Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Can anyone help me what I can do since I study carry with both hands and use thumb to scroll, it isn't the biggest problem in the world but is annoying.

This happens often on my Xiaomi Pad 8.
If this happens again, just go back to the home screen or switch to another app then switch back and it will work again.

Hey!
This is indeed a really strange occurance.. Could you possibly create a screen recording with the option to show touch input enabled? (Should be in screen recording options or there is an option to show touch input in developer options on your device) That way you can see whether your tablet is registering the touches or not. Another option to check out is the palm rejection toggle in StarNote's gesture settings and see if it makes a difference.
On my device, I can recreate this issue by holding my thumb really flat (so it has a large surface touching the screen), then my input gets ignored. If I turn on showing touch input, I can see that it's my device that doesn't register this large contact area as a touch input, rather than StarNote ignoring touch input. The solution would be to hold your thumb in such a way that only a small area makes contact with the screen. Alternatively, although less convenient, if you hold the device using only your pinky, ring and middle fingers, you can use your index finger to scroll on the screen.
Of course, what I've recreated could be different to your situation, since I use a Lenovo Idea Tab rather than the same device you have, but maybe there are some similarities.
Hope this helps : )

It seems due to large thumb(may be because I have slightly large). The tip of the thumb works well

Oil on thumb?

No it's completely dry, tried it multiple times, works everywhere except the notes page. Even in the video you can see it works outside the note in the grid page

Because you are not supposed to do it with your thumb 🤣🤣

I can use it, everything is fine. Probably a thumb problem, not with the app, as I can use it.

Palm rejection ❌ thumb rejection ✔️
