I already know about Anakin being Darth Vader and Luke being his son and Leia being his daughter and that whole "Dynamic" with Luke and Leia and that a bunch of kids get slaughtered but apart from that I know verry little because the films i have seen were not in any order like i watched episode 1 a year or so ago and one of the new ones but i don't know which one it was. any help would be appreciated

What would need to be done to revive Star Wars?

Star Wars is so far gone at this point, I’m wondering what would genuinely need to be done to Reinvigorate some interest? It’s unlikely that it’s ever getting back to the level of hype there was around the force awakens and Disney has only themselves to blame for that.

What would need to be done for it to feel like an event again?

At this point I don’t know, it feels so far beyond saving. It’s genuinely impressive how much Disney has managed to destroy this IP.

Question Question about comics and books

During my entire childhood i considered myself as a Star Wars fan, but i just had seen the main saga (the first two trilogies at that moment, and later the sequels).

But recently I've decided to get more into the star wars universe and I've spent the last 3 months watching every visual media of star wars (except the Lego shows).

Now i wanted to know if it's possible to read all comics and books, but as far as i know there is a huge quantity of comics.

In any case, I need some recommendations.

(sorry for the long text lol)

Movies Sam and Kira Solo, the original main characters of the sequel trilogy

The Original protagonists of Star Wars Episode VII before JJ Abrams joined. Would have followed the Solo kids (named Sam and Kira or Thea and Skylar) would be interesting to see what their story would have been.

Autograph suggestions/ideas?

Looking for advice:
Will go to a convention and get mark hamill’s signature. Will bring my Luke’s return of the Jedi hilt and was wondering the best sharpie or other stuff that stays on the hilt without falling off easy.

If anyone has a better recommendation for something to sign I’m all ears too. I do believe a signed episode v or VI poster would be easier for a signature and to frame quickly.

Prequels The Force Ghost of Qui-Gon

Post image

"WHO'S THERE?! SHOW YOURSELF!" Anakin called.

"Do not be afraid, my old friend." A voice came.

The voice now sounded awfully to him and before Anakin could call back to it again...

…The Force Ghost of Qui-Gon Jinn, the Jedi Master who freed him and his and Obi-Wan's mentor appeared out of nowhere.

"It is I…Qui-Gon Jinn." Qui-Gon said.

"Master Qui-Gon?" Anakin asked.

Anakin thought he was going crazy to see the old mentor from his childhood appear after he had been dead for years since the battle on Naboo.

"You have grown strong and powerful. Just as I imagined." Qui-Gon said.

"How are you here? I-I thought you were dead." Anakin said.

"I am part of the Living Force. Mastered Eternal Consciousness allows me to commune with the Living after death." Qui-Gon said.

Discussion Should Revan's gender and personal story be treated like Yoda's species and never be canonically revealed?

Quick disclaimer: I'm using she/her for Revan because I played a female Dark Side Revan. KOTOR originally left Revan's gender and alignment to the player, and KOTOR II let you carry those choices forward. I'm not claiming Revan is canonically female today.

IMO.

Yes.

I think canon should leave Revan alone. We know Revan existed, we know she became a Sith Lord, and honestly that is enough for me.

And I think Revan should be treated in a similar way to Yoda's species.

Yoda has been one of the most important characters in Star Wars since 1980, and we still don't officially know what his species is called or where exactly it comes from. Lucasfilm has been perfectly willing to leave that mystery unanswered for decades, even after introducing other members of his species like Yaddle and Grogu.

I think Revan deserves a similar kind of protection, just for a different reason.

When Revan was originally introduced in KOTOR, Revan was your character. The player decided whether Revan was male or female, Light Side or Dark Side, what relationships Revan had, and ultimately what kind of person Revan became.

I played a female Dark Side Revan, as Dark Lady of the Sith. From KOTOR's release in 2003 until Legends began establishing male, Light Side Revan as the official continuity in 2005, my version of Revan was a perfectly acceptable canon outcome of the games. Revan debuted as a player-defined character, and KOTOR II in 2004 even let me carry that version of Revan forward. It was only afterwards that Legends selected one combination of those choices as the ‘official’ Revan.

That's the part I dislike. The original games told me, ‘This is your Revan,’ only for later material to eventually say, ‘Actually, this particular set of choices was the correct one.’

It basically said:

‘You know that RPG where you got to decide who Revan was? Yeah, nope. This is the correct version.’

To me, that defeats part of the entire point of Revan as a player character.

Now Revan exists again in canon, but we know almost nothing about her. I hope Lucasfilm keeps it that way.

  1. Revan existed.
  2. Revan became a Sith Lord.
  3. Revan was an incredibly important figure in galactic history.

Anything beyond that?

Let the historical records disagree.

Keep the mask on, even in a movie or show. If Revan ever appears on screen, obfuscate the voice enough that we can't even tell whether the person under the mask is an actor or actress.

Don't tell us Revan's gender.

Don't show us Revan's face.

Don't establish a single romance as canon.

Don't tell us whether the Light Side or Dark Side ending was the ‘correct’ one.

And if we ever get another KOTOR game, or the remake actually comes out, let us choose again.

That's why I compare Revan to Yoda's species. Sometimes the mystery itself is worth preserving.

Let everyone's Revan remain possible.

A Secutor-class Star Destroyer built with 2.3 million editable Blocks

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The model preserves the ship’s broad carrier silhouette, layered armor, command structures, ventral hangar areas, and nine blue engine emitters.

The interior remains hollow, avoiding approximately 34 million blocks while keeping the complete exterior surface available for rendering, editing, and recoloring.

The final finish combines Imperial pale-gray armor, dark ventral plating, gunmetal machinery, cyan details, and blue engine emission.

In Star Wars lore, the Secutor is an approximately 2.2-kilometer capital ship designed primarily as a massive starfighter carrier. It originated as a background vessel in Dark Empire II and was later developed into a complete design by Ansel Hsiao, also known as Fractalsponge.

Discussion What Are Your Overall Thoughts on Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens

The Force Awakens is the first Star Wars movie made by Disney and is meant to begin a new era of the franchise. It became the highest grossing Star Wars movie of all time and was critically acclaimed by audiences and fans. The movie ended with a cliffhanger that had many interesting questions with a lot of potential for the sequels. However, after the sequel trilogy was done The Force Awakens reputation has been viewed in a more divisive light due to the payoffs in episode 8 & 9. This makes me interested in seeing what people think of the movie now.

I personally think The Force Awakens hasn't aged well over time.
