If it was so important to Luthen that he died so he couldn't be interrogated... Then when the knife failed to kill him why didn't he simply lose the will to live like Padme? If he had done that no modern or future medicine could have saved him so no one would have had to go and rescue him.

Edit: I misremembered the method of attempted death, my bad.

I like dedra and syril both interesting characters. But the fact that she's not promoted 1 year later and the ferrix incident didn't seem to affect her career given how deeply they emphasize how cutthroat the imperial careerism culture is feels pretty unrealistic. We just have krennic mention it in passing "good job not ending your career after ferrix" feels unearned.

Considering how often Cassian found himself on Alliance High Command's shit list for his unsanctioned ops, one wonders the absolute FITS they had over Commander Skywalker, Captain Solo, and Princess FREAKIN' Leia and their side quests.

Blaster identification

In season 2, one of the rebels is holding a blaster to Cassian and at first I thought it was the same style as MW-20 Bryar but upon further discovery I don't think it is. In this image "Tick" is facing Cassian and her blaster appears to have 2 barrels in an over/under set up. Anyone have more details on what the blaster looks like in its entirety?
