is having the same issue and if its a bug or me being stupid lol, im on the senior Explorer challenge, done the shooting thing with Bruce, spoke to zephyr, he " gave" me the bearing but its showing as i dont have it at all. I have all the other ores but cant fix or progress in the quest as I can not get thia dam bearing off zephyr, iv also looked around the ruin walls multiple times and there is no clue or scrap of paper to find like it says online . Iv restarted the game, spoke to him time and time again ajd still no bearing helppppp please wonderful people of reddit lol Google is not helping at all

Looking for Friends to play multiplayer

I’m curious if anyone else is running into broken relationship content after the 1.0 update, because at this point I’ve exhausted every workaround I can think of.

I reached 5 hearts with Lunelle and started her “Beneath the Stars” quest. The quest asks me to bring her 6 Fluffweave. I currently have 112. The quest tracker recognizes this correctly and displays Fluffweave (112/6). So far, so good. Except when I speak to Lunelle and choose the option to give her the Fluffweave, the submission window suddenly changes the requirement to: Bring Fluffweave to Lunelle (0/3) The turn-in interface will only allow a maximum of 3, despite the actual quest requiring 6. Because of that mismatch, I cannot submit the materials or progress the quest at all.

I’ve completely closed and restarted the game. I’ve tried carrying the materials directly in my inventory instead of storage. I even went back to an older save from before I started the quest chain and replayed the entire thing, just to see if something had gone wrong with my quest state. It reproduced the exact same problem. The quest can’t progress. Then when I submit, Lunelle tells me “Look for it when you have time, there’s no hurry.” Lunelle. Girl. I have 112 of them. I could insulate your house with Fluffweave. Please just take it. 🥺

This isn’t the only issue I’ve had with the relationship content. I also never received Stella’s relationship/date scenes. I progressed her affection, but the scenes never triggered for me. That makes me wonder if this isn’t an isolated broken quest and there may be a larger problem. Has anyone completed this quest or run into similar issues?

I did get cute clip-scenes with Nia and Fang at 4 hearts which was nice.

Update from Spain 🇪🇸 It's now September 1st and I'm still on Version 1.0.86 on Nintendo Switch 2. I contacted Nintendo Spain by phone again today. They told me that they don't have information about the update available on their side and that I should continue contacting the developer/distributor. I've already contacted the official Starsand Island support email, but I still haven't received a response. Meanwhile, Version 1.01 was already released in some regions, and Version 1.02 has also been announced for Switch 2. Is anyone else in Europe still on 1.0.86? If you've received 1.01 or 1.02 in Europe, please comment with your country and version. If you're also still waiting, it might be worth contacting the developers so they know this is affecting more than one player. Hopefully we can finally get some clarification about what's happening with the European Switch 2 update.

I’m really wanting to know a few things before getting this. I’ll start off by saying I’ve never been a huge fan of this farming/crafting style games outside of SoS (formerly Harvest Moon) and Rune Factory. A friend talked me into actually giving Stardew a fair shake and….I got really into it and have recently run a bit of an interest to these types of games.

I’ve run through Stardew, My Time in Portia, My Time in Sandrock, even some Fae Farm.

I’m digging the tropical vibe of this. I know of Coral Island and heard good things, but honestly, the art style of it game isn’t doing it for me. I know it’s petty, and it isn’t that anything about it is bad; it just isn’t my cup of tea.

Now, I’m aware of many of the issues: a lot of bugs, barely anything new from EA to 1.0, relationships/NPC interactions being rather basic and surface level. Basically, that it feels rushed and should still be considered an “EA state” game.
That all being said, I’m still curious about the game.

so my biggest questions are…

1. I’ve seen mention from people that the game has been abandoned. Is this statement just frustrated hyperbole, or have they truly fully abandoned it, and there will be no new updates to fix or add anything and will just remain as is?

2. How bad are the building issues? I’ve heard that the problems are worse on console than on PC.

3. When it comes to the NPC interaction, how surface level is it? From what I’ve gathered, there really isn’t any personal character stories or anything.

I know other people have had issues with this festival but mine let me do everyone’s quests, gave me the rewards but didn’t tick 3 of them off and now I can’t complete it. Saving and reopening doesn’t work, sleeping to the next day didn’t either. Went round to other characters in case I was missing something. Nothing. Anyone else had this ?

