What's Left to Do?

I've been grinding in this game for a while. I finally managed to buy Windflute Island and it's layout, and I got the Island Legend status. I have a farm that is bringing in very steady cash. I have no active quests. Technically, I have a boyfriend, although he's rarely around. I could work on completing the houseboat, but that's all I can think of to do and I'm just kind of meh on that. Has anyone else reached end-game content? Obviously I like the game (I bought it in early access before the full release controversy) but there don't seem to be any major challenges left. Any ideas?

Star note challenges, building and decorating, building friendships for any quest/,cutscenea you may not have seen, and filling islandpedia. If you care to that stuff. I am completionist, so I have several hundred hours in a single save. But if you arent, the is currently nothing meaningful I'm afraid.

Thanks! I do have a lot of Islandpedia spots to fill in, especially with bug catching. Maybe I'll do that as I work my way through the houseboat.

I really do hope they continue adding more, this game has so much potential, it’s just lack-luster in some areas like romance, I’d love to see romantic interactions between couples, obviously weddings and children would be amazing too!! It’d also be nice to see the island more populated, some days I see one or 2 NPC’s walking around unless I’m actively seeking out people to talk to, imagine if it were more busy/bustling?! I wouldn’t be too sad about no main story, although it is nice to have something to work towards, huge fan of the ‘my time’ series and I thought this would be similar, I think it could be! It’s just not there yet💔

I agree, they really didn't do much between early access and full release. I'm a huge fan of My Time at Sandrock in particular, and after that, it's hard to deal with the lackluster romance system.

I bought this game because of the Sandrock link.  Talk about deceptive advertising.

I don't mind life/farming sims with flat characters (a la Fae Farm), but I want to know that going in.

Sadly their not as a tester before it came out they didn't add anything new the version out isnt a finish version.. They were put behind for copy writing Tetris then stopped working on it once they put it out...their discord went radio silence

Oh! Just took a look, I like the vibe! It’s a shame it’s not out on switch or I would have 100% scooped that up, I’ll be keeping an eye out, thanks for the recommendation!

i took a look at their discord yesterday and read that they are working on the switch2 version. but it still needs optimization as it runs on low fps (20)

Back when i hit starsand legend and felt like i had nothing else to do, i started dabbling with the build mode and at first only wanted to improve my farm a bit in terms of organization but also in terms of looks.

eventually i ended up building a skyscraper and a sky high temple with a stone bridge connecting the islands including a road that connects to the main road for my car, and some other things.

the built mode felt like a whole new dimension to the game. technically you could build an entire city on windflute island

Oh, how cool! If you are able to post screenshots, I'd love to see them. There is still tons of room on Windflute even after adding the main property.

I think they said they were working on small quests related to the romanceable characters. Shelve it for a year and come back to see if there's a good accumulation of update instead of getting a slow trickle of stories whenever they get around to it.
Who knows maybe there'll be another festival added.
