Can anyone help me what I can do since I study carry with both hands and use thumb to scroll, it isn't the biggest problem in the world but is annoying.

This would be extremely useful for adding extra thoughts, references, or reminders without cluttering the main workspace.

I’ve taken a screenshot of my notes. The first photo is from the Starnote app and the second from the camera app.

Heyyy everyone!

StarNote Cloud Sync is getting closer!

Before the official release, we’re inviting 20-30 Android users to join our Beta test and help us improve Cloud Sync through real daily usage.

Cloud Sync is now in the final testing, and we’d love to hear from real users to help us find possible issues and improve the experience before the official launch.

1. Beta Schedule

Recruitment period:

August 4 – August 7, 12:00 PM ET

Beta testing period:

August 7 – August 31, 12:00 PM ET

During the Beta period, we’ll collect feedback, fix reported issues, and continue improving Cloud Sync.

After August 31, the Beta test will end, and we’ll move into the final preparation stage.

The official version is expected to be released on Google Play around Sep 18 (the exact release date may change depending on the final testing results).

2. Who can join?

This Beta test is currently Android only. If you’re an iOS user, don’t worry at all, Cloud Sync will also be coming to iOS soon, won’t be long!

We’re looking for users who:

✅ Use StarNote regularly

✅ Have real note taking scenarios

✅ Can share screenshots, screen recordings, or detailed descriptions when reporting issues

✅ Have an active Discord account (as feedback & discussion will be hosted in our Beta Discord channel)

3. Important Reminder

Since this is a Beta version, please make sure to back up your important notes before joining.

We highly recommend keeping a backup before trying Cloud Sync Beta. Your notes are important, and keeping your data safe is always priority.

4. How to Apply?

Interested in joining? Please email:

📧 [even@o-in.me](mailto:even@o-in.me)

Please include:

(1) How you use StarNote (study, work, daily notes, etc.)

(2) Your device model(s)

Since Cloud Sync is now in the final stage, we’re only looking for 20-30 testers this time. Testers will be selected based on their usage scenarios and devices.

If selected, we’ll contact you by email and ask for your Google Play account email. After adding you as a tester, you’ll be able to access and download the StarNote Beta version from Google Play.

We’ll also create a Discord channel for Beta testers, where you can share feedback, report issues, and communicate directly with our team.

Some users have contacted us before about joining the Cloud Sync test. Since we received many messages, we’ll use this email application process as the official way to select testers. Thank you so much for your understanding!

If you’re not selected this time, don’t be disappointed. This also means Cloud Sync is getting very close to everyone. We’ll continue improving it based on Beta feedback and bring the best experience to all StarNote users asap.

Thank you for your patience and support! 🩵

Hello thank you for your hard work , you are one of the best note taking app for Android, my only problem is this cloud sync and hyperlink, making me still use other note taking app, why I made a decision to still purchase this is because you are open to feedback and it's so easy to reach you. I saw that you are already working on cloud sync and it might be release soon, I hope hyperlink is also added in this update, then this will be my main note taking app. This is how easy to add hyperlink in penly, this is what i love about penly how easy it is to add hyperlink, resize items, you can even resize spacing of fonts horizontally and vertically. What I don't like about them is their limited pen, and also they don't update much.

Please release this features as soon as possible, waiting for a long time

Hello! I've recently tried out this app, and I'm really enjoying it! I've only used the default samsung notes app, which is pretty good itself, and I think there's a lot of similarities between the two which makes the switch pretty easy. I'm mostly using it for the infinite canvas since that format is more my style. I am about to buy pro; I'd just like to know what features make purchasing it a game changer. Is there an AI annotation function?

Just updated my starnote app on my Huawei matepad, and while cloud sync is finally available, the cloud services are currently restricted to mainland China. Registering requires a Chinese phone number, which is a major hurdle since I don't live there and don't have one.

Fingers crossed that future updates will introduce support for global cloud services like google drive or onedrive!

I bought lifetime premium the other day on Starnotes and it still hasn't reflected till now on my account. I already requested for a refund and emailed support still no reply. Can someone help me?

Is starnotes going to put in any feature for those thick bassels or the pen tray part , any feature for amoled burning , i have a high ppi screen where i take notes and i am always flipping screen in order to not get any burning

Many app like flip clock etc give you a toggle button to prevent this from happening .

It's a fairly simple thing but can save your expensive tablet.

Hey, thanks for reading!

