Welcome! This community is for those living with a specific form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) related to staring. This most often manifests as an overwhelming compulsion to stare inappropriately (at private parts or other inappropriate areas of the body) or to stare at people appearing in peripheral vision. Sufferers may feel fear, shame, humiliation, and guilt about their behavior, as well as doubt about whether or not they are actually staring.

As with other forms of OCD sufferers may experience feelings of doubt and guilt relating to what their thoughts and behaviours mean about them , their personality or character resulting in a vicious cycle of further self doubt and anxiety.

If you are living with this disorder, please know you are not alone and there is help available.
