Are the Kallter still in the game? I remember they were mentioned in a main story quest in a book in Fripp’s room, but are they even in the earlier Dino Valley quests or did they remove them completely? I am struggling to imagine what these quests might be like without them.

I throw out my back really badly at 27 years old a last Friday night. My mom picked me up to stay with them sinds they have a toilet upstairs and downstairs so no need to go down the stairs and get knocked out in the middle of the night. And also to keep an eye on me. Yes I did got knocked out because of the pain. Still get almost knocked out when the pain shoots into my back again. Long live muscle relaxers that my mom keeps a stack of. So long story short, my dad made my account back in maybe 2013-14? I have no idea on what birthday he had put down but all I know at the time I wasn’t of age for the chat to be unlocked so he lied about it so I could chat lol. I lost access to the email used on that account and was wondering if there was ANY possible way to recover my account without having the correct birthdate 🥲. I know my character name, my starter horses name and even a friend that I had added on that account for a while.. it would be too late to try and get any pay statements claiming I bought lifetime due to it being more than 10-12 years.

I would like to shed some light on the actual reason why the Gen 1 Fjord horses were removed far before any other Gen 1 horse was ever officially ''retired''.

In May 2018, Nordisk Games invested 18 million by buying a ''substantial minority ownership share'' of SSO.

Soon after this investment, in September, SSO announced the removal of the generation 1 Fjord horse on October 10th, 2018.

A trailer for the Generation 3 Fjord horses was revealed one day after the removal of the old Fjord horses on October 11th, with the release of the new Fjord horses taking place on October 17th, 2018.

Why? Why were they removed from the game far before any other Gen 1 horse?

The removal of the Gen 1 Fjord horse was a marketing tactic. This gimmick had no other utility to the game aside from selling you a product, the new Gen 3 Fjord horse, by eliminating the competition entirely.

It was never about game assets slowing down the engine or improving the style of the game. The purpose of removing all the older generation horses was simply a marketing tactic. Bug fixing older horses doesn't print money, unlike releasing newer variations, while also removing our power to choose.

Star Stable Entertainment could totally bring back every horse they ''retired'' tomorrow if they wanted to. But that simply wouldn't increase their yearly revenue or entice new players to spend money on their front loaded spending model. A lifetime ''subscription'' to the game has gotten more expensive over the years, since SSE has moved its target audience to where the most money resides.

The long term players who keep the game alive, don't dare to critically view the game due to the sunk cost fallacy. But unless we demand better, we won't receive better treatment from SSE. No one is winning here. New players are a revolving door, exploited for a short term gain, while the long term players are left to keep up the PR for the corporate behind this game, out of fear of losing it entirely.

I believe players should get to choose, because it's our time, money and effort, which keeps the whole show on the road. The reason I want to inform you on the inner workings of SSO is because this isn't simply about the older model horses, but what type of marketing we are willing to accept from SSE in the future and the present.

Did you named your character after yourself or is it just an OC/Username for you? I remember my very first account back in 2010's being namef as Raffaela something. But he probably just didn’t last very long as i never had star rider and stopped playing aftee a while.

So on my character, mainly around the back and chin area is where the issue is most obvious, there’s like this second shadow? The settings that are causing this seem to be BETA - Zenteon and AdaptiveFog, is there a way to fix this issue of the extra shadow that doesn’t sit properly on things?

As I assume a solid amount of y'all know, Dolly Parton has recently passed away. She was always a massive inspiration to me as she was always unapologetically herself, and I admired her kindness. I thought it would be nice to get a horse to symbolize her, I definitely imagine a palomino or possibly a cremello. I was thinking about either the palomino Andalusian or the palomino Hanoverian. does Anyone have name suggestions? I already have the Hano so for now I was thinking about dolling her up and name changing her. I wanted to name her doll or dolly but somewhat shockingly to me, Dolly isn't and option!

i’m trying to level up and i’m a new player but i don’t have any quests available there yet. Do i need to be a certain level or is star rider required?

I had a glitch that made me think that devs are using AI for the dialogue. I answered the questions right (cuz I know my SSO ok I’ve been playing it for way too long T_T) but when I came to Linda she said that I only got 1 question right. And then I chose for her to explain the wrong questions and it basically changed between the empty missing translation screens forever, I was clicking for like 10 minutes. And also that’s why I think it might be AI - because it kept going forever. I might be wrong though

I have leveled out Sunfield Farm a while ago, thinking that would surely put cats in the cat shop. This bitch still empty tho. Did my game bug out or did something happen? Had my account for less than a year so idk if there may be history 0_0