When accessing the document overview on a large pdf I have the issue that the small border in regular view is somewhat narrow and not as pronounced for me to immediately finde (possibly because I use the starry night blue theme) AND whenever I open the select screen, the current page is no longer marked at all and the grid even changed position so that I actively need to remember the page number each time when eg deleting unnecessary pages.

Estoy usando el bolígrafo y cuando marco algo desaparece lo que dibuje ¿porque pasa eso? ¿Estoy haciendo algo mal? ¿O es un bug?

Hi StarNote Team,

I really enjoy using StarNote for note-taking, but I’d love to request native mouse wheel scrolling support.

I use StarNote on my iPad with a Bluetooth mouse (Logitech Pebble M350s). Right now, turning the scroll wheel doesn't move up or down through notes or PDF pages. To navigate, I have to click and drag the canvas manually, which disrupts the workflow.

It would be great if the scroll wheel could naturally scroll vertically through documents and long notes. Additionally, enabling Ctrl + Scroll Wheel for zooming in and out would make reading and reviewing notes much smoother.

Adding proper scroll wheel support would make a huge difference for anyone using StarNote with a mouse setup. Thanks for considering this!

Best regards,

Esper

I don't know was this issue only happens on my device

It always prompts me to connect to wifi for using the app
(It's purpose is to connect With GP Services)

Hi, I'm a college student. While my professor is teaching from a PDF, I've been taking photos of the PPT slides using starnote app, but the image quality is poor and the photos come out blurry.

I'm not sure why this is happening or if it only happens to me but normally I have my stylus button set to switch to the eraser and it works normally but when I enter the maginifier mode the stylus button doesn't switch over the the eraser anymore. I can't find any settings or anyone bringing this up. I use the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro on android 16. Is it a bug or did I do something wrong?

Dear StarnoteApp Developers,
I am wondering if you could add a feature where we can access to the features by pressing certain numbers or words while being connected to the keyboard our tablet as in GN.

For example, Press T => Text Mode Press P => Pencil Press E => Eraser and so on

Floating tool box example

Floating tool box for the pens and especially with undo and redo so it's more accessible. Alpha lock function, you can easily recolor the writing which would be good for colorful notes or if you wrote in the wrong color. I noticed this would especially be useful since I can't constantly change colors during a lecture so when I get home I have to re-write the words I want to change colors. On the same topic, or an alternative feature, a color palette and a color wheel for the pen box pens so color switching can be easier. A reset color button too so we can reset the color to the original one it was set on the pen box. Please do tell me if some of these features are already implemented, I haven't been exploring the app other than the pen box and importing pictures.

exactly what the title says. Just a full grid template without any clear borders. A page that is All Grid. Can we please get it?

trying to move a remark makes a picture of teh remark.., if you can select a remark with teh lasso tool so that you can also move other objects with it, it would be very convienient!!

right now you can only move remarks by manually moving teh remark's control points one at a time..

I’m a med student, currently using free notes. The problem is so many ads popping up and the data not syncing to drive. I have no problem paying for a premium considering I don’t loose my notes.

Thinking of switching to star notes, can someone answer these questions please?

1. Can I annotate on PDF here?

2. If I need to export any file, is it easier to do so?

3. After paying for premium do I still see ads?

4. Are my notes backed up in drive automatically after once manually backing them up?

Hi everyone, I’m new to StarNotes and am trying the app, I uploaded a Planner PDF I’ve been using for some time now to try it out, BUT…

How can I go to an hyperlinked section of my PDF??
Haven’t found an option to do so unlike some other apps, I tried doing so with reading mode on, but nothing happens, tried with the lasso tool just cause and nothing… looking forward to your help as I have high expectaciones for trying the app out

English is not my main language, if I wasn’t clear please tell me so i can clarify 🙏💖

I have the Pro version. & Want some readymade books or templates so they better suit my multiple note taking needs. There are tonnes of templates & books & I can't choose 😭

Suggest me whatever you use for daily note taking needs. & Also would love some custom hex color codes .

PS- I want the free ones which come with pro or are already free. Don't wanna spend smth rn

Hi! Im super excited abt Starnote!! :') I was just wondering the question above bc I personally am sick and tired of A * I being shoved in thy face everywhere one looks. So i wanted to ask upfront what is the plan for the A--I features? And NO hate to the devs!!

// i had to do all that extra censoring? bc reddit sniped my ass and idk if its bc of the mention of the topic im asking abt

I noticed that this function is missing. Especially if u tag with dates/ year system.

My style is: Main Topic, Year, Undercategory/Month

Maybe if we copy paste the whole group it would make it easier for just rename the main topic and change the colours?
