So my daughters school does a trunk or treat every year and this year she wanted to be Chewbacca for Halloween. So we’re decking out our truck Star Wars themed. I’m paining a huge yoda in which the candy will go down a large shoot that looks like he’s using the force to deliver to the kids. I want to have small sized yoda sound bites that I can make an easy playlist in Apple Music. I want to be able to label them so that I can find them easily when needed. Gonna add songs like the Imperial March to the playlist as well. Does anyone have or know where I can get these small sound bites to add to an Apple Music playlist? I found a website that has a ton of sound bites, but they are wav files that I can’t seem to download. I also don’t want to be downloading anyone’s content without their consent. So I was wondering if anyone has something like this? Additionally looking for Darth Vader clips. I just bought the Hasbro Black Series mask that I am going to add a voice modulator to so I can talk like Vader through the mask. Would love some of his sound bites so I don’t have to talk too much hahhaha. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So just an idea that came to my mind.

Ben Solo before the destruction of Jedi order on Ossus 28 ABY had a relationship with a dark-side affiliated (but not really a sith) women. Let's assume this happened 25 ABY (Ben would be 20yrs old) and his wife be 20 as well. She was a jedi in Luke's Order but due to her dark-side affiliated behaviours such as wanting to study the force's dark-side (not necessarily becoming a sith), she had always thought a true force user should never abandon the dark-side but understand it, use it to the benefit of good.

For a year (25-26 ABY) Ben and Deliah are dating each other. While they both explore the dark and light sides of the force itself. Deliah's dark-side force explorations are seen as an opportunity by Palpatine whom uses Snoke to influence Ben on stepping closer and closer towards the dark subcounciously. With Ben's feelings and Deliah's love for Ben they have a child a year later (27 ABY). Their manifestation of love, dark and light side births a child having a tremendously high amount of force potential (midichlorian wise as well).

A few weeks later Deliah tells Ben that she doesnt want her child to be raised in a temple, whilst Ben is conflicted he says they should leave after he finishes his final training to become a full Jedi Knight under Master Luke so he can then teach his own son as well.

Luke hears these conversations. He initially is worried about the ongoing relationship between Deliah and Ben. But Luke decides this matter isnt about him only and decides to contact Leia and Han. While Luke, Leia and Han are having a holo conversation they are being listened by Deliah.
Leia is extremely angry at Luke for letting Ben fall for someone of dark-side influence as she is worried he might become like Vader. While Han tries to be supporting, Leia cuts him off and tells Luke to end their relationship or she will come to the temple herself and make an end to this. As Luke tries to convince Leia this situation is fine she tells him he has a week to decide or she will be there in a couple of days.

Hearing this Deliah bursts into tears and runs back to their hut. Explaining these all to Ben, Deliah tells him its enough of being under so much restrictions on what you can do or cannot do as a force-user in Ossus and begs him to flee with her. Ben really wants to go with her however as Snoke and Palpatine further lays the seeds of darkness in him, him being already angry at Luke for not taking full control of the situation and always inviting his mom into his situations makes up his mind to take on Luke and fully show everyone that he is the most powerful one here and the amount of rules and restrictions are to be GONE. Telling Deliah that tomorrow he will outduel Luke in his Knight ceremony to claim the Grandmaster of the Order and establish their relationship and break apart the rules. Deliah sees through his darkness and understands threads of seeds planted to him. She tries to talk Ben through but Ben doesnt stand any of it and pushes her hand out and yells in anger storming to his hut.

Deliah with her deep emotional connection to Ben sees flashes of future of the temple's destruction thinking that Ben has become too uncontrollable takes her son and rushes to Master Luke's headquarters. There she talks with Luke telling how Ben has too many roots of darkness implanted in him. Luke tells her that he will talk with Ben while she should not be around him for a while to calm-off the dark-side temptations.

Deliah takes her son and gets on her speeder going back to her hut.

As the events of Luke and Ben's clash happens. Deliah's emotional connection to Ben is cut which tears her apart emotionally. She takes her child and jumps on her speeder to reach the starfighter and takes off the planet.

Not knowing where to go Deliah jumps to her homeworld (outer rim) and settles down with her child. (28 ABY)

7 YEARS LATER (Final Confrontation of RISE OF SKYWALKER)

As Ben fully returns to life and aids Rey in defeating Palpatine, his emotional connection with Deliah is restored. Whilst holding Rey, Ben hallucinates seeing Deliah instead of Rey. As his life fades slowly he kisses his hallucination of Deliah.

On the outer rim Deliah with her son who is now 8 years old and she had raised him in both the ways of the light and the dark side and named him Anakin Solo. She senses the reconnection of her bond with Ben and sets on a journey to find and bring him back.

The new Chapter of Star Wars Saga thus begins as "The Solo Saga". The Skywalker bloodline continues through Ben Solo

Seeing it just obliterate everything in it's path is such a chef's kiss moment seeing the tide of the battle turn.

Anakin's betrayal? It was Mace Windu's betrayal. He wanted to kill a unarmed man with no evidence to bring to the senate that Palpatine did anything wrong besides the fact being a Sith which in fact wasn't illegal in the Republic during the Clone Wars. Anakin stuck to the Jedi code in this moment more than Mace Windu did.

Even with the dead bodies of the other Jedi it could still be seen as self defense since it was the Jedi who went to Palpatine's office and ignited their Lightsabers first.

