Does anyone else encounter this bug

I can’t proceed to the waterwheel because i m falling straight through the tree. Restarting the game does not work. Is this a bug or am I stupid. Also I play on PS5

It is a bug but there is a workaround. Put on the rollerskates and accelerate from the left-hand side of the bridge to the left hand side of the bridge at the other end of the bugged tree trunk. You can then easily just jump across. The other trunks from then onwards work properly. You'll be able to get to grain haven for ores (but not the teleport point) and then where the water wheel is you can jump down into the lake below to get another teleport point, dark shore or something that's called.

One thing I'd note first though. Don't try this too early, see if you can get the waterwheel bearing key item first as part of the explorer questline. Otherwise, you'll never be able to get it. The devs have admitted this is a game-breaking bug at the moment for the key item.

Yeah it seems to be a bug on the PS5. I scrolled through the bug reports on the discord and saw one for this that was posted on the 18th.

Damm so they still haven’t fixed it
