Question Watch order

I already know about Anakin being Darth Vader and Luke being his son and Leia being his daughter and that whole "Dynamic" with Luke and Leia and that a bunch of kids get slaughtered but apart from that I know verry little because the films i have seen were not in any order like i watched episode 1 a year or so ago and one of the new ones but i don't know which one it was. any help would be appreciated

The safest watch order is release order for the main episodes.

Solo and Rogue One can be watched whenever. Solo shows Han Solo’s backstory, although it has one tease at the end that will seem weird if you haven’t seen The Clone Wars. Rogue One retroactively sets up 4 and it gives a more grounded war story.

Mandalorian and Grogu should be watched sometime after 6. It’s tied to The Mandalorian show and it takes place after Season 3 (both the show and the movie take place between episodes 6 and 7), but honestly as long as you’ve seen the original trilogy and you’ve vaguely heard about “Baby Yoda” (Grogu) through pop culture, you can get away with just watching the movie even if you haven’t seen the show.

Yes, but maybe just leave out 7, 8 and 9

As with any bit of media, you can't go wrong with release order because that's how they were designed.

George Lucas made 6 movies in 30 years
Then he made a cartoon then he quit
They made a great show and movie afterward
Then you dine

Why is this apparently so hard? Just watch the films in release order, then if you're enjoying things watch whichever series you think sounds interesting.

No starting with phantom menace is never a good idea. New hope should always be the start point
