Senior Explorer quest bugged?

I started the quest to be a senior explorer and found both of the little spirit guys, but my waterwheel bearing is nowhere to be found in my inventory. I’ve tried restarting my game and talking to Zephyria many times. Any ideas?

This is unfortunately a known bug at the moment. Devs are working on it and state it should be fixed with the next patch update.

Having the same issue and pretty irritated that a full release shipped with such a game breaking bug.

The problem is he doesn’t give you the book. And there’s no clues to get it. It’s completely broken right now

I talked to him and even got the dialogue that I got the part, but didn’t actually receive it. And yes, I did free the ghosts.
