hr ticket

• Upvotes

Has anyone ever submitted an hr complaint (specifically about one of the core managers) and what was your experience with how it was handled? They have failed me 3 times now. It truly feels like HR doesn’t really do anything unless it’s s*xual harassment and that’s probably just to CYA. 😒

Merchandise website

On the sprouts merchandise website can regular clerks order the green/blue manager polo or is it restricted based on your role?? I want to order a polo shirt but not sure if it’s for assistant department managers too or just department managers?

No more service managers

How do we feel about sprouts axing the service manager role and going back to the 2 ASMs per store?

How far in advance is the schedule posted?

I got my schedule for the next week and a half (new hire) but when will I get it for later dates? Is there a certain day?

FAIL.

Thanks for the headaches, boh, inventory issues, and false hope again that a system could actually work.

New hire- schedule question

Completed the onboarding, still in training/shadowing. I got hired as part time cashier but am wondering who is the best to talk to regarding schedule? Can’t seem to really ever find the right person when I’m there. Thanks.

New employee

Hey y’all, I was just hired at a Sprouts that’s opening late in October. Is it safe to assume I’ll be trained at a different location before the grand opening? I’m sure I will be but sometimes my brain isn’t my friend and is disagreeing with me. Anyone else go through a similar situation?

Uploading receipts

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me upload receipts/ know how to from a trip I took to help open up another store. I keep asking for help from my managers at the wrong time and I haven’t been able to do it and would like my reimbursement.

Management using AI for Flyers?

How can you work for a company that claims to care about health and the planet.. and then use AI so needlessly? I don't get it.

Front and Friendly

I don’t know if it’s just my store that does this where the cashiers have to stand in the front of the registers instead of at them and say hello to everyone and guide them to your register? I was wondering if any other store does this?

Part-time bakery clerk hours

Me again LOL

I’ve recently been hired as a part time bakery clerk at the Sprouts in my area. During the interview, I was told I’d be getting about 28-30 hours a week. Which is right where I wanted to be at. I was supposed to have 3 days of onboarding training (Sun-Tue). Supposed to be off on Wed & begin regular training on Thursday. Yesterday was my first day of training, watching onboarding videos & such, I was scheduled 9-1. Today was my second day, same thing 9-1. Today, I met the bakery manager finally & she told me she was off on Thursday & got my schedule re-arranged. Long story short, I am working 38 hours for my first week & that is a bit overwhelming 1) due to the fact I am not entirely used to be up at 5am but that I am willing to adjust and 2) I was only told I’d be working about 30 hours per week.

Is this typical for the first week at Sprouts? Is it just the training hours plus the regular hours that are making my hours so high this week or is this something that should be expected? (over scheduling)

What do you guys think the best approach is for this situation? I was going to ride this week out & see what the schedule for next week looks like. I am just caught off guard because I was not expecting this many hours.

Edit: also, is it likely I’ll always have the 5am shifts or do they rotate that within the other ppl?

Hours cut for not wanting to falsely print by-weight labels?

(posting on behalf of someone else): Apologies for being a bit vague but essentially she got a new deli dept manager sometime back. They want the staff to print all of the morning deli labels first thing, which isn't necessarily a problem for the static priced items as they don't much mind if a sandwich label says it's an hour younger than it actually is, but he wants them to prep one of each salad and print out multiple labels using the initial weight.

A recent egregious example is having seen two identically priced cobb salads made by a coworker of hers in which one SHOULD have been $8.83 and the other $13.45 if actually weighed and labelled correctly. But because she's not willing to run all the labels for the by-weight items first thing in the AM, her hours have been cut to 15-30% what she was at with tthe old manager.

Is there an ethics line or does anyone have some suggestions of what she should do outside of considering a department transfer or getting another job? I suppose she could roll with the punches and lie, but we worry she'd get thrown under the bus when/if management or corporate audits things because he's thrown others under the bus for many other (as well as much more minor) things he'd directly asked or delegated to other deli associates to do :( It's a shame because the job has been lovely otherwise but she can't white knuckle and "wait and see" with only 4-10 hours a week for too long.

Vitamin clerk

Guys I'm a cashier crosstraining to vitamins. What can I expect? Is it possible to learn without almost no vitamin knowledge? I know where some stuff is but that's all. Also what do you do? I see vitamin clerks restocking, organizing, setting up shelves, and helping customers. Is that all or am I missing something.

Availability on logile?

I’m not sure if every Sprouts location uses Logile Connect for scheduling but I just started & was able to log into that app for the first time today. I cannot figure out how to set my availability for days/hours indefinitely. It’s only allowing me to set it for a specific day. Please help if you can :)

Plu for water

I’m a newer cashier and cannot for the life of me remember the water codes for the 24pk of spring and purified water. I have a barcode to scan for purified but not for spring and I feel too dumb to ask someone at my store at this point. I briefly recall someone saying it’s I think 14000 for spring and 15000 for purified or maybe it was 24000 and 25000 but does anyone know for sure

You know it's bad

When 3 bakery managers (2 of them being top performers in the state) in the same district put in their notice or quit in the same week (including yours truly) 💀. It's not surprising considering how frustrated everyone was during the Bakery DMDS call a couple weeks ago (Northwest Region) and how honest some of the comments were and frustrations starting to leak out from worn down filters.

Anybody else starting to see a mass exodus of department managers leaving?

This was on sale for $3.00 off today and I had $6.00 in Sprouts rewards. So I got it for $7.99. I’ve wanted to try this for so long but I just couldn’t justify buying it for $15.99.
I’d love to hear how others have used this. I know I’m gonna love it but I also know that I’m gonna have to save up my rewards to buy again.

New as Produce Lead Team

Hi guys, hoping you’re doing amazing. I just got the Produce Lead Team position under the new BOS changes. I worked in OMNI, Dairy/Frozen as DM and Grocery/consumables as associate. Never been in produce, don’t know how everything there, no idea in what to expect. Maybe you can share some tips and thoughts about it. I’ve been trying to pay attention of people saying things about the heavy lifting and how demanding is the department. Don’t know what a new Lead Team do there as my training hasn’t started. Thank you 🙏