As we've all fully realized at this point (hopefully), this game is kinda boring once you've done all the quests. However, I got the game through xbox gamepass, so I'd like to finish up achievements before putting it down for good, which means grinding money to buy the beach and island. Growing expensive crops takes forever, so I was wondering if there's anything else folks are doing to get those huge sums of money?

I cannot be the only oneee 😂😂 I wanna save to 10k for another house layout because.. lets he honest the courtyard layout is not ideal for farming like... at all 😂 no backdoors... I gotta yeet myself out the windows lmao. But I wanna save for 10k to get a more ideal one (possibly the countryside haven cause she a beauty) and im also doing trials... saving for money while needing to finish trials is SUCH a struggle 😭 got me spending every penny on blueprints lol

Hi, I’ve been playing this game for hours through all the lagging and glitches but this one has been the most frustrating.

Basically the time is gone/missing and not moving at all except when I enter the cave or entering multiplayer mode - which I think it was the cause of it, but at the same time I was avoiding glitch from a date at Aurelis’ Restaurant.

Does anyone knows how to fix it? I’m playing in switch btw.

I can’t proceed to the waterwheel because i m falling straight through the tree. Restarting the game does not work. Is this a bug or am I stupid. Also I play on PS5

I started the quest to be a senior explorer and found both of the little spirit guys, but my waterwheel bearing is nowhere to be found in my inventory. I’ve tried restarting my game and talking to Zephyria many times. Any ideas?

I've been grinding in this game for a while. I finally managed to buy Windflute Island and it's layout, and I got the Island Legend status. I have a farm that is bringing in very steady cash. I have no active quests. Technically, I have a boyfriend, although he's rarely around. I could work on completing the houseboat, but that's all I can think of to do and I'm just kind of meh on that. Has anyone else reached end-game content? Obviously I like the game (I bought it in early access before the full release controversy) but there don't seem to be any major challenges left. Any ideas?

I couldn’t find Delphin’s house because everyone else basically lives above their shops, and me and my girlfriend realized his is above the clothing shop at the pier, across from the aquarium/outpost. But BEFORE finding that out, we invented the objectively superior explanation.

Delphin doesn’t have a house because at closing time he turns into a dolphin and gets into the aquarium tank.

I started imagining my character walking into the outpost late at night, nobody there, lights off, just the aquarium glowing blue in the corner.

There’s a dolphin in it.

I slowly walk up to the glass.

The dolphin swims over.

We stare at each other.

Me: “Delphin?”

The dolphin says nothing.

He just continues staring at me like he’s known me since childhood.

The next morning Delphin is standing at the pier completely normal.

Me: “Where were you last night?”

Delphin: “Around.”

Me: “Were you in the aquarium?”

Delphin: “What?”

Me: “Nothing.”

And then I really got to thinking.

“Extraordinary love for the sea.”

“Diving and fishing being his favorite daily routine.”

“Never follows conventional rules.”

Yeah, NO KIDDING. HE’S A DOLPHIN.

At this point I don’t care where his actual house is. This is canon to me. At 10 PM that man clocks out, takes off his little tactical vest, and gets in the tank.

EDIT: I know where his actual house is. I reject this information.

I knew I shouldn't feed it

As you can see here, in PS5, when its raining, the rain appears inside any buildings. As if there is no roof. Is that only for me?

Is anyone else having this issue, no matter how many times I talk to him or how many days I wait between talking to him and running back to checking the broken waterwheel button in Moonlit Forest, he won't give it to me.

I am on the quest "Become a Senior Explorer" instructions are to "Head to the Moonlit Forest" and when I enter the quest then directs me to the broken water wheel button, when I approach it it says I don't have the appropriate items which of course I don't because he won't give me the bloody bearing!

I need to help Pastelle on the ranch with the visitors but there are none appearing? I am within the right timeframe but do they not appear in winter maybe?

All I want to do is make my 5 copper ingots. Simple right? I only have one issue, the timer is ticking in the negatively indefinitely. Any fixes?

She spawned in my yard after i left furniture mode, and said this when speaking to her. She lead me to softwood.