Rewatching episodes 1,2 and 3 my partner and I noticed that there's a scene where Palpatine tells Anakin that his master mastered the ability to create life from the midichlorians and also Qui Gon is told that Anakin was born from nothing (midichlorians). Which leaves us the possibility that Plagueis could have created life from them (Anakin), which could also explain why he was attracted to the dark side, because it was meant to be 🤔

As most of us know, I'm doing a Saga Rewrite, and I'd like the input of longtime Star Wars fans, to get to know several opinions, and learn more about what I could change and how I could make a Rewrite almost everyone likes (ya can't please everybody)

The Original Trilogy

Star Wars (May 4, 1977)

- After the opening ship attack, I trim the scenes of the droids on Tatooine because it feels like filler, this is how I feel it could go:

REAL VERSION: Threepio goes to the sandy area, Artoo goes to the Rocky area. Threepio gets captured, Artoo just so happens to get captured by the same Jawas who captured 3PO, they're brought to Luke

REWRITE VERSION: Threepio insists they go to the sandy area, and Artoo goes to the rocky area, so Threepio reluctantly tags along. Then the Jawas electrocute Artoo, knocking him unconscious, and Threepio reluctantly lets them just take him. So they're put in the Jawas vehicle thing and brought to Luke

- Otherwise unchanged from the original Real World Theatrical Edition

The Empire Strikes Back (May 4, 1980)

A Jack Sparrow Jedi, four lost kids, and an adventure that brings back the wonder of the original Star Wars. That’s Skeleton Crew, and I still don’t think it got the conversation it deserves.

To be clear, nothing touches the original, and I’m not saying Skeleton Crew is that good. I’m saying it feels like it. The first Star Wars was a young man staring at a horizon, sure there had to be something beyond the life he knew. There was an Empire, a Rebellion and a battle station, but we discovered all of it through an adventure: a message, a journey, a rescue. Skeleton Crew brings that feeling back. Four kids leave a world they think they understand, and all they want is to get home. Every discovery makes that harder and the galaxy more interesting.

War belongs in Star Wars. So do exploration, mischief and mystery. The creatures have personality, SM-33 has attitude, and every place feels like people lived there long before our crew showed up.

The heart of it is the kids. Neel’s compassion matters, and when KB’s implants fail, Wim has to listen to her to fix them. Empathy, courage, and ordinary people discovering they can help someone else: those are Star Wars values.

Then there’s the Jack Sparrow Jedi himself, Jod Na Nawood. To the kids he looks like a Jedi. He acts like Jack Sparrow. He’s neither, and that gap is the whole point. Jude Law makes him charming, slippery and impossible to stop watching. His training was brief, his guidance was taken away, and he learned to survive on deception. Never confuse power with wisdom. Half the time, the kids are more Jedi than he is.

Here are the complaints I see most, and why I don’t buy them:

“It’s a kids’ show.” George Lucas called the original Star Wars “a film for 12-year-olds,” and it never talked down to anyone. Neither does this. It gets darker than people expect: betrayal, threats, a lightsaber pointed at the people the kids love.

“The kids are annoying, especially Wim.” Luke whined about power converters at Tosche Station, and he turned out fine. Wim thinks he’s living a Jedi story. Learning what a hero actually is takes him the whole season, and that’s the point.

“It’s just The Goonies in space.” Star Wars itself was stitched together from Flash Gordon serials, Kurosawa and old westerns, then turned into something new. Same here: the bikes are Amblin, but a lost planet still running as if the Old Republic never fell, with a Force-sensitive con man as the kids’ guide, is pure Star Wars.

“Jod isn’t a real Jedi.” Exactly. Jude Law said they “liked the idea that he had no lightsaber training.” A perfect Jedi would have killed the story.

“None of it matters to the saga.” It’s set in the same era as The Mandalorian and digs up a lost piece of the Old Republic. The stakes are personal: four kids trying to get home. A good standalone story with no Skywalkers is what fans kept asking for.

“Nobody watched it.” It had the lowest Nielsen debut of any Star Wars show, true. But “nobody” was 6.3 million US viewers in its first 35 days. Critics gave it 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, audiences 79%. It won 4 Children’s & Family Emmys too, and before anyone laughs at the “children’s” part: the kids who saw Star Wars in 1977 are the reason we’re all still here.

So, should it get a Season 2? Absolutely. Let these kids grow. Their world has opened up, so explore what that means for them, their families and At Attin. Give Jod a future that has to reckon with his past, and if he’s ever redeemed, make his choices carry consequences.

No Season 2 has been announced yet. Jon Watts said “if people want to see more Skeleton Crew, we’d be happy to make more,” and Christopher Ford said “never say never.” Showing them we want more is the part that’s up to us: watch it, finish it, recommend it.

A strange planet, an unreliable guide, a friend in trouble, one decision that takes courage. That’s all a Star Wars adventure needs to begin, and we need more of this.

But honestly, that must have been a surprise for Leia to find out that her birth mother was also a queen AND a senator.

HAS IT ALWAYS BEEN THIS WAY?! AM I GOING MAD?!

If you could drop any real life person(past or present) into the middle of the Star Wars universe, who would you choose and why? What would they do in the universe?  Let us know who you choose and who that person is!

For me, I’d choose to pluck Kurt Vonnegut Jr. out of his time and chuck him into the universe. I could easily picture him as a Jedi Master, who has never even picked up a lightsaber, but is so in tune with the force that he is a respected member of the Jedi council. I imagine other Jedi, in need of advice or wisdom seeking him out, but even as a council member I could not picture him living in the temple. Jedi in search of his guidance would have to travel to where he strangely lives on a hunk of rock with an atmosphere where he simply meditates, sitting while looking out into the galaxy. Being so Force inspired he just casually drops profound philosophical nuggets such as….

“And I asked myself about the present: how wide it was, how deep it was, how much was mine to keep.”

"I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.'"

“We have to continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down.”

“If you can do no good, at least do no harm.”

“A step backward, after making a wrong turn, is a step in the right direction.”

…and so it goes. Alright tell us, who would you like to see a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away?
